Oct 26
Thanks everyone for so many messages supporting Amy. Most of you are right. The county did violate our 4th amendment rights of illegal search. The officer was dead wrong. Our legal options are being explored. Thanks again for all the well wishes I have passed them on to pitbull Amy. :)))).

Oct 24
Long day in the rain. Now packed and ready to jump up at 4am to catch 6:00 flight to LA. Lots to do.. Sign nondisclosures here ...reversion agreements over there.... meet with lawyers, producers, network execs and agents....ad sales team and even composers. 3 days of fun and excitement

Oct 23
Giants !!

Oct 22
So excited about my new project I can't see straight. :))). Staying focused on pumpkins today tomorrow And Sunday. ... Then in LA Mon, tues, wen. ... Then back to pumpkins for final week. Btw. The famy knocked it out of the park again today. I soooo proud of everyone

Oct 21
Nice break from all the action last few days... Back to Pumpkin business tomorrow. I have serious case of happy feet.

Oct 18
Tonight... my very favorite episode! They've been working on collecting footage for this show since forever. Thank goodness the Rock is alive and well even though he went through a real rough spell. The injections and meds even have him back outside the house again playing with the skunks. Just like old times :)).

Oct 17
Unbelievable day at the Farm. Record setting attendance. Met sooo many people from all over the world. Just got back from taking Amy and the kids to dinner. What a great weekend and nice time tonight. Now time to rest.

Oct 16
Whoa.. too much to even think about.

Oct 14
A M A Z I N G !! I had soooo much fun reading all these cool experiences. We just spent the last 2 hours logging many of these ideas. I'll keep you posted as I progress on this plan I've had for past 3 years. THank You all!! I'll keep reading and logging as they come in.

Oct 13
Doing research for one of my new projects.... Post what you did "outdoors" as a kid.. that kids don't seem to do anymore... i.e. play kick the can... Build a tree house. etc.. Plz Don't post these experiences on my wall but rather as a comment to this post. Thanks! I look forward to reading how you had fun outdoors... back in the day..

Oct 11

Getting up very early to do radio tour. Gonna discuss stalker/bully issue (this is just one of several issues we have open cases on) and pumpkin patch... Off to bed

Oct 11
Sorry... I didn't get the live video FB message out this weekend. Haven't forgotten... just distracted by the crazy events of the weekend. Crazy life... We can make a show about the process of having a show ... ya know.?

Oct 11
Thank you! to our Sheriff, Washington DC office of the FBI, TSA, Port of Portland, Discovery Security for identifing and thrawting the efforts of a long term stalker/harasser to the Roloff family. After receiving hundreds of emails/phone messages dating back to 2006 we are pleased with the outcome. The individule who made scary threats and trirades is now out been identified and will not be visting our farm anymore.

Oct 11
I'm thinking about flying to Sydney this November. Never been there before. Any ideas on what to do??

Oct 10
...Even Jacob is working this year. He's running the Pumpkin Kicker-- You kick a soccer ball through the eye of a giant pumpkin and win a prize. Man Jacob has come a long way in the last 6 months.

Oct 10
A nutter fun day at the patch... I just snuck in the office to share a quick fact. So far this October we've had guests from 42 states and 18 counties.

Oct 9
Wow! another GREAT day at the Roloff Farm Pumpkin patch. I couldn't believe all the brave souls that still came out in the pouring rain. Another record day! Thanks everyone. I had to change my clothes twice today to get dry.

Oct 7
It's my bestest birthday ebber so far. Thanks to all the warm wished on my facebook page. :)))))))))

Oct 6
Got contacted today from several national news agencies and the FBI re: Cyber bulling situations.. and how it applies to "reality people". Sounds like fantastic and significant investigation going on. Finally those sour pusses that hide behind ghost identity gonna get exposed. :) Gotta love that. Hope investigation only last couple years and I not a life time. :)

Oct 6
I'm feeling a nutter video message coming on soon--- maybe even LIVE from the pumpkin patch this weekend??

Oct 6
A sweet young family of 4 came up to me last Sunday... "Matt, we're not wealthy. we're thankful to Roloff Farm, it only cost us .50cents each ($2,00 parking) to come in and enjoy the ENTIRE day. We saw tigers, lion many exotics, played on the chair, Hay pyramid, face painted, and got autographs and photos with all the family." I tell that story to give the criticizers something to keep them busy criticizing about. :)

Oct 5
...oh wait a minute.. I just remembered my 49th Bday is the day after tomorrow. I take it all back... Slow down der baby.. Stop da clock...

Oct 5
I love my life! It's so interesting, fun and rewarding! Say Hooray... everyday! God is good if you have faith.

========================

All of the above updates and contents is from the offical and real Fan Facebook page of Matt Roloff. You can visit it via this link:

http://www.facebook.com/RealMattRoloff

We have decided to start a new item for Matt's August 2010 Facebook items and discussion, due to the other item having over 200 comments and was getting a tad lengthy.

It was suggested that we open this up because some fans aren't active on Facebook, but still want to express themselves on some of Matt's updates and information, and some people just don't feel comfortable saying what they really want to say or what they think about a particular Matt post because his Facebook page is strictly a fan page and some people don't feel comfortable expanding on their thoughts beyond "That's wonderful Matt, you're the greatest Matt" which is the response to most everything Matt posts on Facebook.

I'm very glad to hear that Jeremy has joined Matt on this trip. How blessed they both are to enjoy each other's company.

Greg said...

Wow, another Matt and Jeremy trip...shocking...

David said...

Can Matt make it anymore obvious who his favorite kid is? A parent is at least supposed to try to conceal it.

What is the strange updates? The ... is his "staff" typing this and moderating it? It doesn't even make sense...

What is Jeremy doing in any meeting in the BVIs? Jeremy and Matt are meeting in D.C. or they have meeting together with someone else? If they are meeting up in D.C after being in the BVIs together, where is Jeremy now?

Jason said...

Business meeting in the BVI...yeah right!

Timothy said...

Those silly Facebook fans. They think (A) Jeremy is Matt's business partner?? (B) Jeremy is in the BVI to join the military?

Matt has been talking about how life will change because Jeremy is getting older since 2005.

Life doesn't change very fast or at all for Jeremy. lol. It's 2010. How is Jeremy's life any different than it was in 2005?

Matt has cried wolf a few too many times about how things will be changing as it relates to the twins.

Expressed said...

? So what is Matt trying to say? I wish he would be more blunt than using everything as a teaser for the show...

What's he saying? Jeremy got a job in the BVIs? Only Matt can make a trip to the Virgin Islands sound like work and not another vacation. Gotta love him :)

Dana said...

I agree Sheri. It is nice, but perfectly understandable. Who else would Matt want and trust to have by his side for a business trip and part adventure, than Jeremy?

Zach would argue and complain. Molly is proving herself to be disloyal to Matt and Jacob is hard to deal with at the best of time when it's nothing but fun.

I'm happy for Matt that he can squeeze this trips in with Jeremy while he still has the chance.

David, there is no need to be snippy because you don't understand and Matt chose not to release all the details.

It could mean many things. Perhaps they saw some people on their trip and down trodden circumstances. It could be an observation about life and not something personal.

In Matt's first post about the trip he mentioned "big adventure", that's all the more reason why Jeremy is the perfect person to accompany Matt on this trip.

Diane said...

Well, with the word "networking", it probably means someone gave something to Jeremy for free or dropped something in his lap because he is Matt's son...more Jeremy slacking and coasting off Matt's coattails.

Jeremy will be in deep trouble when the day finally comes when he needs to earn something on his own that Matt didn't arrange for him.

Peter said...

I doubt Jeremy is doing anything career wise. It's another free trip to do fun things.

I'm sure it was as much of a business trip as the 7 day cruise was a *mission for Haiti*.

What does everything have in common? It's all play for the Jer Bear.

Carol said...

Yeah, seriously. How fast life can change? Except for growing into his Himbo role on the show, Jeremy has been in quick-sand for the last five years.

tay said...

don't be cynical people. maybe jeremy has decided to get into the private yachting business like the couple in the bahamas. maybe the trip has helped jeremy decided on his career and future.

Brandon said...

Oh tay, you're crazy. Jeremy live without Mueller and the buds? That's not going to happen. Jeremy is like a little child that needs his security blanket.

Why would you think Jeremy is remotely qualified for something like that? Because he spun the wheel with the capatain watching? Because Matt and Jeremy tell us how talented he is?

Heheh I am more amused at how no one seems to keep their story straight. Take a look at the origanal facebook comment:

"Matt Roloff = A friend with a big boat down in the Caribbean Just asked if i wanted to come aboard and sail around a few days.. Very tempting since I'll be on the East coast doing a speaking event later this week. ...Then 4 days later I have to be back East in NC"

So now apparently this sudden, unplanned vacation was a business trip? Really?

" Crazy itinerary. Fly to Denver, then Peoria (speech) Goto Chicago, then Meeting in Newark. South to San Juan PR, then Tortola BVI. High speed ferry to remote island. Relax for 4 days on boat..then continue my business leg back to Beef Island..then San Juan.. on to Washington DC then Raleigh NC."

So he's doing speaking engagements.... and then relaxing for four days, and then doing more speaking engagements...

And now this completely unplanned trip he wasn't even planning to go on is in fact a high powered business trip?

That's before I get into "friends" handing over private boats so casually :)

Am I the only one noticing how Matt's spelling and tone is really hit and miss? I've assumed for some time that a number of his facebook posts were his staff.

I have to agree with Brandon on the yacht thing, Tay - although I agree that the "Jeremy can't bear to do anything by himself" issue is a factor, its not actually my only reason for doubting Jer's future as a Caribbean Yacht Tour captain.

It's not a cheap business to get a start in.

Its easy to learn the basics of sailing. Its hard to make money at it. It also involves a great deal of discipline and hard work. I know, I know, Jeremy vacationed and was praised by the guy who was getting paid to take him around the islands for holding the wheel... but really, would you give Jeremy a small business loan based on that? Really?

The more important factor is something I simply haven't seen in Jeremy. He vacations well... but could he, on a day to day basis, handle doing the same old, same old? Every week, smiling and explaining to bored teens how to hold the wheel, and listening to their parents ooh and ah the same islands over and over?

Besides, isn't Jer-Bear proudly showing us how he'll soar as a pilot? And play pro soccer? While getting a degree in mechanical engineering and of course dazzling us with his mad photographic skillz?

While modeling?

Oh wait... what Jeremy really is doing is vacationing with Daddy because he's not working and resting up from his grueling year of being a part time college student...

-Zach would argue and complain. Molly is proving herself to be disloyal to Matt and Jacob is hard to deal with at the best of time when it's nothing but fun.-

Why do people think Matt's a good father when three out of four of the children are difficult, disloyal and arguementative?

Jocelynn said...

Rap, I don't think Matt's story has changed. I don't believe the "I happened to have a friend with a yacht" either, but I don't think the basics of his story has changed.

As I understood it, he was saying he had certain business meetings planned and had the vacation stops planned in between. One or two stops might have changed or maybe he didn't mention them, but I don't think it's that big of a detour from the original story. Done with the BVIs, then to D.C. and then to NC.

Jocelynn said...

I have noticed the spelling and typing of the Facebook posts too Rap, and have wondered the same. A lot of them have had the broken thoughts ... and onto another subject. That's more what someone would do when they're relaying a message.

Rap541 said...

Jocelynn - I just don't buy the business meeting *in the BVIs* when he theoretically wasn't going at all until last minute.

The thing I find different about the facebook posts is that some posts are very articulate (look at the "oh wow the LPA honored me" one) and then others are almost disjointed, unrelated sentences. I assume someone does some of these for him.

Carol said...

Matt is waiting for Jeremy's flight? Where was Jeremy? Surely he didn't fly home for a day? Jeremy was by himself somewhere? No way! I refuse to believe it!

Greg said...

"Who would have thought that a few days on a friends boat would turn into such a productive and rewarding time."

Uh...me? It's a free vacation from that "friend"...a yacht around the BVI's...and it was a rewarding time? That's a shock? A free vacation offered by somebody with a yacht turned into a rewarding and good time.

Dana said...

I hope Matt and Jeremy have a great and safe time on whatever adventure they are pursuing now.

Christine said...

I think Matt tries hard to make it sound like Jeremy is actually doing something to hide the fact that is highly touted son is a 20 year old with no ambition, who apparently only takes cc classes "for show" and spends all his time playing like he was a child. Matt needs to spin hard to make it sound like Jeremy is doing something.

BeckyM said...

So enlighten me, what is Matt's "job"? Just public speaking right? And pumpkin season (which seems to be managed by others) once a year?

I've never bought this spiel of Matt as successful businessman. Watching the show there is nothing there that would indicate it (i.e. meeetings, phone calls, conference calls, no time for vacations etc...)

Expressed said...

Becky, Matt said he was a successful business man/salesman in computer software before the show and that's how they made money.

I agree obviously they got *really* rich off the show, but other than the time in the book where they said they almost needed to sell the farm and when Amy's parents paid for Zach's braces, I think they did ok.

All 4 kids were in Faith Bible and people that are hurting for money don't have 4 kids in expensive private school.

In the second season, Matt briefly got a job as a salesman but that disappeared without anymore talk about it. There was something about Matt filing a lawsuit about wrongful dismissal and claiming discrimination, but I'm not sure if it was that job or something before the show.

Now I think where Matt makes the money and where he is busy in business is that he is CEO of R6 Productions. That's the production company Matt formed and where TLC sends all the money (except now, I'm guessing Jeremy and Zach get their money in their own accounts now). R6 Production is where people booking Matt for speaking engagements are told to make their checks out to. The Roloff merchandise too. There's the DAS stool accessbility company too. That's Matt's businesses now. Things from the show and his public (and private) speaking.

The software sales job came before the show.

BeckyM said...

Expressed - yes I heard about the "computer software" but have never heard of the name of the softare he produced OR the company he produced it under. As far as I know the name has NEVER been mentioned - nor what "field" it was produced for.

Not to be a smart-aleck, but my husband has been a computer programmer for over 20 years, has a BS and a Masters in Computer Science and Mathmatics, and is high in seniority in his co. It is doubtful that Matt had the level of education or knowledge that he could produce something that sold for enough money that set him up for life.

I find it VERY suspicious when Matt's 'resume' doesn't give details on this award winning software he wrote. Sounds like padding to me...

I just don't buy it. And won't until I hear the name of the software or what company he sold it too.

Expressed said...

Becky, I don't know the name either. I have wondered too because of some little comments Matt has made, he's not very up on technology, but I've always let that go because Matt didn't design the computer software, he was just the salesman.

Remember Matt said he was just the salesman for the software company, he didn't actually design the software.

Sales people just do their pitch and they really don't need to be an expert in that field. Some salesman could sell any product.

Brandon said...

I agree Expressed. Matt can sell anything. He has successfully sold this image that his twins are sweet Christian boys in the woods building forts, roasting marshmallows and drinking koolaid, when really they were using ever slur in the book and having friends with drug and alcohol problems end up dead.

Then there is the whole thing of Matt and TLC successfully selling the image that the Roloffs care about diversity and acceptance when it is clear over and over that they only really push diversity when it's about themselves and their own group.

BeckyM said...

Definitely the image that the show projects is that Matt is a businessman who created a "product" which he sold. Not that he was salesman selling someone else's product (that equals "employee").

Yeah I agree that Matt is the "sucker born every minute" salesman type.

Greg said...

"Update everyone in a way I've never done before..."

Michelle said...

cathelitou said...

Like michelle said, me too I don't see it! I think when the credit start and we see a picture of young matt in the hospital, he looks more like jacob than in this picture

Brandon said...

Haha, oh sure...Matt is insisting now that he's afraid of heights...just after people here pointed out that discrepancy from the video to the show.

Brandon said...

PS, I agree with Rap about "Matt's" written updates. I think someone else is doing them.

Doesn't anybody remember Matt's own typing on the TLC board years ago or even in his first couple of Facebook posts?

Now his posts have ... like someone is summarazing and even words are being hyphenated...Matt doesn't hyphenate words when he types!

Ashley said...

What is an autozone show?

Brandon said...

I love how Matt never comes right out and says the truth.

Oh we love the product and they just happened to ask us to share our opinion...

Craw said...

I say go Matt and Jeremy. Get as many free stuff as you can get. Nothing wrong with that. The company obviously is happy with the deal.

Anonymous said...

Matt (and Jeremy) have no shame.

David said...

The grease informerical is the real reason why Matt has his Facebook page (other than being told to do it by TLC).

Anyone that thinks Matt does his Facebook page to be "nice" to fans is incredibly naive.

Mad Greek Deli, the grease product, how many free things can Matt and Jeremy accumulate by using his Facebook page as a billboard.

Timothy said...

I expect Sheri, Dana, Judy and the other Matt and Jeremy fans to come running in here saying this is proof of why Matt and Jeremy are great Christians and so talented and succesful. :)

Diane said...

So Jeremy is officially pitching a product? Mr. "I'm not a celebrity that's why I ignore (and insult!) the fans every day of my life.

I'll tell everyone I know not to buy that product!

Dana said...

Nothing wrong with Matt and Jeremy accepting endorsement offers of products they use.

Greg said...

The Facebook comments make me howl. What are wrong with some of those people??

"Just another thing to be proud of Matt. Thanks!"

"Thanks Jer!"

Pride? Having people thank them? Because they are selling products? Oh my.

Craig said...

Haha they fell in love with this product? id say money had something to do with their new found love for grease.

Anonymous said...

Hahaha thats the best endorsement deal they could get?

The corporate world sure is banging down the doors for Jeremy and Matt to endorse their products! HAHAHAHAHA

Ever see the Simpsons episode where Homer and Bart start selling grease? LOLS!

Can you imagine what the commercials will look like? :D :D :D

David said...

Greg, I couldn't agree more Re: Matt's facebook fans.

Are they robots? Can people really be that starstruck? Are they mentally challenged?

It's a celebrity being paid to pitch a product (along with the incentive of free merchandise). Nothing more.

Yet some of those people..."That's great Matt. I'll pass it on.". "Matt come to the Auto Zone in my city, I would love for you to show me how it works..."I can't wait for the episode about it..."

What is wrong with people?

I fear for society sometimes...

Brandon said...

I can see Jeremy's commercial now :)

Green grease is the most amazing grease ever! Ever since I was 4 years old, I have dreamed about using Green Grease."

(Shadow, you should get a cut of Jeremy's money from commercial!)

Carol said...

Brandon, wanna bet that good ol' Jer will be "working" shirtless for this commercial?

This is my suggestion/prediction for the commercial.

[First Scene] A shirtless Jeremy working on the engine of his BMW (hey we actually have already seen that scene in an episode when Jeremy couldn't get the transmission out of his truck). Jeremy looks frustrated. Jeremy says out loud - "I wish I had good grease!"

[Second Scene] Matt rides by on his scooter. "SON! There is a solution to your problems! It is called GREEN GREASE (holds the bottle up, camera zooms in for close up shot). "It is the best grease ever!"

[Third Scene] Jeremy: "Thanks dad!"

[Fourth scene] Both Matt and Jeremy holding cans of Green Grease and speak into the camera "We- are-Roloffs-and-we-always-use-Green Grease-on- all-of-our-vehicles-and-equipment. You-should-too!"

Expressed said...

The best season of LPBW yet? They all say that, lol.

Sad to say, but the show will never come close to matching what it was in the beginning.

Brandon said...

Oh boy-- Facebook doesn't believe this page is REALLY me! They say if I don't authenticate my fan page it will be taken down within a week. I've ran through the options they give... but noting seems to work. It this page disappears.. at least you'll know why. Crazy stuff.

Another low even for Matt. What a lie! Facebook doesn't even delete fake pages most of the time.

He obviously is getting bored and telling another ridiculous lie.

David said...

Matt doesn't even know what the truth is.

Mean Facebook deleting but won't let him authenticate? Likely story Matt...

Rap541 said...

Yeah um... really? Not buying it.

I assume this is a whine where Matt wants everyone to clap their hands so he will stay and "not be deleted by meanie Facebook".

Who wants to bet he is looking for about 1k posts before Facebook miraculously doesn't delete him? ;)

Timothy said...

I wonder if the real story (since everyone knows Matt lies) TLC is telling to delete since he uses it as a personal billboard to sell merchandise that has nothing to do with the show.

TLC did tell him to do Facebook or twitter in the first place. Remember that? It wasn't because Matt suddenly cared about his fans after four years. It was TLC telling him to do it.

Sheri said...

You don't know Matt is lying. Don't accuse him of lying.

Susan said...

I think Matt is a compulsive liar. He calls it being a salesman. Other people call it lying.

Brandon said...

Rap, you think it's a "please stay Matt" ploy to get more posts and he will stay?

I disagree. I think he will leave and this will be his "reason". He can't say he's bored and doesn't want to do it because his naive FB fans think he genuinely cares for them.

If it's the show deciding they don't want the Facebook page because they are Nazi like about information (the BVI trip, the skydiving) he wouldn't say that either. This is an excuse, imo.

BTW, gee didn't Matt say the Army golden knights were fixing something in their skydiving video but it would be back up? But it's still not back up....gee what is taking so long to "fix"?

It's a good job Matt doesn't wear one of those electro wrist bands/lie detectors that beep everytime he tells a lie. He would noisier than a heavy metal band!

Carol said...

I think Matt gets his jollies out of making a fool of fans by getting them to jump whenever he says.

Kind of like making it seem like he had heart attack...The Roloff family have zero morals.

Rap541 said...

Brandon, it certainly could be Matt getting bored and quitting and blaming it all on evil meanie Facebook. And really who here honestly believes Facebook is seriously going after Matt Roloff for not actually being Matt Roloff?Really a phone call clears up the mystery and facebook has already gotte enough bad press without trashing a handicapped man's account?

Really?

...

Really?

No.

I think yes, perhaps Matt has, as his show and his website shows, gotten bored and wants out. But in fairness, I really do think Matt's problems with Facebook will be solved if enough of his fans kiss his ass.

You know... lots of people whining and crying how sad they will be. Either Matt goes down in the next 48hours confirming his supposed story, or else he somehow miraculaosly had enough hands clapping like Tinkerbell and Dr Who to stay on Facebook.

Rap541 said...

Oh and hey, since a certain element won't believe a reasonable arguement, let me explain.

If Matt and Amy do appearences for TLC (and we know they do) then they have an agent, possibly two, who handle media issues for them. If Matt and his staff (and we know he has staff as he has actually referenced them ON facebook) can't figure out how to validate a facebook fan account, all they have to do is contact Matt's agent, or TLC, and have the account verified.

So its pretty unlikely that Poor Matt has NO idea how to solve this dilemna :)

I mean, he's the big star and I am just the jealous hater who knows *nothing* and yet hmmm.... ;)

Erica said...

If Matt's Facebook closes for this poor excuse of a reason, what will be Matt's excuse for not continuing on twitter (his facebook is linked to twitter) or starting another Facebook?

Roxanne said...

Other celebrities I follow on Facebook fan pages aren't saying facebook is going after them and trying to delete their accounts and not let them verify.

Whoever thought of this excuse didn't think it through very well.

Dana said...

See Matt was telling the truth and everyone except for Sheri was calling him a liar.

Do you really think he made up those instructions from FaceBook? People owe Matt an apology.

Rap541 said...

Honestly? Yeah. I think he's making it up. I certainly think he's playing "ohnoes, everyone pity poor poor matt" games.

See above. Matt certainly has a media agent. Facebook certainly likes celebrities on facebook.

And if the comments from facebook are legit, Dana, then it is childishly easy for Matt to authenticate his fan facebook page. He *has* an official website, and an email address there.

Where's the fire? Where is the crisis? He has three weeks to do a five minute process.

Who wants to bet this crisis is magically averted right at the last minute? :)

Again, after Matt has gotten his quota of "No! Don't let the mean facebook people silence you!" of course ;)

Brandon said...

So that's what it was....a plug for his website.

Wow, good thing Matt had this great "Facebook crisis" just in time for him to launch his new updated website"...wow what curious timing.

Roloffs have mastered the art of lying.

Carol said...

Typical Matt Roloff. So deceitful.

Ashely said...

I think he's obviously just trying to get all his facebook followers to use his website. His "online store" is on his website.

Telling them to use it didn't work. Now he's trying to scare them into using by saying facebook are meanies.

Dana said...

I am glad Matt said that about people that accuse him of lying to get attention and publicity are idiots and ignorant.

That's how I feel reading some of these comments about Matt and Jeremy. Matt doesn't need MORE attention. He already gets it.

People had been asking Matt to do something via social networking for fans and he does it for the fans because he cares. For that he gets accused of lying and seeking publicity.

I'm glad he called the person and people who think similar things idiots and ignorant.

Brandon said...

Dana, when will you wise up. Just because Matt says something isn't a lie, doesn't make it true.

Use the your brain. The whole story is ridiculous. I don't notice any other celebrity fan pages being targeted by mean Facebook that won't allow him to authenticate the account at all.

If there was a real problem, why not simply start a new Facebook page? But no, instead it's a way for him to direct people to his website where he has full control of everything and his store merchandise to sell people stuff so the Roloffs can make more money is all right there in everyone's face.

Rap541 said...

Well, lets see.... a website plug. A crisis, right before the new season, and a plug for Matt's new website. (Btw, aside from some new photos, and a fresh look, not really any new content, but it looks nice. And has direct links to the Facebook)

Hmmm. Really?

Really? Just seems a tad off that just like last year, right about two weeks before the new season - Oct 1st, to reference Matt's twitter - there was a crisis that was narrowly averted!

Funny how the timing is perfect like that. That Matt's NEW website is available just *in the nick of time to stop the tears!*

Oh Matt, you're such a fighter! :)

Ok folks, let's step back from the emotional chain yank for a moment. Here's why it's an attention ploy and website plug.

If they geniunely put on his wall that he had three weeks to authenticate the account, see my previous comments.

Facebook isn't in the business of shutting down popular accounts. Popular accounts mean more hits. Thats more advertising and more money. They want accounts that get lots of hits.

Facebook does not have an agenda against Christians or little people. There are MANY out and loud Christians on facebook.

If we take Matt at face value, Facebook is not asking him for the blood of his first born.An email (that can be kept private and a link to his official site? I mean, does anyone really believe Matt, who used to design *software*, doesn't have email? Or an official site? Or staff who maintain the official site? Named Eric?

Oh and look, Matt is a fighter and magically revamped his website to avert this crisis (something actually unnecessary since adding a link doesn't actually require a massive redesign) at the last minute? FOR THE FANS!

Right. Thats why the welcome to our new site page is dated July 14, 2010.

http://therolofffamily.com/family/news/archives/5

I have a screen shot if someone (the admin who can't help Matt with Facebook perhaps) realizes this doesn't back up Matt's lil story of how he "got 'er done!" for the fans.

Really? He couldn't avoid whipping up the fans with "Ohnoes! Crisis!"? I mean I really can't help but wonder what's wrong with this guy - we know the Twitter, Oct 1st "Ohnoes! We're gonna be shut down!" didn't actually happen in that time frame - per his own show, it was about a week before the season opened, not the day before, and *not* a complete surprise.

We know he personally knew his show finale was ending with his collapse and somehow his facebook comments were taken down for "security" the same night and nary a word despite people supposedly asking if he was dead. And now this little three day saga that in all honesty? Did it need to happen, really? Whether or not I agree with the sentiment, some people on Matt's facebook were clearly upset. I personally suspect Matt and family have been laughing their butts off at the fans and having a good jolly time at their expense while getting some nice plugs in for the new website?

And no, I didn't send Matt a private message and will happily provide Spirit with my facebook name if necessary.

I respectfully suggest the Christian crowd practices what they preach, and tell Matt to stop namecalling and turn his anger to Christ, instead of endorsing his little fit.

Really, if he didn't want attention of this, if this was all about sharing with the fans... why would he post this whole little saga? How - based on how easily the fans get upset - could he not see this leading to fans freaking out?

We know he personally knew his show finale was ending with his collapse and somehow his facebook comments were taken down for "security" the same night and nary a word despite people supposedly asking if he was dead. And now this little three day saga that in all honesty? Did it need to happen, really? Whether or not I agree with the sentiment, some people on Matt's facebook were clearly upset. I personally suspect Matt and family have been laughing their butts off at the fans and having a good jolly time at their expense while getting some nice plugs in for the new website?

I respectfully suggest the Christian crowd practices what they preach, and tell Matt to stop namecalling and turn his anger to Christ, instead of endorsing his little fit.

Really, if he didn't want attention of this, if this was all about sharing with the fans... why would he post this whole little saga? How - based on how easily the fans get upset - could he not see this leading to fans freaking out?

Sheri said...

Rap, you are off your rocker. You make no sense. At all!

You think you are some kind of super sleuth needing to take screen shots like you're uncovering a mystery scandal. I think you're legitimately crazy.

I have no idea what the heck you think your point is.

They are updating the website. They are still working out the kinks. If you think the new website was up since July, then if you think Matt is inventing his problems with Facebook, how come he didn't say this in July?

If you can read which obviously is difficult for you, Matt stated that Facebook requires his private email from his website and he refuses to give out his private personal email, yet facebook won't let him complete the form unless he agrees with their condition to let them publish his email which is his private email.

Brandon said...

Sheri, I think Matt is the one that has problems...

He would lose faith in humanity if everybody doubted that Matt Roloff always tells the truth?

Hello! Matt himself and his entire family laughs and giggles how Matt is such a "salesman" and snows everybody....do you know what that really means? It's a cute way of saying that he lies to people to get what he wants. His whole family says he does that. Matt himself brags about it.

But humanity is horrible when people actually use their brains and doubt Matt's far fetched, self-serving stories? Matt has been caught in lies numerous times.

Rap541 said...

Sheri - they've had the website ready to go for sometime.

I have a facebook. I rarely use it. But all you have to do to avoid people accessing your private email is make your settings private.

Or establish a secondary email just for facebook - which isn't hard at all and was suggested by MANY of the fans.

I don't think it is a mystery scandal, I just think anyone with a tiny amount of sense can solve this particular problem without whipping his fan base into a frenzy. He doesn't want attention but he can't possibly resolve this rather small problem without declaring a public crisis? Really?

He doesn't have a tech specialist? For his website? Who, like his fans, should be able to figure out how easy it is to set up an email for facebook to contact him at?

Hey, while we're on the topic - can anyone tell me how it is possible to send Matt a private message on Facebook when he has no contact info and no "send message" link? I admit, Facebook isn't my preference but when Matt said he got two private messages... I'd really like to know how.

Oh and Sheri - I take screenshots because Matt often changes the newsletters and website to reflect the current story he is telling.

Rap541 said...

Brandon, don't get me started on how Matt gets the free pass from Sheri to not turn his anger to Jesus. :)

And to be perfectly fair, I checked with a more techie friend who showed me how to search personal pages so if you're willing to send messages to all the fake matt roloff's on facebook.... I guess you might hit one. Personally I don't have time for that - gearing up for fun here.

I still don't see why he's posting about an obvious internal issue thats easily resolved. I mean really, who here thinks Facebook wants the bad press? Really? They're against Matt? They like seeing several hundred posters railing how stupid and dumb Facebook is? Matt had to turn this into mean unreasonable Facebook, poor poor Matt, what will he do?

I mean honestly, if Facebook is actually doing this... does anyone think Facebook is being unreasonable?

Expressed said...

I think Matt's story kinda seems fishy, Rap, but here is what I think he is saying about the email. It's not the same as you or me or a regular facebook account.

He is saying facebook wants to confirm he is the real celebrity and not a fake. They want confirmation from his website. I don't really get this part of it. Why not just put the link to his facebook page on both his old website and the new one? I'm sure it would work on the old one...

Anyways, he explained that he can't do what all the fans are suggesting and creat a yahoo or hotmail account just for facebook. The whole reason why facebook is supposedly doing this is to make sure it is the real celebrity. They want it attached to the official website. That part of what Matt is saying makes sense. He says when he uses a yahoo address it tells him it's not linked to his official site. That makes sense.

Yeah, you kind of figured it out now, but as for sending messages, you can't from Matt's fan page, but if you do a people search and know which one is the real Matt, you can send a message to him that way so that's how Matt could have gotten a personal message.

Em said...

Everytime I go to Matt's site with the new layout, it freezes up my whole computer! It comes up, then it is waiting, then I can't even close out. It's done it 4 times tonight! Only on Matt's site.

David said...

I believe the reason why Matt wants his Facebook fans to follow him to his own website is because of what else...money.

Matt sells the banners on his website. Sponsors pay money. The more traffic he gets, the more sponsors he gets, the more they'll pay and more money in the pocket of the Roloffs.

I think anyone that ever takes Matt at his word is a fool.

Cindy said...

Em, the same thing happened to me on the Rolofffamily website. When I scrolled to the bottom, I got the dreaded hour glass. I needed to ctrl alt delete to get free again.

Rap541 said...

Expressed - I happily concede I am not a techie, but one of the nice things about having your own domain like Matt does. (www.mattroloff.com) is the ability to set up email addresses in that name. Like say "mattfacebook@mattroloff.com".

That's how Matt avoids giving out his *personal* email to facebook. Also, he can set his settings to private, like people do all the times, and not give out his email address.

Or he can ask other public figures what they do, or have his agent do that. This is neither hard nor unreasonable on Facebook's part. Facebook gains nothing from Matt publically railing on Facebook how unreasonable Facebook is being. The reason Facebook wants an email linked to his site is so they don't get screwed by a fake. Gosh, thats unfair? Unfair to the point that Matt has "poor poor put upon me" posts over how they're just itching to take him down?

I'm serious. Who thinks Facebook really enjoys getting all the bad press over Matt needing to conform to their policies? Who thinks Facebook thinks Matt's public comments on how difficult they are being in any way is a good thing for Facebook?

I'm no Facebook fan... but as I said previously, they aren't in this business to drive away popular famous people who get the site hits.

Just saying... said...

I do know that Facebook doesn't allow a hotmail or Yahoo account anymore. because free email accounts are notorious for spamming. I was not able to link it to my free account; only an email address they considered legit.

I still think Matt could get it done though.

Re: Matt loving to meet the people on the tours, I notice Matt neglects to mention that he charges $300.

Funny how he likes doing something when he is charging $100 for 10 minutues.

Susan said...

The tour arrangement and fee really throws a wrench into the Roloffs' old claim that they didn't do the show for money or fame or that they aren't celebrities...

The Roloff family would be much easier to not have ill feelings for if they were just honest.

They do the show for money, they love the fame and they are out to make every $ they possibily can. Just admit it.

Janelle said...

What they charge for those tours still make me sick.

It is so friggin greedy it's disgusting. Yeah, yeah, I know they can charge what they want and and if suckers are willing to pay, but according to my own morals, it is WRONG WRONG WRONG.

How the Roloffs can claim they are living for God when they go to these extremes that show their greed is beyond my comprehension.

I would not pay $300 to anyone for the supposed privilege of having them talk to me. The Roloffs think they're so special. I could never imagine charging people that much money even if there were people that wanted to meet me.

Kimberly said...

Why isn't Matt upfront and honest about the enormous cost of the tours? People think Matt is inviting them because he really enjoys meeting fans. He just wants their money but they don't realize.

Matt has taught the kids how to be greedy and that they're better than normal people. You can see it the most in Jeremy.

Brandon said...

If that's true about the private tour demand then that just makes me weep for humanity!

Do they know yet that they charge $300?

$300 to have people talk to you. Sad. Sad. Sad.

Even sadder that the Roloffs think they're this special.

David said...

Brandon, shame on you! You're smarter than that.

I don't believe it.

It is just a way for Matt to advertise pumpkin season and have people feel grateful for the $6 tour charge for the normal wagon tours during the season.

That's all it is, in my opinion. It's a plug for the wagon tours. Part of marketing is always making it seem like there is a demand for something.

Rap541 said...

I honestly have doubts on Matt pulling in this many tours. I have circumstancial evidence.... it would hold up in civil court but not criminal, lets say.

1. There's a recession on. Honestly, 300 dollars is a lot of money for people right now. That's a LOT of money to spend on a half hour personal tour for the average family.

2. If the average family lives in driving distance of Roloff Farms...there's not many families I know that would spend 300 dollars on a tour that they could get in October for much less.

3. The average middle class family who doesn't live within driving distance would need to fly in to Portland and potentially spend at least one night. Now, Roloffs, and nice, artsy liberal city aside, the Portland area doesn't scream family vacation.

4. Since Matt announced these private tours, have we seen that many people bragging about actually going on the tour? I've seen... I think, three seperate satisfied customers in what? A year? I think it's been more than a year, and I actually think its only been two seperate families... but I am trying really hard to be fair. Assume that one in four people who go on the tour say something online. That would make 12 tours total in the last year...

So twenty tours in a week seems a bit surprising.

On the other hand... you also need to stop and consider all the facts.

20 tours a week is - including breaks, and a generous lunch hour - three days of work for one person. (and I am being very generous. My assumption is that each tour is exactly one half hour IN the Mule, so realistically, a half hour tour would take a worker a full hour of time... the tour itself and fifteen minutes at each end to meet and greet and say goodbye. So assuming breaks and lunch and an eight hour work day, one person could do 20 tours in 2 and a half days of work)

There's four adults in the Roloff home. Molly and Jake probably can't be covered to do tours on their own (because they're not adults)

Matt and Amy have jobs that frankly seem to have some loose hours. While Zach is working, I frankly doubt he's working full time.

And Jeremy needs to play so of course he can't be expected to not play Fugitive or wakeboard. I mean... that 2 and a half of days of work would ONLY be the equivalent of 6k a week and its more important for manchild Jer-Bear to get his playtime. He's a 20 year old baby after all :)

Sheri said...

Hear that naysayers?

Jeremy and Zach are taking charge and inking deals on their own.

What do the naysayers have to say now that they're covered in crow?

David said...

Get with it Sheri. Just because Matt says something doesn't mean it's true. It probably means it's not true if Matt says it.

He knows most people really feel Jeremy and Zach are lazy, unprepared pathetic 20 year olds that are milking being on a reality show.

Matt to the rescue. It doesn't make Matt look good to have people say his 20 year old twins are lazy spoiled slugs. Matt tries to repair that image by talking about unnamed "deals" the twins are making.

ETA: "Inking" their name literally means signing their own name. Jeremy and Zach MIGHT be able to handle that...if Amy and Molly were coaching them.

Rap541 said...

Didn't Matt also say like two years ago that Jeremy was pursuing his dreams of flight? :)

I'd be more impressed if Matt would let his 20 year old adult sons speak for themselves on what deals they are inking.

See, it's the lack of details and the whole desperate need Matt has to impress that makes me think the big boys probably had Daddy Matt arrange the deal, drive them to the office, and hand them the pens to ink "their own deals".

I mean, they're big enough to do this? But Daddy still can't trust them to speak for themselves? How Matt trusts them! :)

And these deals are? I mean... If I recall, Matt *said* the *Grasshogs* were invited to an elite soccer tournement last year... but in fact, the World Dwarf Games were open to anyone who showed up and Zach's team was mostly Marty's team... and the Dwarf Games were not actually an exclusive soccer tournement, and the team wasn't really that into soccer....

Timothy said...

That's a great point about Jeremy and Zach not being trusted to speak for themselves.

Matt can make as many empty statements void of details as he wishes about how proud he is of Jeremy and Zach for setting the world on fire, but the thing that speaks the loudest is that they are not trust to speak on their own.

I honestly think the reason is because Zach is too honest and would blow the Christian image apart and Jeremy would sound too fake and phony he would be laughed at or he would get comfortable, be himself and end up offending half the world again.

They don't trust the twenty year old adults. They are kept with their mouths wired shut so they don't screw things up again.

Expressed said...

Details would be nice Matt! :)

Making and Inking their own deals...?

What could that really be?

Just renewing their own contracts with TLC?

A spin off show?

Something with Jeremy buying another car and doing it on his own?

Another grease advertising deal, but with both Jeremy and Zach pitching what the product is?

Since he says it is "Jeremy and Zach" it makes me think it's something with the show. It could be as simple as them arranging their own tours and stuff like that.

As one of the "poor" fans, I think I will wait until I know what it is before I applaud.

I like Matt, but the bad part about him is he can say stuff like this and knows he never needs to come back to it. If it's a lie or doesn't pan out, he just doesn't mention it again and ignores questions about it and eventually people forget about it.

Ashley said...

I don't know if I like that they Roloffs have "shenanigans" ready for season six. That sounds like more staged stuff and acting for the camera.

The first season was my favorite because it didn't seem like the Roloffs were trying to creat shenanigans to be entertaining.

Rap541 said...

Now that Spirit has posted a link, will Matt's video mysteriously disappear?

I'm more amused by the fans who misunderstand the difference between "CHarlie Manson" and "Charlie Manson's prison guard".

Lynn said...

Rap, I don't think many people misunderstood between Charles Manson and a prison guard that looks after Charles Manson. The subject of having a job taking care of Charles Manson leads to discussion about what people think of Charles Manson.

Expressed said...

That must be Jeremy in the background that they're filming in the picture of Matt in the beekeeper suit.

At least Jeremy has protection from the bees this time :)

Brandon said...

I don't get this whole beekeeping thing. It's such a cooky idea and obviously only done to give them some crazy story line.

Dana said...

I think Zach should look more interested. Matt could do these presentations with Jeremy too. Maybe they did their BVI and sky diving trip when Matt had his meetings. Jeremy could talk about what it's like to have LP parents. I think Jeremy would interact better with Matt than Zach.

Anonymous said...

Why would anyone want to listen to Jeremy talk about having lp parents?

They're just like everyone else, right? And they're rich, so what does Jeremy have to say?

He's not even their only average height kid and its not like they raised him in a circus freakshow. Why would anyone want to hear how Jeremy lives as an upper class priveledged average height child?

What's interesting about that?

Dana said...

Jeremy is at youth group :) Pay attention people. I'm glad the other two boys are spending time with Matt, but I think they would be well served by youth group. They need it more than Jeremy.

Justin said...

Isn't Jeremy a little old for youth group? He's not even a teenager anymore.

I wish they would give up on trying to make Jeremy out to be some Godly saint. Anybody with a brain knows he's not so sweet and not so innocent.

JimW said...

Matt Roloff is a trooper. He had a good time with Zach and Jacob? He is a better man than I. You couldn't pay me to sit in a theater with Jacob.

Linton said...

Jeremy at "youth group" is probably code for Jeremy is out getting drunk ;) LOL!

No....sweet innocent Christian Jeremy would NEVER do something bad like that. No way! LOL!

Deb said...

Matt must be a tunnel. Another one?

Brandon said...

Deb, either that or it's in the story line cheat sheet for him to talk about his demise (death) likes it's going to happen any minute again.

I can see it now. For the next two years Matt is going to be milking the "I will probably die tomorrow" shtick....

Rap541 said...

Heheh Brandon. More likely he's going to dramatically have his facebook taken down this weekend, and it will magically come back up *just before* the show's season premiere complete with a story on how Matt whupped Facebook's ass.

Its just a theory... I'm curious to see if it plays out.

Brandon said...

Good thought, Rap. I almost forgot about the "Facebook is picking on me" angle Matt has been talking about.

Rap541 said...

Really? No video message until you have 20k fans?

And yet you insist you aren't seeking attention? :)

Hey Matt, maybe if you as the executive producer allow another hack job of editing where your "fainting spell" that you had in June is presented after you spend a whole lotta time telling the camera your *death plans* and how no one cares if you die.... maybe next time you'll make CNN. :)

He's seeing how many people will dance for him. How charming... not!

Chris said...

Wait, Matt had a family dinner? In Oregon?

What happened to the Cruise with Matt Roloff for "Stop Stressing Now"? It was supposed to be Aug 27 to Sept 3.

Was that cancelled on him too? Matt seems to be having a hard time with that happening to him lately...

Melissa said...

Yeah, why didn't Matt goes on the cruise? He did promotion for it.

Shadow said...

About that cruise...the original promotion reads, in part, "This year we embark on a new adventure of excitement, beauty and inner peace as we journey to Alaska with some of the most interesting seminar speakers you’ll ever meet.

Amazing Keynote Speakers Like:

Matt Roloff – from TLC’s Hit Reality Show – “Little People Big World.”

So I guess they could technically claim they never PROMISED Matt would be a speaker, just someone LIKE him. Suppose they couldn't come up with enuf bucks/freebies to make it worth his while.

BTW, if you look at the tags he associates with this entry, about HALF of them are roloff references, so he's obviously trying to cash in on the connection, whether or not Matt ever intended to be a speaker. Nothing on the site ever says anything about Matt not showing up, so hope no one who actually signed up actually expects to see Matt on board, or they might get really stressed. LOL...

Debbie said...

So they aren't filming pumpkin season this year? It sounds to me like when TLC sent the orders to cancel they gave them orders to get out in 2 weeks. You'd think this was removing the troops from Iraq or something!

Justin said...

How can Matt talk about returning to a sense of normalcy when he can't stop hinting that they are desperate to keep the attention on them?

Timothy said...

He didn't reach 20000 fans sooner than expected. I remember fans predicting it would be 20,000 by sept 6th.

Jocelynn said...

Hmm. Why are some of the crew hanging around until December to do voice overs and stuff like that? If they are only doing 20 episodes, the show should stop airing around December or even November at this pace unless they skip weeks or go to a single episode a week. What voice over work is there to do if the show has finished airing?

Peter said...

Timothy, Matt predicted during one of his on-line chats that he would reach 20k facebook fans by end of season 6. The "fans", not Matt predicted sooner. I was on that chat and heard it firsthand.

Timothy said...

Peter, not the posts and predictions that I read. I believe one was by a Tom Summerville. The prediction was it would be at 20,000 by the night of the premiere.

When Matt did this whole "20,000" thing, he was only a few thousand away and had been increasingly steadily.

Greg said...

Matt's goal of slowing down? He is incapable of being straight forward.

Networks execs are flying to the farm again? That makes two times in the last few months. Want to bet the last time, despite Matt's happy postings, were about them thinking about cancelling or the slashed travel budget Spirits wrote about?

Matt tries so hard to put a positive spin on everything in a way that makes him look as good and as successful as possible.

Jason said...

If anyone had any doubt the real reason why the Roloffs did the show, this proves it.

LP awarness my butt.

The Roloffs are media whores. They need the fame and attention and money. They are so desperate to get attention it's pathetic. Matt can't work hard enough to try to keep the fame train rolling longer.

Gee whiz Matt, what happened to "the family" can't wait to get back to normal life that you kept on trotting out since season one?

Nothing is worse than reality tv stars that think they are big stars and desperately try to keep their 15 minutes of fame going.

Timothy said...

How can anyone like a person like Matt's facebook? He is so fake. Has he ever said he had a bad day? Ever been disappointed? You know, real life?

No, according to Matt's fb, everyday is smooth sailing for him. Every day is great, he's the most successful and in demand person in the world, the kids are always setting new standards for the bestest kids in the world.

It's so fake. Gawd. I can see why Matt said he would like to be a politician.

Rap541 said...

You know, I was just thinking about that, Justin. If the Roloffs wanted the show to be done at the end of season five and had to be talked into "wrapping things up" and they are grateful TLC didn't need the whole 80 episodes/two entire seasons of their contract to do so.... Why is Matt all about how there's a spin off?

I mean, if we believe Matt's lil story... he's the one who decided no more show. So why would he *want* a spin off show if he wanted to leave the limelight?

Giles said...

Is that supposed to be sweet about Molly and the jars of Roloff dirt? Great lesson to teach kids. You're such a special princess that people will buy your dirt because you're superior to them. Maybe Molly will come up with the idea to sell her used tissues to people on Ebay. Jesus and Matt will be so proud.

Greg said...

Matt has been building up this video for so long. What is he going to say? Actually be honest?

It would be hilarious if he said 'The show is over so I can finally be honest...the whole thing was fake! We're not even Christian. Suckers!'

Or maybe he will show some iPhone video of the wrap up party last night? Maybe not, they were likely all too drunk to be on camera.

Lynn C said...

Matt sure does travel a lot. If these are all private speaking events he is making doing well for himself and the family.

The one thing I wish Matt would change about his Facebook posting habit is to lay off the teasing that he never explains. The other day he said it was a wild day and too hectic to Facebook, but he never went back to explain it.

I didn't like it when kids would say something enticing in grade four and I don't like it now either. If he's not going to tell a story, I wish he wouldn't mention it.

Other than that, I think it's great that Matt keeps his fans updated.

Rap541 said...

The one thing I wish Matt would change about his Facebook posting habit is to lay off the teasing that he never explains. The other day he said it was a wild day and too hectic to Facebook, but he never went back to explain it.

Its attention seeking. He's posting precisely to rattle your chain, Lynn. Like his "when I get 20k friends, I will do a little video to all the fans" - Really? It's all about control and Matt making people dance.

This is all about teasing. He's not a diplomat and its not like his current activities may be on next season.

Craw said...

Wrong Rap. Matt did make his video after he got 20,000 fans just like he said he would.

Rap541 said...

Yes. Craw, I know.

Have you considered the reality that if he just wanted to say thanks to the fans, he could have?

Without demanding his fans first prove they love Matt by friending Matt?

Instead of just doing it, doing something nice for the fans, he demanded his butt be thoroughly kissed first. He can't just thank the fans, first he has to control them, and tease them, and make them prove their love.

Matt's an attention whore. That is why he posts these "hee hee what am I up to now??" messages... He gets off on it.

If he didn't, he wouldn't be telling his fans to dance for him before he does something nice.

Dana said...

Some people are ungrateful.

Matt does his Facebook for the fans. It is Matt's choice what he tells and what he does not.

He does not owe it to us to tell us every detail that happens in his day or their lives. Matt can tell us what he wants and we should be grateful that he is doing it at all.

Jocelynn said...

Dana, you're changing the subject. Nobody said Matt has to tell all.

The issue is his teasing. It's like the little kid in school or the annoying little brother that runs around shouting "I know a secret but I won't tell".

It's not rocket science. If Matt doesn't want to tell why his day was so crazy, don't say "Wow! My day was so crazy! What a day!" and not finish the thought. It's teasing. It's disrespectful to people. If he's not prepare to talk about whatever, don't bring it up.

Rap541 said...

Jocelynn does have a point, Dana, you are changing the subject.

And before you continue to whine how ungrateful "some people" are - do remember I have always maintained that I don't care if Matt's on facebook.

And his attention whoring ways are precisely why. Matt's not interested in sharing his day or his thoughts with anyone. Matt wants attention. He wants dozens of people asking him what is he doing that is so fascinating and secret.

If Matt just wanted to do something nice for his fans, he could have just put up that video.

Instead, he teased and dragged it out until he had enough people begging to satisfy his ego. Matt didn't do it *until Matt got his ego stroked*.

He's all about making the puppets dance.

David said...

Rap, nicely put. Disagree slightly.

More than ego, Matt's facebook and demand for 20,000 fans before a video message was about what else? Money.

That's what the bottom line is always about for Matt and the Roloffs.

He wanted his fans to spread the word to their facebook friends thus increasing his fan count. The more fans he has, the more attractive he is for companies for their free perks (The Greek Deli), Grease deals). More fans make him more appealing to potential entertaiment employers that Matt is obviously seeking.

It's all about money. Oh, and the constant plugs for Roloff merchandise.

Anybody that believes Matt does his facebook to be nice to fans is foolish. It's all about money. Fans are dollar signs to the Roloffs and nothing else.

Judy said...

I don't know how much more Matt can do to show that he appreciates the fans. He says it. He posts to them. It's good to see a celebrity that cares about their fans.

Rap541 said...

Judy - he could do something nice without setting conditions to it. :)

This isn't hard. He wants to tell the fans how much he cares in a video? Fine... nice idea.

So why can't he just do it?

Why does he need to have the puppets dance and friend him and prove how much they love him first?

Judy - if I offered to say, write a nice pro-jeremy review of an episode... if all the Jeremy fans begged me and made at least one post praising my skill, wit, and opinions.... am I really just doing something nice?

Or am I making you jump thru hoops?

Brandon said...

Matt appreciates "each and every one of you"...as long as they agree with about everything!

Some people aren't all "Matt you suck". I've seen people explain very nicely why they disagree with something the Roloffs have done and they get attacked by either Matt or his minions.

David said...

Brandon, Matt "appreciates" those of them that have the money to buy Roloff merchandise and pay him $300.

And if you're Jewish, black, Mexican, gay, or any other minority excluding dwarfism, then Matt has proven how little he respects those people by not taking Jeremy's slurs and insults seriously or having the decency to apologize and recognize that it is offensive to many of his fans that he claims to appreciate.

Christine said...

"He posts to them. It's good to see a celebrity that cares about their fans."

Judy, question. If that's how you feel, why do you think it took Matt almost 3 years to do it? People were begging him to do it for years. Spirits said he should do something like what he has done. His own board was complaining that he wouldn't do anything for them for years.

For 2 or 3 years he never had time? I agree it's good he does something although the plugs to buy stuff does get annoying (if you're a poor fan, Matt doesn't want you! lol) but he admitted once that TLC was telling him that they wanted him to twitter or facebook.

If you agree that posting shows he appreciates fans, what about the rest of them? lol. Amy sometimes does with her charity, but what about the 20 year olds Jeremy and Zach that play all day. Jeremy plays all day. Zach used to, but Jeremy has never done anything for the fans, probably because what they really do is bash the fans by calling them losers that sucks, creeps, b*tches and other insults. They've been caught doing it enough times that I totally believe that's what they're really like no matter how many times Matt posts on FB or writes in the newsletter that the "entire family loves the fans!". It's crap and lies. Actions speak louder than words. Or words to their friends when they think no one is listening speak the loudest (like getting caught on the Oasis cruise).

Ashley said...

I agree about Matt teasing, but at least he's doing something. That's more than can be said for the others. Remember Matt told Jeremy to be nice to the fans a long time ago when Jeremy but Jeremy said he was going to ignore Matt and went onto say the fans were losers that suck the unsuckable.

That showed me that at least Matt tried to set a good example but he can't control how the other Roloffs act with fans.

Is all these trips Matt is taking to Los Angeles Matt trying to find future entertaiment employment projects? If you think about, basically the Roloffs are out of work. They still have some income coming in, but they lost a lot.

Hopefully something for Jeremy. Good luck, Matt.

I don't know about the pumpkin movie. Matt said he will let people know where/when/if/how to see it? I hope they aren't planning on some type of charge? I love Jeremy, but it's 6 mins long and goofy fun. I wouldn't pay to watch it.

Amy and Matt,

It's not easy in any relationship. Your children are growing up and many challanges come with that. The boys are in their own world they do what they want. The only thing they have ever had to work on were grades so that they would graduate.

Zack is just as willed as Amy and Jer just like Matt.

Yes Matt has dreams but Amy knew this in the beginning. Why else would he buy her an old house with dreams to one day build her a dream. The farm has a lot of potential. The little villages is awesome. Molly is lucky she has her own castle who would amagine. I have twin daughters that are 12 and would love to just have a play house. They would be in it all the time.

Jake is the biggest problem. He starts fights and hitting and gets away with it. Amy and Matt you are doing what you think is right.

Amy you are a teacher use your knowledge from that with your children. Molly will be leaving hopefull to a nice college one day and with Jer and Zack leaving one day all you will have is Jake. Who then will he beat up and get a thrill.

I agree Jake gets away with murder. The cell phone would have disappeared for a month until he learned his lesson. When he took Molly's I would have taken him to the bathroom handed him cleaning supplies and said clean and if that didn't work personal items of his that he like would have been locked up until he showed the respect that both parents and Molly deserved.

Roloffs I see that the final season is upon us I hope you do come back you just like many others are a part of many other families and we would love to see the children and they move into their own environments and how they work with others besides their parents.

Good luck and God Bless You. Thanks for everything you have given your viewers.

That's a surprise. A huge success. When has Matt ever said anything he's done, any day, has not been a huge success? They don't have the show anymore to do the typical "it will be a failure, but at the last minute it's a raving success" plot that they used one thousand times.

It's annoying how Matt acts like he is best friends with his facebook friends. He wants to meet them...so he can charge them $300 for 30 minutes.

Diane said...

Oh how cute. They put up a picture of Mueller in the western town for pumpkin season on the Roloff farm facebook page. I wonder if part of the admission to the tour is Mueller telling fans to F off and die b*tches?

Anonymous said...

No Diane, that will cost an extra $50.

David said...

I was reading a post from their Roloff Farm facebook page. A Colette said she paid for the private tour. Thanked Matt and Caryn. Roloff Farm (I'll guess it's Caryn?) replied to her. They said they truly love that one on one time with the people.

I am ready to vomit. Colette coughed up over $300 for thirty minutes. Nothing says true love and enjoyment like "Pay me $300 for me to talk to you".

I also think it's questionable to have these "private tours" during regular pumpkin hours if that's what they're doing. What about all the other visitors that drive many miles to see the family? Only to have a Roloff corned off for a half hour on private tours. I guess money talks and that's how little the Roloffs respect the people who won't pay a fortune to be in their God like presence.

Brandon said...

David, it's same stream of BS Matt spews about him and Amy loving getting to meet people for their speaking engagements.

He leaves out the details that they have a hefty price tag in the ballpark of $7000 plus travel and hotel expenses. But they LOVE meeting people there!

They LOVE having one on one time with people on the Golden tour for $300!

The Roloffs are so greedy. They don't do anything if there are not a lot of dollars in it for them or if they're not at least getting a lot of accolades for whatever it is.

"

Let it not be said that I can't be fair. We don't know why a private tour was scheduled during pumpkin season - it could easily be that the people who scheduled it really wanted it at that time for some reason.

Now considering most people go to roloff farms at pumpkin season more to see Roloffs and tv stuff than to buy pumpkins, yes, having the private tours then is a bad idea. However, I also thought, considering that most people go to see the Roloffs and not to buy pumpkins, that Matt and Amy scheduling cruise vacations during the busiest time of the year always seemed like a really bad idea....

Greg said...

I was watching an unrelated video on You Tube. There is a part where what this guy says perfectly describes Matt and the Roloffs. He was talking about Justin Bieber and the music industry, but it's perfect for the Roloffs and tv.

"...Industries type who are all like, image is everything, intelligence and integrity is nothing, as long as you just send out the right image to the world you can sell everything and make billions of dollars and by the time people realize you're an epic doucebag, it's too late because you've got millions of dollars you can buy an island somewhere and be a doucebag on your own private island!"

Brandon said...

Matt has really lost it now. lol.

Mean Spirits mean. The article about the positive Pumkin season reviews must have put Matt over the top because he had nothing to vent about.

Matt has always wanted it both ways. They are celebrities. People are going to talk about them and negatively sometimes.

Diane said...

LOL @ Matt.

Maybe while the "FBI" (Matt mentions them so often I'm thinking they have an office in Matt's barn!) is investigating cyber bullying they will begin with Jeremy, Mueller and the rest of his friends viciously insulting his fans online.

Rap541 said...

Yeah, considering the current tragedies I can't help but think the behavior of Mueller calling Jeremy's fans "bitches" and Jeremy's other friends telling fans to eff off and kill themselves losers just *might* be considered cyber bullying.

ALso considering Matt own behavior - praising his boardies for attacking people even when said boardies use vicious sexual comments - I really wonder if he wants to draw attention to his own behavior.

"Matt has always wanted it both ways. They are celebrities. People are going to talk about them and negatively sometimes."

That about sums it up, Brandon. Plus, I think Matt really has no idea that he's not exactly unique. I know of a celeb who made what I considered to be an offhand joking remark at a convention well over a year ago, who is still called a sexist ass and much worse. By his fans. And then they mocked him for complaining about it.

Brandon said...

Rap, good point about the boardies. I forgot about that. It's ironic. The biggest LPBW cyberbully was named Mrs. Sawyer.

Who is Matt's favorite boardie that he always asks about? Mrs Sawyer. Matt doesn't care about cyberbullying. It all depends on if the person pleases Matt or not.

Donna said...

Does Matt make a good point about Roloff farm not appealing to only fans with money? I read that a lot. That the Roloffs only like their rich fans and leave the poor ones in the dust.

Peter said...

Matt whining about cyberbullying? You're a celebrity, Matt. You made your families public figures.

What's next? Alex Rodriguez complaining of cyberbullying because people hate him online? Michael Vick? Singers? Justin Bieber? Lots of people hate that little twerp. Even he doesn't whine about cyberbullying.

Justin said...

Matt is pathetic. As usual, his naive facebook fans think Matt cares about kids in school that kid bullied. Jeremy and Mueller strike me as the type who are the bullies. How they've treated fans points to that.

Brandon, the one I remember about Jeremy is the one about his fan from Puerto Rico. That was classic cyber bullying. Jeremy and his friends mocked her appearance publicly.

All Matt is doing is throwing a pity party for himself because he's not in control of every word that is said about his family.

Austin said...

Matt is sick. He's making cyber bullying about himself.

It's about this really. An issue that Jeremy and his nice boy friends (Ha - no, really it's not funny) are part of the problem.

Thank you Ellen.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kb6jnBNdFoc

Carol said...

You nailed it Austin. Matt demeans the issue by pretending that Spirits is mean to Matt or is his "cyber bully".

God Bless Ellen and my heart weeps for the true victims of bullying, not for Matt's out of control ego.

Brandon said...

Nicely said Austin. Everyone should watch that video. Jeremy and Mueller included. They are bullies. They aren't the victims, they are the mean spirited bullies. They had a tv network being their PR machine that's all.

Rap541 said...

Donna, I can be fair. If you have little kids, and don't plan to take a tour or buy a pumpkin, I think Roloff Farms would be a fun, inexpensive outing. But that means no pumpkin, no onsite food, no tours, no airslide thingy, and while you can see the animals, feeding them costs extra. Just like the wagon tours, snacks at the snack bar, the new airslidey inflatable thing...

Matt's point is that its not impossible to have a cheap day at the farm. Now, I don't think I'm incorrect in stating that Matt really doesn't want the hordes that descend to just pay for parking. I mean really, its a business.

Christine said...

Yeah, Matt is full of it. Read his responses to that too.

His kids ARE mean kids. At least Jeremy and his friends.

Dan admitted they were mean. But at least Dan had the guts to admit he was wrong and shouldn't have said those things.

But the point is it's true that Jeremy and his friends were mean. Mean on the internet to people. Cyber bullying. Matt should look at his own kids before he throws stones.

Rap541 said...

I don't believe Matt. This all sounds like his typical game playing. Why would the FBI contact *Matt Roloff* for starters?

Why would news agencies seek Matt Roloff out over *cyberbullying*?

Does Matt even understand what it is?

Which national news agencies? Why is that a secret?

Peter said...

Like I just posted on Matt's facebook (it might be deleted).

Matt, I've seen your kids and their friends on Facebook groups that ridicule 16 year old Justin Bieber (I was a member of one of them, haha)

But the point is maybe you should talk to your kids and their friends that you like so much about not being "cyber bullies".

You are both public figures. Micah made a great point above.

Look at what happened when you mentioned Kate Gosselin on here? People were very vocal and mean spirited and blunt about bashing her and what they think of her. If you think you're a victim of cyberbullying then your own fans cyberbully another reality person way worse than anything you face.

Brandon said...

Yeah, there is a lot of hypocrisy, but when has that ever stopped the Roloffs before?

Matt's entire own message board has always been all about bullying anyone that dared to say anything that the clique didn't like.

Yeah, Matt's own anonymous fans that don't post their real names, that he likes like Sawyer, trashed one of the young Gosselin kids (the one with glasses) by posting a picture of a monkey side by side the baby Gosselin.

But like always, as long as it's a Roloff doing it or a person that defends the Roloffs, it is all good fun, but the minute it's directed at the Roloffs, then they are poor victims of meanies.

Peter, great point. The Roloff kids and friends do bash Justin Bieber. Celebrities are fair game and the Roloffs are celebrities, just like Tom Cruise, just like Justin Bieber, just like Kate. They are all celebrities that have been on Oprah.

Matt dishes it out but can't take it.

Brandon said...

Spirits, I have a suggestion.

I think you should change the heading of the blog to "The Roloff blog Matt doesn't want you to see!"

Nothing gets more attention than when people know there is something that someone doesn't want them to see. ;)

Matt is so juvenile and not very bright. Check this out from his boardies and mod.

"Matt doesn't want certain names/sites being mentioned on here. He doesn't want anyone singled out."

"I didn't use the name, I used her nickname."

I love how Matt thinks that people won't find the Spiritswander's blog if he doesn't say the name.

I know that if I didn't know about it and I heard Matt and his boardies talking about how much they hate a site, I would make sure I found it to see why they hate it so much. It must be juicey!

Ironically I think people would find it and think it must be another Roloff blog that has got Matt's pants in a wad because only Matt's butt kisser's and a person that can't handle any criticism would think Spirits is a hater. Like it was said before, that story people like the farm for pumpkin season was so so so hateful!!! (/sarcasm off)

Christine said...

For what its worth, Matt's cult are winking that Matt knows someone in the FBI or that they know someone in the FBI.

As an American, I'm going to be extremely pissed if the FBI is spending 5 seconds on issues of Matt Roloffs thin skin and ego.

Who cares about the war on terrorism? The FBI must make Matt Roloffs ego top concern! I give the FBI more credit than that.

Brandon said...

Hey, what happened to Matt's "I welcome criticism"? The fact he thinks Spirts is evil shows that he's a liar about that too.

Rap541 said...

Maybe Matt can explain why the FBI would be investigating cyberbullying when it doesn't fall under their jurisdiction?

I haven't seen any news media articles about Matt being cyberbullied either.

Why would the FBI want Matt to tell people about their possible investigation?

NJC said...

Wow! For Matt to link himself to this whole Cyber bullying thing makes me sick. Kid's are killing themselves and he's gotta make it all about him. And what's with the baby talk? It's kind of creepy.

Jocelynn said...

NJC, well said. I whole heartedly agree.

Wait, in Matt's world, I think he thinks we are bullying him by saying that, that making cyberbullying about himself is sick. Matt wants everybody to be mindless zombies and to like and agree with whatever he says. If people don't then they are bullying him. It's very warped, in my opinion.

Matt's behavior online has been far more sightful to what Matt is really like than the show has been.

TruthInAdvertising said...

Typical Matt.

"Sounds like fantastic and significant investigation going on."

The key phrase is "sounds like". Matt is a bullshitter and a salesman.

Either there is an investigation by the FBI or not, it's not a slippery slope. Matt is unwilling to commit to a clear statement. "Sounds like" lets him get away with "I never *said* the FBI was investigating".

Why dance around it if it is true? Security for the investigation? He's already bragged about it on his facebook. It smells.

Rap541 said...

(waits for someone to explain how Matt's comments indicate how disappointed he is in Jacob.)

I'm waiting, Matt fans :)

Greg said...

Actually Rap, I notice how many of Matt's posts seem to be direct responses to things people say here (even Dana!)

Seriously people have been saying that Jacob truthfully finds fans annoying and that is why Jacob avoided them last year by being holed up in Molly's castle.

Suddenly Matt has a post how Jacob is involved and mingling with fans.

In my opinion, it is clear what Matt is doing. I think that's more of a factor than Matt being proud of Jacob. He wants to be able to prove people wrong. Personally, I believe they were right. I think Jacob does hate the fans (just like Jeremy, Zach, Molly and all their friends) and I think that's why Jacob stayed in the castle last year.

After Matt read what people were saying last week, he probably was hell bent that Jacob was going to be mingling with the customers this weekend!

PS. Did they just add this soccer ball thing this weekend? I haven't seen anyone mention it yet? It wasn't listed in the article Spirits linked about new Things To Do at Roloff Farm 2010.

Rap541 said...

Greg - I am just noting that Matt is clearly praising Jake for his pumpkin work with the fans and that somehow the Matt and Jer fans will find a way to turn these comments on Jake.

David said...

Greg, I agree, but what gets me is that for a man that has complained about others being negative, Matt is a very negative and angry person.

There has been a lot of things said on this blog, in Spirits' reports about pumpkin season. 99% of people having a great time. Caryn being helpful. People saying they were happy to meet multiple Roloffs. Amy being nice and down to earth.

However, what does Matt react to? The allegation that Jacob secretly despises the fans/customers. The opinion that the Roloffs cater to their rich fans that have $300 to blow on the Golden ticket tour.

For a guy that has vented about *Negative Normans*, Matt is quite the Negative Norman himself. He ignores all the positive things said here about him or the farm, focusing only on the negative.

I've come to the conclusion that behind Matt's corny "Goobly-goo" personality he puts on the show, Matt is a very negative and very, very angry person.

Carol said...

Australia? I can't help but think of what Spirits said they were told about Matt.

"We are told that it is Matt Roloffs M.O. to throw ideas out there in the hopes that someone will take them up on it."

Australia anyone? Sounds to me like Matt is in vacation withdrawl now that TLC has sailed away and is hoping some fans with deep pockets will treat them since Roloffs are used to vacationing on someone elses dime!

David said...

If it is true about a stalker that has been harassing and calling the Roloffs, then good that it has come to an end...

But this is Matt Roloff. I don't believe a word he says without proof. I think Matt loves sympathy. He knows this kind of thing gets attention and makes the Roloffs martyrs.

Matt chooses his words carefully. He doesn't say anyone has been arrested. If someone has been phoning them with threatening messages since 2006 I find it hard to believe that it took 4 years to track them down and put a stop to it.

Something doesn't add up.

And how does this relate to online "ghose identities" and bloggers that Matt is always hollering about?

Greg said...

Sounds like a sympathy or attention ploy to me.

Christine said...

Matt loves attention. I'm not inclined to believe anything he says.

Timothy said...

Hmmm.

Funny how something always happens during pumpkin season that puts Matt in the news.

Two years ago it was a runaway turtle.

Last year it was the mysterious vandals.

This year it is stalkers.

How convenient for Matt that there are always news stories that put him in the headlines in October allowing him to promote the pumpkin farm.

TruthInAdvertising said...

" After receiving hundreds of emails/phone messages dating back to 2006 we are pleased with the outcome. The individule who made scary threats and trirades is now out been identified and will not be visting our farm anymore."

Arrested or not?

Why make mealy mouthed vague statements?

Rap541 said...

Why would the TSA be involved in a stalking case?

I also noted Matt avoiding saying anyone was arrested.

I'm still waiting on the several national new agencies to discuss Matt's cyberbullying. Since october 6, when Matt said he was contacted specifically on cyberbullying as it pertains to "reality people"... I haven't seen any media attention.

Mike P. said...

I came to this thread late, and my jaw drops.

Can Roloff get any more disgusting?

Bullying erupts in the news. It is physical and online both. Gay kids kill themselves because of it. Genuine concern about this grows.

Roloff notices, and what does he do? He thrusts himself into the scene.

"What about meeeeee?"

"I'm bullied too. What about meeeeee?"

And so it goes with Matt Roloff.

Rap541 said...

What with the FBI, the Sheriff's Office, the FBI, the Port of Portland, and the TSA all working on Matt's stalking, its hard to believe it took for years for one of Matt's open cases to be handled.

Perhaps he should also call the CIA, the Royal Mounted Police, the Baker Street Irregulars and the A-Team too.

Greg said...

Matt is in damage control about Rocky since it was another bad misleading episode meant to trick viewers and play with their emotions.

Jocelynn said...

Agreed Greg. It's funny how by the time Matt posts about something everything is always peachy and great. Everything was a "rough spell" that is over now because that's a good cover when it looks like the show wasn't real.

Greg said...

Matt is such a tease/attention whore. Do the people that like him enjoy being teased? It's disrespectful.

David said...

Greg, in addition to it being a power flex, Matt's "teasing" allows him to lie and exaggerate.

Rap541 said...

And before the FBI arrests anyone for bullying Matt over his precious facebook comments.... here's a Q&A from Matt himself.

Go Matt! Prove all the doubters wrong. I have faith that Matt and the family are going to come out of this just fine and better than ever. That's what happens when you have faith in Jesus and leave it to God. It doesn't hurt to have Matt's creative mind and drive too! :)

Seriously Dana, err, I mean alter-ego Matt, you need to stop with your ridiculous posts. You are not a real poster and everyone on here knows it. I'd be much more respectful and less dubious of you if you had pros/cons to add to the discussions. You don't. I think you've been hired by Matt I have pros and cons of LPBW--here so indulge me: The show started out in 2004 portraying their "normal" family life but with some (3) having some incredible physical deficits and I followed them because they were unique but really, a family, just like I have. The show unfortunately, over the years, blossomed into a train wreck--spending money, buying ridiculous amounts of materials possessions that a normal family just doesn't need, vacationing in exoctic locales that normal families just can't afford not only once a year but occassionaly twice and then believing, in their minds (blogs, website, interviews, etc.) they are above reproach and because they believe it or say that it must be true. Simple as that. If you, Dana, do not think that the average viewer is going to be disgusted and disillusioned, you simply do not live in the world most of us live in. Good for the Roloffs for getting bunches of freebies--that's not the norm and they started out protraying themselves as such. Short stature. Big world. They're right except for it's more like "Short sighted, Big egos". I find it sad that this is what it's come to for them. I can only hope the family ties and strengths they claim to have will carry them through the rest of their lives and they truly find happiness in whatever it is they're looking for. Regardless, they have used up their 15 minutes of fame and it really is time to move on.

Rap541 said...

"I have faith that Matt and the family are going to come out of this just fine and better than ever. "

Yes, what a nightmare the Roloffs have been through, what with *per their own story* choosing to return to a private life! How awful that they aren't going to get want... That was your point, huh Dana?

I mean, Matt *wanted to be done in Nov 2009* so god knows he needs to come out of this horrible situation.... How AWFUL, this situation of being a normal family without a tv and with the potential need to have a non tv job :)

Being just like everyone else is such a nightmare!

Heh. More importantly - I merely need to look one comment up to remind myself why I don't believe every word out of Matt's mouth like it's Jesus on the Mount.

David said...

Again, for a family that spent 4 years insisting they didn't want to be celebrities and didn't do the show for the money or fame, they sure are spending a lot of time trying to remain relevant celebrities.

Matt's facebook is so phony. It's hard to believe people used to say the Roloffs were real.

The Roloffs are so self indulgent. None more than Matt and Jeremy.

Either the original producers did a great job of making this arrogant bunch likable in the first season or they have changed so much. They've become greedy beyond belief and fame monsters.

Matt is like that annoying geek we all knew at school that ran around screaming "I know a secret!!!!!"

Brandon said...

I'm not surprised Matt is thanking his facebook fans for their cyberbullying of the county inspector instead of chastizing them for being bullies on the internet.

Another case of it's okay as long as it's not done to a Roloff. God the Roloffs are full of themselves.

Rap541 said...

Yeah um.... are these the same legal options where the stalking problem was solved but no arrest made?

Or is Matt saying he's suing the county?

Or is Matt suggesting "legal options" to sound threatening and like he's a big man but not actually doing anything since as aired, there was already a cop out there saying it wasn't illegal and there's already a filmed sequence of Amy telling the guy to get off the property, the guy getting off, and Amy then attempting to physically detain the guy's car rather than let him leave?

Lawsuits aren't private, and neither are arrests.

NJC said...

The guy should have been professional and given Amy his name and reason for being there but I doubt there are really any "legal options" to explore.

Not really interested in doing the research but I would suspect that when you decide to open up your property to the public as part of a money making venture you wave some of your privacy rights.
