Not too surprising. I expected it to tumble after the opener.

When they switch the format to one episode per week, I wonder why they put the new episode on at 8pm and the repeat on at 8:30pm? The 2nd episode always gets better ratings.

Expressed, I'm guessing it's because if people turned it on at 8:00 to find out it is repeat, they would probably turn it off/turn the channel and not come back thinking that the whole hour was repeats.

Kate's ratings are going back up and the Roloffs are going down?

People *love* and *hate* Kate. And Kate plus 8 is a rolling trainwreck of horrors.

Word on the street is that K8 is going down/cancelled. I sure hope so and pray that this information is correct as this show needs to be off the air.

Becky, I haven't heard that yet (but I don't pay attention to Kate), but it's not surprising.

When ratings drop for these long time shows like (fill in the blank) Plus 8 or LPBW, it doesn't become worth it to the network to keep them around.

I never did get the appeal of the Gosselins or any of the shows about oodles and oodles of kids, but a show like LPBW is meant to be only for a season or two. Then it stops being about a real family and all about money and fame.

Without this site and the fun we all have discussing the Roloffs, the show is very stale on its own. I think most people have noticed all the same plots being recycled. Then to maintain the Roloffs fake PG image, it becomes less and less real.

At least TLC seems to be getting the hint finally and putting these franchises to rest.

It's very telling that all the stars from these shows scratch and claw and do everything in their power to keep the attention on themselves and to stay in the limelight.

Kate and the Roloffs are the same that way. Like I said, I was never interested in the Gosselins show, but the one thing I give them credit for over the Roloffs and LPBW is at least they were honest. They admitted on camera that they have the show. Unlike the Roloffs that pretend like Zach is looking at a $42,000 new vehicle on a soccer job. Jon and Kate Plus 8 also came clean about all the freebies and vacations. I respect them more for that than the Roloffs that lie on the show and say everything is because of a "friend" Matt knows.

Ratings will continue to decline. Now you have Monday Night Football and DWTS. In addition, it's been well publicized that this show has been sent to the scrap heap.
