Matt and Jeremy Roloff BVI trip - Mackenzie Family

Just a little more about the people that took Matt and Jeremy Roloff on their yacht through the BVIs.

If you didn't read our original article for the background story, check this out:

http://spiritswander.blogspot.com/2010/08/more-information-about-matt-and-jeremy.html

This was brought to our attention so we're passing it on for any guitar fans out there and if you're curious about the BVI trip and who the mystery family was that offered the trip to Matt and Jeremy.

The son in the family that hosted Matt and Jeremy, who we hear spent most of the trip hanging out with Jeremy, is a guitar player/singer and has a You Tube video. He's pretty good! Really good actually, in my non-expert musical opinion :-) Perhaps in a few years the Roloffs will be the ones saying "Hey, I once went on a vacation with that (famous) guy!"

That kid is good!
So is Jeremy. He's not doing anything in those pictures, but he looks good :)

Although I'm having a hard time getting used to the fuzz...shave Jer!

If anyone wants to take me on a trip around the BVI's, I'm willing :)

A talented musician and a talented photographer and they're both Christian. I can see why Spencer and Jeremy got along. I'm glad they had a good time and I am sure they both have bright futures.

The kid can play. That must mean he is dedicated.

Probably not a good idea to hang out with Jeremy. Jeremy's slacking ways and lack of applying himself (as well as Jeremy's nasty habit of insulting people) might rub off on the kid.

So nice of Matt (and Jeremy, but he's not capable of speaking because he's just a wee baby) to not even publicly thank these people for giving them a free vacation. That's the Roloffs. Always classy! Not.

Nice people are way too nice to the Roloffs. Matt and Jeremy are all about greed and self centeredness getting things for themselves without ever paying.

People should extend kindness to people that really deserve it, not already rich arrogant celebrities like Matt and Jeremy.

PS I think Jeremy's facial hair looks bad. He must be trying to be stylish again.

David, if you look closely at the picture, you'll see that Jeremy has his Nikon camera. It's not fair to say Jeremy isn't dedicated or doesn't apply himself.

You know, I will throw Matt (and wee baby Jer hee) a small bone here. Two, actually. One - its probably being filmed for TLC, the Mackenzie family is probably getting free advertizing for their charity, and they probably didn't have to pay for Jeremy and Matt to fly down.

Second, if it was a private invitation (for the above reason, I have my doubts but...) then I see no reason why Matt can't say thank you privately.

Dana - are you *seriously* suggesting that carrying a camera on a vacation is the sign of dedication to the arts?

Really? Because if so, I am a serious photographer :)

"Jeremy's holding a camera! He's sooo talented!"

Hee hee hee Oh look a picture of Jeremy holding a beer. In DanaLand, it must be fair to say Jeremy is an alcoholic! After all, *holding a camera* makes him a talented dedicated photographer, so holding a beer....

Oh look! Jeremy holding Mueller :)

Rap, I don't think it was filmed but I could be wrong. Matt said in his facebook posts that he would be meeting up with his crew in North Carolina (for the skydiving).

The Roloffs are too cheap and selfish. I bet they didn't pay for their flight. If the Mackenzie family invited them, I bet Matt and Jeremy made them pay for them to fly down there as part of their invitation.

Matt could have thanked the Mackenzies for the trip when he said they were going on a yacht in the BVIs. He could have linked their charity or this kid's music.

I guess they didn't pay enough so he went with the grease link instead!

Christine - I agree he certainly could have done a nice little thank you on his face book... but that he didn't doesn't mean he didn't thank them at all. If it was all private with no filming, then I see no reason to assume there wasn't a private thank you.

I meanwhile am pondering what Jeremy and Mueller are doing with all that grease ;)

Rap, I hope and will assume they aren't that awful that they wouldn't have said "thank you" when they were leaving, but they do have an audience. If the Mackenzie's have things that some attention would help, it would be no skin of Matt's nose to do a shout out to them, but he didn't. He only does it when companies fork over money to him and Jeremy.

I agree with Christine @1:17

Fans of the Roloffs are far nicer and simply better people than the Roloffs are. It's too bad they reap the rewards of the kindness of others.

Looks like fun.

Haha, seems you all have good time. I am planning cruise for my wife's birthday next weekend. Probably hire small yacht and sail around Andaman bay. I think she will love it.

I know this musician Spencer... he is a good musician and working on recording his first album at 14 years old.. thats what's with the guitar on the boat and all.

David said...

I agree he's very good. Can't believe he's 14. Impressive.

I agree he's really good. The video looks amazing. It's so professional looking. It's better than some of the things you see on music stations (if music stations still played music! Ahem MTV!)

I wish him well and he is good.

I just think it's unfortunate that Jeremy duped them and they showed kindness towards a person that doesn't deserve it.

It was said they are sensitive towards mentally developmental challenges and would like to see an end of the word "retarded".

I am guessing they bought into the image of the Roloffs and didn't realize that Jeremy and his buds loved using the "R word". It's another case of the Roloffs deceiving people to get something for themselves.
