*We start with Matt and Amy going around the farm. Matt says he needs a new tractor. Amy says the old one works, but Matt just wants a new one, just because. Amy jokes that Matt thinks she is old and worn out and that's why he's trying to replace her...awkward.

*Matt takes Amy into the garage, surprise! He has bought a new car. Two new cars! Mercedes Benz! Amy is ecstatic. Seriously. She looks happier than she has all season.

*Cue the drama filled voice-over, Amy says she is very worried about their finances because Jer and Zach are going off to college and she's concerned Matt is spending money on these new cars. Back to the live footage, Amy is still smiling like cheshire cat and laughing.

*Matt says he got the two of them for 25% below wholesale value an it was too good of a deal to pass up. Amy says she doesn't understand where they're getting the money....

*Ok, my thought. I love the Roloffs. They have an entertaining tv show that I like to watch (and a very cool and hot son!). I'm glad for them that they're stinking rich. I don't care that they have 18 cars and buy 2 Mercedes Benz just because they can. But the fake drama part and the pretend lying about how are they going to pay for it is getting tiring. I don't think Amy was mad about Matt getting two new Benz'. Her expression didn't say that! She was thrilled. But I think they don't want everybody in the family to be seen jumping up and down happy over them spending their wealth because they know it will piss off some viewers so they dream up this fake drama with Amy supposedly being all against it and talk about how are they going to pay for it. They're rich from the TV show! We're not stupid. Gosh!!!! Just be honest. End of rant.

*Amy is planning the grad party with her friends, two mothers of Jeremy and Zach's friends who will be graduating with them. Hey people! This is the big grad party! The now infamous grad party with the missing pictures!

*At lunch Amy is talking with her friends about how much is going to change with Jer and Zach graduating and leaving. This is anti-climatic since we know nothing has really changed except now Jer and Zach are going to Portland Community College a few days a week and it's closer to home than Faith Bible High School was. But Amy talks about how things are changing and goes into one of those very boring and drama filled "what will become of Matt and I when the kids leave?"

*Matt is showing off his new Mercedes. Mueller seems to like it. Jer and Matt take it for a spin. Jer speeds down the road. Jer said he and the buds came up with a new nickname for Matt, "The Big M.R."...because Matt Roloff does everything big and in grand style.

*Uh-oh. Matt and Amy come out to look at Amy's new car. There's a scratch on it. Matt says Jeremy is not allowed to drive the car until he finds out what happened. Amy doesn't care. They voice over that Jeremy took Amy's car and when he had it out someone scratched it up by the door. Amy doesn't care because "It's just a car" (and let's be real, it's not like it's any trouble for the Roloffs to have it fixed). Amy doesn't care that Jeremy dinged up her car, but she says Matt is pissed. Amy says Matt was more mad that Jeremy didn't even tell them that he happened. Matt goes on about how very frustrating it is. He doesn't actually sound too mad to me. It's a good time to point out the change in Amy about Jeremy. In the first season she probably would have been all over him. Like the garage door incident when Jeremy backed the trailer into the garage, Amy didn't care about this either.

*Speaking of garage doors. Matt tore off the mirror on his new Mercedes. He's blaming the kids for Matt backing into the door. There was a man door in the garage that the kids left open, Matt didn't see it and smashed his side mirror to pieces. Amy laughs at him. Matt wants to speak to Molly. She's playing Rockband. Amy tells Matt to call her on her cell. Matt and Amy are in Matt's office in the house. You know you're living in a mansion when you have to call on your cell from room to room to get a hold of your own family.

*Amy says she wants to splurge on events like the graduation party for Jeremy and Zach because that's what important. This is the theme of the whole show tonight. Amy says Matt wastes time and money on projects and stuff that doesn't matter and isn't as concerned with important life moments....like giving Jeremy and Zach and their class the best damn Graduation Party in the history of the world!

*Amy is driving off in her car. Matt comes to the drivers door and asks her if she likes it. Amy says "it's alright". This will go over well with all the poor people watching. Nothing like seeing rich people get two new Mercedes and then being all ho-hum about it. Matt kisses Amy on the cheek. He stays standing there, so Amy leans over and kisses him on the cheek. Matt likes that better. Amy drives away saying "I can't do this anymore". Is that supposed to be a reference to kissing Matt or driving a Mercedes? Poor Amy.

*Matt and Amy go around the farm again for Matt to show her the latest projects. Cut the theme of the show tonight. Amy says Matt cares too much about projects and not things that are important. Matt says being creative and his projects is the reason why he wakes up in the mornings.

*Matt explains that the farm is his creativity and it's his legacy. Matt talks about how they're figuring out what they do that's good together and what they do that doesn't work and they're wondering if they really want to spend the rest of their lives together.....Gosh I'm so sick of this. In Matt's newsletters he's saying everything is great, so please Matt, stop with the "on the show" "Do we want to spend our lives together?" Liar liar pants on fire!!! (semi lie because he phrased it as question, but it's the same thing!)

*Moving on....it's the graduation party! The infamous grad party, we (at least the members of The Jeremy Lovers Society which I am a proud member!) have been looking forward to seeing this....

*There are a few shots of Jeremy playing soccer with the rest of the grads, but they're ruining it......just like they did on the BVI trip and the Utah trip....it's Amy talking about how Matt isn't there and they didn't see Matt too much. Then they show Matt, he explains that Amy wants to keep him at a distance because this is her thing.......I want to see the Grad Party not Matt and Amy giving the same speech for the two millionth time this season!!!!!!!

*They come back from a commercial and at least give us a few seconds of the grad party. Yay! Jer and his friends build a human pyramid. Zach climbs up on them. For the shameless lovers of Jeremy's ass, there is a very nice shot from behind as Zach is climbing up :)

*They show the graduates around a camp fire. Note. I think most of us knew this but in case you didn't, yes that was Dani, Zach's sort of ex, with Zach and Jer's friend Brendan or BJ.

*Matt comes to say happy graduation to the grads around the fire.

*Maybe he's tired or maybe sad about graduation, but for some reason, Jeremy looks especially sad sitting around the fire.

*They don't even end the show with stuff about the grad party. They end with the same old drama. Matt talks about the future with Amy. Amy says she thinks they'll probably still be together in 20 years but now when she thinks about that, she has some doubts.....

End of episode.

There is no LPBW next week and Jan 4th will be a new episode about Zach having ear surgery. Ouch.

This week was good to be back on the farm, but I'm really getting sick of the marriage drama taking over everything. They don't even let the viewers enjoy the stuff Jeremy and his friends are doing anymore, it's all about "Watch to see if we divorce!!!! We might, we might not. We might. We might not. We might. We might not.....frustrating.

I agree with you about the marriage crap.

If there is a 6th season, they might be able to get 4 more Mercedes, a family set! Please pray for the Roloffs to be able to get the complete set!

Jeremy is quite the responsible young adult isn't he? Scratch up a new car and of course in typical Jeremy fashion, takes no responsibility for it and isn't made to be held accountable.

Is there a more selfish human being on the planet than Matt Roloff? Maybe in a few years he will be surprised by his pride and joy, Jeremy.

How many freaking cars does Jeremy need to drive?

He has his truck. A BMW. A second BMW. He drives Amy's Mercedes. He had Amy's van. Those kids aren't spoiled at all...

Amy needs to stop complaining. I wish my husband would buy me a Mercedes!

It's kind of sad that TLC can't find something better to film. I wish that Matt could use some of his creativity and maybe some of TLCs money to leave his legacy someplace like maybe a children's hospital or some parks or schools in disadvantaged areas.

I'm so tired of their marriage drama! Every freaking episode! No wonder numbers are low! People tune in and see Amy and Matt whine some more about their relationship and tune out.
I'm so tired of the fake we're poor. Wahh! Look at our benz' are used what's used? Last months?

Nobody wants to watch yet another episode about this!
What are they going to turn zachs surgery into talk of divorce?
Zachs ear hurts I hate my marriage! Let's spend another 30 minutes talking about it.

I think they just tape for too many years and the money and fame go to their heads and its not fun to watch anymore. I liked this show up until about 2 years ago. i felt the same about J&K+8 Two years, tops. The little couple is getting out of han and if you watch the Duggers, they seem to be changing week by wee. But that is just my opinion.

Anonymous said...

I apologize for my spelling in the prior comment. thr Duggers change week by week and the little couple is getting out of hand. I do pray for Josie Dugger and what lies ahead for her and her family.

I hate how they turn everything into "the marraige problem"
How can Jer and Zach's awesome grad party turn into Matt and Amy's marraige problems?
I know me and Expressed want to see more Jeremy and not marraige problems!
I loved the human pyramid when they showed Jer's ass :) hehe
Jer did look sad. I wonder why?
Great review Expressed! :)

Matt buys amy a car that she did not know anything about because she does not need one she has a nice van it was a lame excuse on matt's behalf to amy so that he could turn around and buy the one he really wanted for himself and he was afraid if he bought one car amy would have wanted on for herself and that is not how amy operates let see here they have a truck jeremey use to drive a car jer bought with his own money amy has a van a truck matt bought her zach has amy's old van matt has ford excersion, child hood volks wagon another volks wagon and another volks wagon although it has not aired yet molly has a buick nova now matt turns around and buy 2 more cars one for him and one for amy as stated above that gives you a total of twelve automobiles there is six family members with only 5 of them driving because jacob is only 12yrs old soon to be 13.When jacob gets his license matt should not have no excuse to buy anything for jacob he has a whole car dealership in his yard at the end of tonights show matt discovered that amy's car has scracthes he turns around and break his outside mirrior and blames jeremy for amy's bruised car and blames all the kids for leaving the side door next to the garage open so as he is backing out and damages his own car if matt would have only stop to think why are things happing to the two new used cars that i bought? the answer is god is not going to bless a person who has now let fame and fortune take over there lives he is not going to be there for some one who is now buying things beyond there means the most automobiles that should be on roloff farm should be 7 at the most with two of them being used for farm use the other 5 for personal use those two cars that he bought from a auction out of califorinia could and should have been for someone who actually needs a car not for some one who is buying just to buy to say they have one, it really disguses me to see how matt waste money on materiallistic things and he had the nerve to want to ask for donations for him and his family and other little people to go over seas this past summer and the killing part is he got all kinds of donations and sponsors to make the trip over seas how about you matt donate some of your cars to a true honest needy family who needs transportation after losing there job due to job loss or donate a large sum of earnings to several needy familys and homeless shelters in the portland or, area how about you matt pay for the other litte people who have money problems that are not able to attend the yearly little people conventions that is giving from year to year how about that matt i very disapointed in you matthew roloff i see why now amy acts the way she does toward you am not saying that it is okay for her to treat you and talk to you that way but maybe if you get your goals in order with one of them saving money for your kids college fund sense the twins are going to transfer from a commuinity college in the near future to a state 4 year college maybe the tention between you and your wife could get better grow up matt and save your money and invest in it wisely before you don't have no more money and family to because right now you are making your self look bad on national and world wide telivsion get your act and goals and life in check please, because the things that you are doing right now is making people tune out of watching your show rather than people tunning in each week the ratings countioulsly drop like flies i know am one that is considering not to watch after looking at tonights show it was just awful on your part matt just awful get a grip on what is a need and a fact in life matt and not what is lust and a want just because.

I LOVED the pyramid, too :)

Maybe I was wrong about Jeremy being sexy but selfish...was that Jeremy that said "Zach, step on my butt to get to the top"?

What a brother, offering his butt as a step. LOL! :)

Anonymous said...

I agree with you 100% anonymous at 8:29 pm matt does need to get a grip on life thanks for making a well informed statement i think that everyone should think the way you think the world would be better off

Timothy said...

Hey Expressed and Noell, I could do without the camera angles of "Jeremy's butt", but I agree with you to a point.

What happened to the days where the focus was on whatever they were doing at the time? Now everything is about the marriage. If they don't mention it every minute, they think the audience is going to forget about it.

Using a pretend divorce for a plotline as a ratings grab is crappy.

"Jer did look sad. I wonder why?"

He really did. I think Jeremy always gets sad at those types of things. He looked sad last year at his friends concert at the coffee house talking about after high school. He looked sad talking about the last dance. He looked sad after the last high school soccer game. Jer looking sad at a graduation party is par for the course.

LL said...

i never realized jeremy's butt was so big...its huge!!! lol!

Craw said...

Be careful LL. Rap will be bashing Jeremy for that too...

anonymous at 9:38 is missing the point why buy something that is not broken why buy something that you know is not a need why buy something you know that your spouse is not into why buy another car with out trading the other one in why waste money when there is no need we are in a depression matt should do better things with his money like invest it into something that will be good for him and his family this tv show is not going to last for ever they was barely making it back in 2005 when they started filming this show the show ended up becoming an over night success although they still had big money problems like he wanted to add a garage to connect to their house then matt turns around and make a simple project turn into a huge massive remodle and add on to his house that end up costing him big to the point where the kids had to move out of their rooms and into the family room and stayed their for six months because he kept making changes that made the cost go up and had no money to complete the once simple add on garage these are examples of why matt should stop being big minded and invest in the little money that he has because at the end of the day i believe his wife and kids are going to be stuck with paying all the loan bills that he created for no good reason because his health is starting to fail him get a hold to reailty matt roloff get it together before it is to late

LPBW is getting increasingly irritating and boring....same ole, same ole. Amy, if you're so disillusioned with your husband, get the hell out! Your eye-rolling and whining is okay for maybe a few episodes, but now it seems to be a 'theme' for you.
The Roloff's are fast becoming a joke. It's like the entire family is a bunch of bumbling idiots who can't even keep their motives straight on how to present themselves for ratings. 'Uh, do we act mad or not act mad'? 'Do we act like we're wealthy or like we're financially struggling'?
The kids terrorize the house without a care in the world and Amy's spin on it is: 'oh, kids will be kids!!' The truth of the matter is that neither she nor Matt have any control over them.
She blames the poor dog for staining the carpet but NOT her precious kids, ESPECIALLY Molly who does no wrong EVER. Golden child.
I agree with the previous poster in that all of these so-called reality families are changing. Yes, even Little Couple and the Duggar's. I can't put my finger on it but it's there. Inevitably the husband and wife grow annoyed with each other as their net worth increases (aka higher ratings) Although it's hard to imagine either of these couples becoming as infuriating as the Roloff's or Gosselin's. Besides, I think daddy Duggar is too busy impregnating his wife. Nice family but omg give it a rest!

Yep Kapper, increasingly irritating and boring it is. This show jumped the shark some time ago. What a whiner that Amy is. Poor, poor Amy, newly remodeled home, extensive property, - gosh, she should quit her complaining already.

LPBW has become the Amy complains about her husband on tlc show. Enough already. She's gotten a little big for her britches imo. selfcentered and mean too.

For the record, and for what it's worth, when Amy is preparing to drive away in the Mercedes, and Matt is leaning in to ask how she likes it, Amy says that the car embarrasses her.

Kapper said...

Well, if the damn car embarrasses Amy so much then why did she even accept it in the first place??? What's REALLY embarrassing is her reaction to it. Hypocrite. She's constantly saying how competitive and upfront she is - I can't believe she didn't have the audacity to reject the car. Oh wait, I forgot: it's about the show=$$$ and THAT'S what counts. Ka-ching, ka-ching...she can make her husband look like an a-hole for giving his wife a car.
NICE Amy!!!

Em said...

I think Expressed is right about Amy's reaction. That's what I saw too.

Her facial expression and her words on camera were a giant contradiction. She looked like a kid in a candy store sitting in the Mercedes when Matt showed it to her in the garage.

Rap541 said...

Kapper - Matt bought the car at auction and didn't include Amy in the decision. Most auctions, by their very nature, don't allow returns. While I think Amy picks fights with Matt(I hate her issues with discipline) this isn't simply a case where the car can be returned.

Ronda said...

People we don't know what is really going on here. I have been to those auctions and you can choose your car and maybe she would rather choose her car. If I remember right Matt said he bought her and him one. It like this is what you are going to drive. Has anyone thought maybe she likes driving a mini van because you sit up higher. You shouldn't add in more without knowing. I think both of them are going through a midlife crisis. That house isn't even all paid and he keeps adding more and more expenses and maybe she is embarrassed to drive the care because she knows they can't afford them right now specially when they are sending their twins off to college. I think she is going through a crisis losing her boys, the death of her friend Mike and it been since that time that Matt and Amy have had a really hard time communicating. For example the family vacation where Amy couldn't go do to a speaking engagement. There are signs for both of them that they are suffering still. I don't doubt for a second that Matt and Amy don't love each other I can see that or she wouldn't have kissed him. This is their issue to work through not America's issue to figure out and put them down. Rather we need to encourage them to listen to each other have a date night and so on. Then need to fall back in love take a trip for just the two of them. Their kids are old enough now to take care of themselves. With two kids able to drive that take care of Molly and Jacob needs. Some times we get caught up in raising our children and when it time for them to go we forget that love we had for one another unless you work really hard and it takes TWO to work through and two and the American views. Give them a break and pray for them.

Kapper said...

Then I stand corrected - yeah, you're right, then I'd probably be pissed at my hubby as well. However, she COULD have said 'Honey, I appreciate your gesture, but really, this car just isn't ME' My guess is that she probably DID like it but didn't want to let on...

Kapper said...

It's pretty obvious that Matt and Amy are having marital troubles. But what I can't wrap my head around is when she involves the kids. I'll always remember when she gave high-fives to Molly and Zach for not going to the British Virgin Islands with their dad. How sad.
I keep saying it at the risk of sounding like a broken record, but, damn it, it's just plain WRONG to pit a child against a parent.
A kid will come to their own conclusions as they grow older. Yes, Matt can be a real douche-bag at times. But they ALL can be, no exceptions.
I cannot stomach Tiger Woods but he, even HE, has a right to his children, just as much as his wife does.

Am I the only person that feels that while the opinions are valid, "anonymous", really needs to learn how to use punctuation, in their comments that are being posted. Honestly, how can you post two comments without a single "period", to break up the context? Seriously, it has got to be the MOST difficult thing ever, to try to understand, whatever point, that you are trying to make, without punctuation. A run-on sentence, in a forum has got to be one of the most frustrating things to run across on these sites. Arrrggg! It's simple proper english folks, please remember that dreaded English Class education, and use it, so that you don't make yourself look silly, when trying to make a valid point. The points WERE valid, it just takes away from the credibility of the point when you use a huge run-on sentence.
