Jacob Mueller

We've already received some email comments about this, so because it is currently his public profile picture, we're passing this along.

Jacob Mueller...

Jacob Mueller is of course the best friend of Jeremy Roloff, often seen in the Little People, Big World episodes with Jeremy. Most people know that Jeremy and Mueller are quite intertwined in just about everything they do. Ever since people noticed Jeremy's dramatically different physical appearance over the past year or so, people have been specualting and questioning how Jeremy and Mueller have achieved their new muscle-bound looks.

We're not making any claims of course, people form their own opinions as they should, however the above picture did startle some people, so we're passing it along because people are talking about it.

Ew. I'm not a fan of that look. Too much.

Chris said...

Where is that Roloff apologist that was insisting that Mueller was talking about a job schedule when he referred to something about cycles and post cycles and soon starting the next cycle...that just happen to perfectly describe steroid cycles.

Timothy said...

I don't think it's possible to get those bulging neck muscles naturally.

Jocelynn said...

I don't know anything about muscle supplements or steroids, but I agree it looks weird...

Diane said...

Maybe that's why Jeremy and Mueller are such mean jerks. Doesn't this crap make people aggressive and give them mood swings?

Judy B said...

I've seen many 20 something guys look similar to that. I don't think people should speculate.

JimW said...

It's their bodies. Let them do what they want. It's their decision.

Janelle said...

I hope they aren't taking steroids because that stuff can really mess a person up.

Don't Matt and Amy care?

Abby said...

He's huge!

Justin said...

Move over Arnold...

He looks like he's trying to be a wrestling character.

Natalie said...

That's disturbing. Like seriously. I won't be surprised if we hear one day that Jeremy or Mueller dropped dead of a heart attack or some kind of medical problem with their vital organs.

Brandon said...

Assuming that it is not completely natural, is it Christian to put those chemicals or whatever you want to call it in your body. What happened to "your body is a temple for God".

Samantha said...

I don't understand where Jeremy got the idea that he needed to go for that crazy scary ripped out of skin look to look good.

Unless they're planning on entering a strong man competition I don't know why they are going for this look.

IMO, they don't look better.

Earlier this summer Mueller was laughing about throwing a shoe at a bird while they were camping and killing it.

Cindy said...

Anon8th, I heard about that. I thought they meant Mueller stomped on it to death. I think someone said the bird was killed on a cliff while hiking by a size 12, the bird never knew what hit it. Then Mueller corrected the friend, saying he's a size 13, not a size 12. I might have the sizes wrong.

They've also commented laughing about shooting squirrels in half if they use the right type of ammunition.

I admit I find it hard to think of Jeremy, Mueller and the rest of that group of friends as good people after hearing those types of stories.

It's worse than hunting. It's people that get satisfaction and joy out of killing living things for the pure thrill of killing something. I think people like that are sick.

They are supposedly so into God? That's how they treat God's creatures?

Anyway, back to the topic, I agree he doesn't look natural. Jeremy too. I hope for their sake they aren't messing with that kind of stuff because it can really mess up their bodies. Whatever they are doing, I hope they looked into it and someone has warned them about the risks.

why do guys think this look is attractive? it's not. mueller and jeremy both looked better when they looked fit, but not roided out.

Are there pictures of Jeremy looking bulged out?

I am very surprised you guys think that Jeremy and Mueller are using steroids.

I am big into weightlifting, so I'm a pretty good eye when it comes to telling if someone is juicing or not. And honestly, I find it very funny most of the posters here assume they're using drugs.

I don't think they even look that big. Sure they have an athletic build, but that doesn't mean they're using steroids. Have any of you guys been around a high school football/wrestling/baseball/soccer team? Most of those kids are built exactly like Jeremy and Jacob. The gym I go to, most kids Jeremy and Jacob's age look like that.

Sure they are well defined, but they're also 19 year-olds who are very active. They probably do exercise/lift weights on occasion, and when you do those things, you build muscle.

Again, I find it hard to believe you guys think they're using steroids. If you want to see someone who has been juicing, pickup any muscle magazine in the stores...now those guys are on steroids.

I would say Jeremey probably weighs around 180 pounds, if that...perfectly normal for his height (about 6 foot, I would say). His arms and chest are not noticeably big at all...defined yes, but nothing I would think out of the ordinary for a kid his age.

Most of you say how big of a change there has been. Well we first saw Jeremy when he was 14 or 15...and over the years he's hit puberty, been active, and probably lifted weights...so he's in his prime, and he's going to put on muscle if he exercises.

opinion said...

it's called going to the gym. Maybe if people actually exercised today, they would understand that.

a1 said...

i think he's definitely using something. if you look at recent appearances on the show he had almost no muscle tone at all!

Jeremy Fan said...

I saw some of Mueller's posts. There was one where some girl said it will cost Mueller to go to the gym with her. He replied by saying "two double cheese and a shot of steroids." He was being an ass (IMO) to Zach in the same post. Maybe it's their way of joking around??

Anon8a said...

Lovely backdrop there... is that his own place or does he live with him parents? from the looks of it-- it's a good thing he can suckle on the Roloff freebie teet-- that kitchen is def low rent.

Christine said...

Randy, people aren't talking about when Jeremy was 15. Look at Jeremy in his senior pictures. It was only a year then there was a HUGE difference when he first started looking all bulged out.

Most guys I know don't have those crazy neck muscles like Mueller in the picture.

Jeremy Fan, I saw that too! I think you were right the first time. Mueller was being an ass to Zach.

What I got from it was Mueller must go to the gym a lot with a junior in high school. Mueller was complaining that his gym partner ditched him so he wanted someone to go to the gym with him. Zach told him to take it easy on the junior because it wasn't like when Mueller was a junior in high school he was totally dedicated to going to getting huge. Mueller said Zach must be having his period. Zach said he's just saying that it's the second time Mueller has been complaining about the junior kid not being dedicated to body building. Mueller told Zach to go take a shower.

I don't think he was kidding around!

DBU fight! The show might not have been cancelled if it was about real things like this!

I tend to base the steroid less on their muscles in all honesty, and more on their talk of steroids (Mueller mentions them a lot) and their spot on talk of cycling... something the 'roid users I know go on about.

I've seen a few shots of Mueller and Jeremy looking so cut that I wondered. The 'roid talk, if untrue, is a dumb thing for two non users to do... if they are non users

Chris said...

Opinion, you don't know anything about what kind of results people get from normal exerice and working out. There is a world of difference between going to the gym, getting exercise and an almost over night transformation into the Incredible Hulk spazzing out.

You're also ignoring the fact that Mueller uses the steroid lingo. He perfectly described a steroid regiment with his cycle and post cycle talk.

Timothy said...

Jeremy has the zero body fat look. It's not natural.

That was Jeremy and Mueller in senior year of high school. They were skinny. It wasn't that long ago. Now look at them. I know someone that used to go to Faith with them and he can't believe how huge Mueller and Jeremy have gotten.

Jocelynn said...

Anon8a, Mueller's family can't be poor. Faith Bible is VERY expensive. Poor families don't send their kids to expensive private schools just because they want to be with their friends.

Susan said...

Even if only half of all the rumors about Jeremy and Mueller are true, and I know some of these are true, what a sad statement about the poor job Mueller's parents and Matt and Amy did raising those two. Do they have any morals or respect for anything except themselves?

Lets see among the rumored things about those two.

Lots of drinking.
Pot smoking
Steroid use.
Using girls
Animal cruelty
Racist language
Gay bashing
Cruelly ridiculing their fans
Making fun of people with mental disabilities

Did I forget anything?

Bob said...

Go to Google, hit "images" at the top, and in the search box type "jeremy roloff shirtless". The very first picture result you will see Jeremy and all his friends shirtless (including Mueller) and they are so skinny they look like beanpoles. This is a picture from high school. You do not get to looking like Mueller in the above pic from just working out. You have to be born with a certain genetic makeup and body type that very few are born with. To go from beanpole body type to muscles bulging out of your neck body type requires steroids. It's not natural and not possible otherwise.

Rap541 said...

Funny how we never see Jeremy smiling to the cameras how cool he and his friends are for killing squirrels by shotgun..... Must be too real for Daddy Matt to allow :)

Steven said...

I'm going tell it like I think it. I think they both use steroids.

Expressed said...

Bob, I honestly don't know. I agree it looks....strange, how much of a difference there is.

I think it's very possible. I also agree with Rap, I don't know why Mueller would always talk about steroids if they have nothing to do with them.

The only thing that I'd say against thinking they are using steroids is what about all those muscle supplements that guys use?

They aren't technically steroids right? You can by that muscle building protein stuff in health food stores.

I don't know enough about it to say, does someone else know? Is it possible for Mueller and Jeremy to get like they are today by using the muscle supplement stuff or is that what everybody considers steroids anyway?

Michelle said...

I want to know why they thought they needed to do whatever they're doing to look like that? They looked better before.

Randy said...

Christine...I know we're not talking about Jeremy when he was 15. All I'm saying is I don't think Jeremy looks unnatural at all. I can admit he was scrawny a couple years ago and he's in good shape now. But even in a year, if he was dedicated to working out, he could easily put on a good amount of muscle in a year. He's 19, in the prime of his life, his natural testosterone is probably as high as any point in his life that helps him put on muscle easily.

Plus there's plenty of legal supplements that you could find at your local GNC that he could take that could help him put on size such as protein and creatine.

Some of you guys say he has no fat on him so that must be a sign of steroid use...well did he have any fat on him before? No. So he was a string bean with no fat...so he probably started lifting weights and now he's a guy with muscle and no fat.

I'm sure all of you know a guy/girl who can eat whatever he/she wants and just lay around, and they're still skinny. I know I have a friend who doesn't work out at all, but is skinny and has a noticeable six pack.

Well Jeremy is probably the same way...he has a fast metabolism that keeps him very skinny. Now when he works out, he puts on muscle that is very noticeable. Just think if your lazy friends, who look great naturally, started working out...they'd probably get amazing results.

Again, I'm big into the weightlifting scene so I've been around lots of well built guys...some who user steroids and some who don't. And I don't find Jeremy or Mueller's body type anything to be concerned about. I admit Mueller does have some big traps (neck muscles), but he is flexing them and that will pop your muscles out to make them look even bigger. Neither of them have very big arms, defined yes, but they don't have bulging biceps. They are just well defined young men with a good set of abs.

Let me ask a question...For all the posters who think they're on steroids, how many of you guys actually lift weights on a regular basis to put on muscle (not just to tone or stay in shape, but to gain muscle mass)? I'm not calling anybody out or trying to start a big argument, but I would be very surprised if any of the posters on here who accused Jeremy/Jacob of steroid use is actually into weight-lifting.

I really think with the big steroid issue in baseball a couple years ago, that most of America has become accustomed to seeing someone who has muscle and is in shape, and immediately assumes steroids is the reason. But most of those people aren't those who go to the gym regularly and lift weights on a consistent basis. It's not hard for a teenager who is dedicated to lifting weights to get stronger to look like Jeremy or Jacob.

Again, if you want to see someone on steroids, look at anyone in the muscle magazines. Their biceps are bulging, lots of veins, their chests are as big as someones head, their thighs are so muscular they rub together...now those are steroid users.

I'm not saying no teenagers are using steroids, but I am 99% confident Jeremy and Mueller aren't. And I'm not defending steroid use, I think it's stupid and can definitely lead to health issues. But someone who works hard in the gym, pushes themselves, and is dedicated to their workouts will see good results.

Shadow said...

I agree that Jeremy *could* get the results we're seeing through weightlifting, but seriously, the most convincing argument that Jeremy is NOT getting his muscles through weightlifting is that it would require a constant, serious dedication to weightlifting to obtain these type results - and when has Jeremy EVER shown anything other than a fleeting interest in any activity?

Even if he's using "legal" supplements, he'd need to be lifting regularly/daily over several months, at least, to get the muscle development he's shown, and I just don't see Jeremy putting in that kind of time, especially since TLC hasn't shown a sniff of that kind of thing, and after they added all the "shirtless Jeremy" shots to the opening last year, I would think they'd be all over a sweaty, shirtless Jer in the gym (so to speak).

Not saying Jer is using, but I don't think he's a gym rat, either. Mueller, on the other hand, strikes me as the kind who *would* be in the gym every day. So who knows?

Brandon said...

Shadow, I think Jeremy and Mueller work out together. They wouldn't spend that amount of time apart (if Mueller was a gym rat and Jeremy wasn't).

Shadow said...

Oh, I think Jeremy hangs out at the gym with Mueller. I'm sure he likes to watch, and it makes him feel manly, and a 20-year-old who apparently doesn't go to school anymore or have a job has to do something with all his free time. And he might even pick up a barbell now and then. But the kind of chest-cracking, arm-burning, oh-god-make-it-stop, repetitive heavy lifting you have to do to get really ripped? I *just* don't see that kind of commitment in Jeremy. He's too much like Matt "I want what I want when I want it" Roloff.

Jerome said...

I can totally believe that both Jeremy and Mueller have gotten their build WITHOUT using steroids. I have seen many of my friends and myself go through high school as skinny little runts and with dedication, a strict diet, and weight lifting regimen it is possible. Haven't you ever seen the actors who bulk up ridiculously in a short span of time (sometimes under a year) to prepare for a movie role. Ryan reynolds gained 20+ pounds of muscle for his role in Blade trinity and his build was similar to Muellers before and after he was done training he was more ripped than Mueller will ever be.

All I am saying is that it is possible that they did the natural way. With the help of whey protein isolates, creatine, etc...but not steroids.

And if they did use steroids...we will be able to tell because as soon as they stop taking the steroids we will notice a drastic change in their physical appearance.

Vic Rattlehead said...

Mueller looks so stupid in that picture.

It seriously looks like he's trying to channel The Ultimate Warrior "Ravishing" Rick Rude or Hulk Hogan circa 1987/88.

I highly doubt that Mueller and Jeremy are achieving that kind of muscle development without some kind of artificial enhancement like roids kreatine Human/Monkey/Horse growth hormones.

I just hope that they realize the damage they could be doing to their bodies internal organs and reproductive systems, although I doubt the actually care.

Frankie said...

man you guys are brutal. Mueller hardly looks "juiced" in that pic. Why do you all have to bash this kid?

Kapper said...

Both of my adult sons are athletic and pump iron regularly. They've done this for years without fail. I do know that one of my sons has taken creatine & whey protein and the other one hasn't taken any kind of supplement whatsoever. Even as little kids they were pretty fit; it's just my opinion, based on what I see with my own boys, but my guess is that Mueller & Jeremy don't use steroids. Although why Mueller keeps referring to them makes no sense, so that in itself makes me a bit suspicious.

Inessence said...

For the record, I have seen protein supplements on the counter in the Roloff kitchen during the show.

Also, Matt has in the past encouraged the shooting of gophers for digging up the lawn. I'd venture that for these lazy kids, squirrels, birds or possums and raccoons are far easier marks for target practice.

Christine said...

Inessence, or cats unfortunately. I wonder what happened to that poor barn cat?

Did everyone see the TLC video? It was called "New Kitten". It was the extendo version of the scene on tv with Zach and Molly in the bathroom with the barn kitten.

Zach picked it up. He said "If it bites me and I need to get a shot, I'm going to shoot it."

Knowing what they've done to other animals, it would not surprise me in the least.

OMG HES NOT ON STEROIDS HES NOT GAY ALL YOU HATERS NEED TO SHUT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! get to know him and youll see he is a wonderful person and is a great friend!!

Justin said...

Yeah a great friend, if you like someone that abuses cats and small animals.

I don't know if he's on steroids, but I think he takes stuff that is not natural. His build is not natural and it messes with a person's body. Maybe that's why he feels the need to throw cats around?

Personally I don't think he's gay...I think he's a mean spirited jerk with no character.

caltroy said...

who cares if he is gay? what would it matter? what would that have to do with his character? i thought our newer/younger generations have a better handle on the differences between people being 'ok' (of course they are, it's natural for humans and all living things to be unique...and to see it any other way is just an expression of insecurity, some need to make oneself feel better by trying to put down anyone not just like them). but man, we still have a ways to go to really crush prejudice in our culture. come on everyone, keep pushing yourself and those around you to take another step at a time in that direction. peace.
