Roloff family summer travel plans have begun

It's the summer. For the Roloff family, that always means non-stop adventure in the form of travel, travel and more travel.

Amy's Charity Foundation cruise as started. The date of the cruise is from June 26th - July 2nd.

Amy flew to Fort Lauderdale, Florida where the Cruise begins with Zach and Jeremy. She posted this picture on her charity site.

And Amy with her charity foundation board members and friends that viewers know from the LPBW episodes regarding her Golf Tournament - Lisa and Gayle.

You can see the ship Amy will be on in the video Amy did in February:

Then from the end of the cruise, it's off to Nashville for the party known as the National Little People Conference of America in Nashville. The date of the LPA conference is July 2 to the 9th.

Matt Roloff has said in an earlier interview that originally he wasn't planning on going to the LPA conference this year, but changed his mind because Molly wants to bring her best friends with her to the Little People of America conference.

Jeremy will be on the cruise?

Well, if so, that's a good development!!!

The cruise will probably get a couple of weeks in Season 6. A week of Jeremy on a cruise will mean more shirtless Jeremy on LPBW :)

In the video Amy did with the cruise guy, didn't she say Molly and Jake were going? But it's Jer and Zach? What a bonus for the cruisers! Instead of spending the week with bratty Jake, they'll get to see Jeremy and be around him having a blast.

I like that Amy uses her celebrity to raise money. She has fun and she raises money. Wins all around.

I wasn't aware Jeremy was going? If that's true, I'm impressed with him. No many 20 year olds are so supportive of their family as Jeremy. Amy and Zach have reasons to support the foundation, it primarily benefits the DAAA. But Jeremy doesn't as an average sized person.

I think it's great that even as he gets older he still supports the causes of his family members.

Happy cruising Roloffs. Hopefully Zach won't sulk too much this vacation and won't be such a downer.

ITA Expressed.

Zach will probably spend the entire cruise in his cabin watching the World Cup.

Let me get this right.

Jeremy gets paid to vacation on a luxury cruise ship the size of a small city and then he will party like a maniac in Nashville (to please God), and Dana is patting him on the back for selflessly giving and sarcrificing?

Yeah, that makes sense (rolls eyes).

I could see changing plans simply because, having been on a cruise or two myself, they aren't really kid oriented unless you're on the Disney line. Its a lot of eating and drinking and partying. Molly and really Jake too, are too old for the kiddy activties but not old enough for the drinking and gambling.

I'm going to take Greg's side here. Accepting a free vacation is not actually "supporting a cause" or "selflessly sacrificing to support the family". This goes back to the pedestal Jeremy gets put on. Is he actually doing anything other than partying?

And I am not judging him for partying (and the legal drinking age on most cruise boats is 18 FYI). I'm questioning the praise he gets for... taking a free vacation. I mean... what is he doing to earn the praise? Is it really so awful, having to go on a cruise that Jeremy needs to be held up for his selfless sacrifice?

When it doesn't involve Jeremy having fun... does Jeremy support his family?

I also like the implication, Zach is a dwarf so his support of DAAA is purely selfish while Jeremy as average height who has no need to support DAAA is of course selflessly sacrificing his life plans for the cause. I assume Matt is also selfish for creating CODA as he is a dwarf, supporting a charity for dwarfs?

No... I bet no one will agree to that. ;)

Rap, this isn't a normal cruise though. I think they said the Oasis cruise ship is the largest in the world. It's a floating city. They even have different sections and themes. I didn't watch that video again, but from what I remember the co-ordinator lady talked a lot about it being kid friendly. There is a luxury pools (probably lots) and a huge video game room.

If it was a normal cruise I would agree with you. But the Roloffs are rich and this is a rich person's cruise. They have everything to keep kids entertained.

"And I am not judging him for partying (and the legal drinking age on most cruise boats is 18 FYI"

I didn't know that. I thought because the cruise ship is American, they are still bound by American laws. Cool! Now it makes sense why Jeremy and Zach are going. It would be nice if the show was real for a change and showed the partying. They should have advertized that Jeremy was going. "Party with a drunk Jeremy Roloff" might have been enough to entice a few more people to splurge :)

I didn't take what Dana said the same way you did. She wasn't saying that Amy and Zach (and Matt) are selfish for supporting Dwarf causes. She was saying that Jeremy has no obligation to support those things because they don't affect him now that he's an adult.

Rap, I agree. Well said about Jeremy. It's just another vacation for Jeremy. Another party. That's what the Roloffs do.

That's Zach and Jeremy's career path. Full time slackers - vacationers and party addicts.

The cruise fits Jeremy perfectly especially if the cameras are on board (they must be, the Roloffs wouldn't miss a chance to depict the Roloffs as "working" for charity), he will get to play his Himbo role to superbly!

Plus (in honor of Shadow), this fulfils Jeremy's one and only dream that he's had ALL his life! To go on this cruise!

Btw, true story, Shadow. I popped in an old recording I had, and guess what came on the screen? Jeremy talking about his hovercraft. I quote Jeremy word for word, I kid not!:

"Ever since I was 4 years old, my one and only dream was to be able to fly".

How many other things has he said was his one and only dream since he was 4 years old? Going to Scotland, wearing a kilt, looking at old castles.

We can make a game out of how many times Jeremy says something was his one and only dream since he was four years old.

They ALL say that, Expressed - that the cruise is kid friendly, but cruising hs a LOT of enticing, adult activites. Its fun to cruise, don't get me wrong, but I was not surprised at the bored teens and preteens I saw wandering around.
Once a cruise ship hits international waters, it reverts to the laws of where the ship is registered as far as alcohol goes and thats why most cruise lines don't register in the US.

And frankl Expressed, Matt and Amy and Zach are "rich" as you have stated and have no obligation to support dwarf charities at all either. No one in the world has any obligation to support any charity. What makes Jeremy special here?

Carol - and I agree with you ;) I have no issue with Jeremy and Zach heading off on a cruise but its a vacation. Amy is going to do the work. The twins will show up for one or two events, and will spend the rest of the time having a party. Which is fine... but it's not exactly selfless or a sacrifice.

I'm curious if Jeremy would "show his support" if he wasn't getting a "free trip on a rich person's cruise".

And love the quote - gosh he's such a go-getter chasing and accomplishing his dreams.... wasn't Matt bragging how Jeremy was doing ground school for his pilot liscence? I wonder if it got too hard for the big boy....

Ooh! Ooh! It has to be a DRINKING game!!!!! Everybody get your shot glasses ready! Shouldn't take long before we're all ready to hop in our vans and weave all over the road!

I have to disagree with the statement about Jeremy no longer being affected by his parent's and brother's dwarfism. Their conditios are not going to change because Jeremy became an adult. If anything, their physical limitations and ailments will just get worse. meaning Jeremy may be further involved in their care in the future. And, if not, he is still affected by their conditions.
Surely you know someone with a family member with a life long medical condition, and they are affected by it. Surely you know of the Susan Komen foundation, started by a woman whose sibling had breast cancer. Surely you've heard of the actress Glenn Close, whose foundation assists those who are mentally ill because her sibling was/is mentally ill.
Jeremy, and rightly so, will always be involved with Dwarfism foundations.

of course, as long as he and the Roloffs can make a buck from it.

That or just to make themselves look good. Like the Iraki family Matt help get here and them let them to the care of a soldier. Then the father of the group was gravely ill and neither TLC or Matt moved a finger or help with any money to cover the medical bills.
Oh, TLC and the Roloffs helped as long as they were able to benefit in publicity and ratings.
These guys are the scum of the earth. Their charities take more than 70% in administrative costs and only a small amount actually gets to the intended target. I am uphold by how shallow and the lack of humility of these people. Have they no decency.
Oh, and what of the many admirers that keep idolizing these leaches. Every time the something pops up, the blogs are full of people saying "lets give them the benefit of the doubt", "They are so good", etc...
Come on idiots. WAKE UP!!!
The Roloff don't care about anybody but the Roloffs. They make fun of their fans. Wake up and a smell what the scum around them.
