Pictures of Jeremy Roloff and Jacob Mueller Cat Tossing

A series of pictures depicting Jeremy Roloff and his best friend and pretty much a Little People, Big World regular - Jacob Mueller, are making the rounds on the internet. The pictures show them tossing the black and white Roloff cat (Mo) high in the air towards the ceiling, snapping pictures of the feline they sent airborne.

In the first picture Mueller is holding the cat.

In the second picture, Mueller has the cat in mid launch as Jeremy Roloff is positioned on the couch ready to snap pictures of the "action" (no word if these pictures will be part of a Jeremy Roloff photography portfolio...this is probably not what fans had in mind when the Roloffs speak of Jeremy's love of picture taking...)

The third picture shows the frantic cat high in the air.

After some people notified us of these pictures, one of the reasons why we wanted to discuss them was that it is an example of something that has come up time and time again. The Roloffs present a certain image to the public. Trusting fans believe that image. If someone has knowledge that the Roloffs real life actions contradict that image, the Roloff faction deems them either to be lying or "haters". And one of the main criticisms of the Roloff family from detractors is that the Roloffs real life actions differ tremendously from the image they portray to the public for business purposes.

With regards to this subject, Matt has posted a cutesy picture of Jeremy Roloff "rescuing" another Roloff cat from a tree. In one of Matt's You Tube videos, he spoke about how they are extremely careful when putting the calico cat on the ground because the cat has poor vision so they must be very, very gentle. Those comments/picture are met by applause and praise from animal lovers everywhere. "Oh, Jeremy is so sweet for helping that poor cat. God bless him!" "Matt, I love cats too. Thank you guys so much for being so compassionate towards that poor creature'...and comments such as those.

Yet in actuality, evening entertainment for the Roloff kids and their beloved best friends apparently consists of cat tossing and joyfully snapping pictures of the cat's ordeal. I think it's fair to say that most of those ('Jeremy is so sweet and gentle with the cat') comments from the animal lovers would be retracted if people knew that this is an example of what Jeremy and his friends do for fun.

I don't always interject personal opinion on the items on this site, but I will in this case. Have to be honest. I don't think cat tossing is cool at all. I think it's pretty distasteful for buff 20 years olds (some say Mueller is 6'4", some say he is 6'6") or anyone for that matter.... to be throwing a 10 - 12 pound cat towards the ceiling while snapping pictures of it for their enjoyment. I don't think it's funny or cute. My opinion is that it's pretty mean and cruel.

Seriously, are Jeremy and Mueller 11 years old (no, they are 20)? This strikes me as something that badly behaved 11 year old boys with anger problems do to feel in control.

Are we supposed to applaud Matt for successfully duping some fans? Matt is able to get animal lovers to adorn them with praise for being sweet and gentle, when really the Roloff cat is being thrown towards the ceiling for the amusement of the Roloff "boys" and their friends. Are we supposed to say "Congratulations Matt. You're so sly and clever"? Are we supposed to applaud Jeremy and Mueller for finding more ways to make memories together and praise them with "Great cat toss, Mueller! Great positioning, Jer! You look like a pro!"?

Words can't describe how big of douchebags Jeremy and Mueller are as people. Just when you think they can't get any more repulsive.

Ashley said...

Not OK. Not OK at all. Shame on Jeremy and Mueller. :(

Jocelynn said...

I have always liked the saying you can determine a man's character by the way he treats defenseless animals. Very true of Mueller and Jeremy...

Greg said...

What tough guys they are.

Does this make anyone else wonder how exactly the other cat became blind in the first place?

Diane said...

The poor cat!!!!!

Judy B said...

I'm not a fan of this, but lets have God reserve judgement. Not us. I'm not perfect. Are you?

Laura S said...

Spirits, I disagree. I don't condone what they are doing, but Matt has nothing to do with it.

Jeremy, Zach, Jacob Mueller et al are their own people. Matt can be gentle with the other cat, but Jeremy's not. That's on Jeremy, not Matt. As you said, Jeremy and Mueller are 20. Matt and Amy don't control what Jeremy and Mueller do all hours of every day.

I am sure this will come as a surprise to Matt and Amy and they will punish accordingly.

Abby said...

I hope it didn't hurt it's leg :( My cat hurt it's leg jumping off the back of my couch. I didn't throw it in the air that high and take pics of it!

JERKS!

Nancy said...

I've given Jeremy the benefit of the doubt about other things like the racist talk and the anti gay stuff and the fan bashing, but this is where I draw the line.

People with good hearts don't do this kind of thing.

Timothy said...

Can't say i'm surprised. Jeremy and Mueller are bullies. Bullies bully anything. People weaker than they are. Disgraceful.

Carrie said...

Can Molly take the Roloff cats and free them from her stupid brothers and their mean friends??? Free Moe!

Dana said...

I think this is blown out of proportion. They are just having some fun. They probably didn't hurt it and it probably doesn't happen a lot. They shouldn't have done it, but kids do stupid things. It's life.

Linda Sheappard said...

I despise people that are cruel to animals.

Justin said...

Nothing new. Jeremy's whole life is about a phony image.

I bet that's the real reason why he never talks for himself.

David said...

I believe Matt kills himself laughing at how he's able to fool people. If this is what they are doing, why even talk about animals? Instead Matt goes out of his way to portray the other image.

Christine said...

They are so Christ like....no excuse for this. Dana, they aren't kids...they're freaking 20 years old. My 6 year old nephew knows that you don't do that to pets.

Jan said...

"People" like the Roloffs shouldn't be allowed to have animals.

Kim K said...

That is so not right. Jeremy and Mueller suck.

Shelby said...

I don't like what they are doing, but Mueller is hot! :)

Lisa said...

No one is perfect. Every person has done something they aren't proud of or gets carried away when having fun with their friends. The cat is fine and the Roloff animals are very lucky to live in the Roloff home.

Anne said...

If you're going to get mad, get mad at Mueller and Jeremy. I don't think Matt would like this at all.

Peter said...

Not - surprising - at - all. Anybody that didn't think Jeremy and Mueller were these kind of jerks were fools from day one.

Addison said...

O come on! They are college students and they are young guys with a lot of testosterone, sometimes they do stupid things like that. It's not like they're torturing it.

Carol said...

What two pathetic excuses for men.

Tina said...

I agree with all the comments about it being wrong, but I don't think Jeremy and Mueller should get all the flack. From the camera angle (being so short) I bet Zach is taking the picture and part of the fun.

Rob said...

Gee I wonder why Matt posted the tree picture and not this picture on his facebook.

Jeremy and Mueller - Grow the F up!

Marie said...

Sickening. This really upsets me. I liked the Roloffs but this is hard to ignore.

Marie said...

And I would never never never do that to my cats or let anyone do that.

Adriane said...

Greg, I was thinking the same thing about the other cat's eye problems. It also makes me think Matt's story about how Dudley and the hens were killed was a lie. If this is how Mueller and Jeremy treat a pet cat, I would put nothing past them with animals like chickens.

Jerry said...

Jeremy and Mueller ought to be thrown in the air. People that over power animals are scum. Nuff said.

Fiona said...

people say Jake Roloff is the out of control one???? Look at the examples he has. Jeremy and Mueller are not nice people.

Ela said...

I hope that farm or zoo that the Roloffs get the animals from for pumpkin season will think twice about lending them their animals again.

Rachel said...

Somebody needs to rescue that cat and give it a good loving home before these two heartless idiots seriously injure or kill the poor thing.

tay said...

well...the roloffs always said they weren't animal people so...

Fran said...

I think Jake Roloff is probably already and will be just as bad as his older brothers and friends are to animals.

Christy said...

Jeremy and Mueller are so smug. Look at Jeremy. I just want to slap his stupid camera out of his hands.

Pamela Davis said...

Why can't people treat people and things with respect and dignity. It's not dignified to "toss" a cat high in the air.

If Matt is reading, this is very wrong. Please don't make excuses for your son even if he is your favorite.

Rap541 said...

Oh come on, they are college students and twenty years old... Old enough and smart enough to know the difference between "petting the kitty nicely" and "throwing the kitty and laughing". Folks who are making excuses for "the boys" or "the kids" - would you grin and bear it and allow Mueller and Jeremy to do this to your cat and say "I don't judge you" if it was *your* cat? Really?

Animal cruelty - and make no mistake, its animal cruelty - is something we have to give a "responsible fine young man" a pass on because he's ONLY almost 21 and therefore this is Jeremy and he's got a loving heart?

I think we're seeing Jeremy's heart here, laughing about being mean. This is what he does to defenseless animals. Don't make excuses. Jeremy is an adult man.

If this was a picture of Jake and his buddie Levi, you'd be calling him a psychopath, not saying "don't judge". Or is Widdle PiddlePants Jer-Bear still too widdle to be a man? Guess so since the "he's a kid" excuse has been trotted out

Lynn C said...

I am interested to see how Matt responds to this. I hope he does because I know a lot of his fans are animal rights supporters and I don't like this.

Jeremy is definitely showing a different side of himself with Mueller here and I don't like it.

I didn't like Matt's comment about having Jeremy shoot Rocky in the barn, but I understand that he was saying it out of love because that is what farmers used to do in the old days.

But tormenting the cat for kicks and giggles is tough for me to ignore.

Brandon said...

Lynn, thank you for not immediately jumping to the Jer Bears defense.

It's sad that your first reaction and I'm guessing a lot of people's reaction is how will Matt respond.

No, I don't have a lot of sympathy for Matt because he is the one that wanted it this way, but Jeremy is two and a half months from being 21. Somebody did make a valid point.

This is Jeremy and not Matt so it does fall and Jeremy and BFF Mueller (but then again, Matt and Amy are always talking about how great Mueller is so...).

Shouldn't the reaction be what does Jeremy have to say for himself? People don't even expect that anymore because he never does, he still had daddy Matt clean up all his messes for him because he's a wee lil boy....in more ways than one obviously.

Helena said...

The Roloffs are definitely two-faced. Why do you think Matt doesn't want any of their friends talking about them? Because they have so much to hide.

Hillary said...

I wish somebody bigger than Jeremy and Mueller would throw them in the air against their will!!!! I LOVE CATS.

This confirms for me that Molly is the only good Roloff kid. I wonder where Molly was when they were doing this to poor Mo.

Dana said...

Rap, don't get carried away. I said they shouldn't have done it. I said they were stupid. But it's not animal cruelty. They aren't inflicting physical pain on the cat.

Chloe said...

I can't stand people that treat animals this way. Oh Jeremy and Mueller you so tough and manly!

Amber said...

Free the animals from these sickos.

Owen said...

It doesn't surprise me at all. Aggression is one of the side effects of all the crap they are probably taking, muscle supplements or whatever they those two jerks are putting into their bodies. Roid rage?

Emma said...

Why didn't the TLC cameras ever show this side of the twins and their friends?

Almost forgot, the show was a joke, staged by friends of the Roloffs and not ever intended to be reality. It was meant to trick people into liking the Roloffs and think they were people they aren't.

Whenever stuff like this comes out, I not only think worse of Jeremy and the Roloffs, but I think worse of everyone involved in that stupid sham of a show.

Jake said...

What losers.

Rap541 said...

Dana - were you there? How do you know? Considering Mo's reported unpleasant disposition, coupled with the knowledge that the "boys" (Widdle Jerry-Berry isn't a man and isn't capable of understanding anything after all) like to toss the cat into the ceiling - I doubt very much that this was the first time the "little irresponsbile twenty year old kids" were cruel to the cat.

Yes, Dana, its cruel to throw small animals. Please go to any animal shelter or animal control officer and ask how they view this behavior. Stop making excuses - people with kind loving hearts aren't nasty to small defenseless animals for kicks. Look at the smiles in those photos - those are being mean and loving it.

Lynn C - for the record, I respect you for not letting this slide

Melody said...

Someone needs to tell Jeremy and Jacob thats not how Christ wants humans to treat his creations. As people with the gift of compassion we are supposed to treat all God's creatures as God would have wanted.

Madeline said...

That is animal cruelty.

In addition to being racist and homophobic bigots and bashers of their own fans, they are mean to animals. The hits just keep on coming from these guys!!!

This is just boys being boys. Guys are always doing stupid stuff like this and think they're cool. Jeremy and Mueller are no different than thousands of guys their age around the country.

This is nothing when it comes to Jeremy & his friends and mistreatment of animals.

Elaine said...

I despise people that treat animals in this manners.

Rap541 said...

Paige - so you think we should all approve of what they are doing?

Please be clear - do you think Jeremy and Mueller are doing nothing wrong and we should applaud and approve their choice of entertainment?

Everyone who has a problem with cat tossing is just refusing to let boys be boys?

(funny how as usual, when Jeremy is caught doing something unpleasant like animal cruelty, the almost twenty one year old man is suddenly a little boy who is a child and shouldn't be expected to be held accountable like a man)

Brooke said...

"are Jeremy and Mueller 11 years old (no, they are 20)? This strikes me as something that badly behaved 11 year old boys with anger problems do to feel in control."

That's an insult to 11 year olds. More like a 4 year old that has not been taught how to treat living things.

Morgan said...

This is the breaking point for me. I have let it go before with Jeremy, thinking he just made some mistakes but was a good person overall, but I have no patience or tolerance for people that treat animals this way.

Can we do anything to make sure they don't torment this poor cat anymore?

Diane said...

There was something the summer about them talking about Mueller stomping on a bird to death when they were on hike. Sad part is this is most likely tame compared to what they do to animals.

BeckyM said...

After visiting this site and finding out more then I ever wanted to know about the Roloffs, I've long suspected that Jeremy has a sick obsession with hurting animals.

His onscreen comments, as well as those of Matt (and I come from farming stock and none of us would joke about shooting a farm dog, let alone a family pet), show that they think animals are worth absolutely zero. A REAL farmer (which Matt by far is NOT), knows that animals serve purposes and they do nothing to extend an animals' pain, nor do they joke about how they slaughter or kill an animal for food or out of compassion because the animal's life is ending..

Teasing conceals a real aggression towards inflicting pain upon innocent beings - it's one step from tormenting animals to tormenting people and Jeremy is no four year old who doesn't know what is appropriate.

I hope someone has the balls to ask Amy about this during her "oh look at me, my family is great, and support my worthless charities" chat crap.

I am REALLY angry....

Rap541 said...

Diane - if I recall, Jeremy threatening to stomp on a baby bird and then going through the motions of doing so also occured at one of the twins birthday parties.

I believe it was deemed "Jeremy is a boy! Boys will be boys!" then as well.

Again, if this was a photo of Jake, Dana and Judy B wouldn't be saying "Don't judge!" and "Its ok because the cat didn't end up dead!"... but its Precious Perfect Jer-bear!

Judy B - since you aren't *judging* anymore, I trust you will no longer *pass judgement* on Jake Roloff? After all - you aren't God.

ANd just so we're clear:

Jake is a man who at 9-14 is to be judged publically as a worthless piece of trash that needs public shaming.

Jeremy at twenty one is a boy who musn't hear a harsh word when he's gleefully torturing a cat.

Jeremy is such a fine Christian boy! (Not a man, not EVER a man, always an irresponsible boy who will never be held accountable)

Brandon makes a fine point - who cares what Matt has to say about this?

What does Jeremy Roloff, grinning as he watches his BFF throw his pet cat into the ceiling, have to say for himself?

Maybe its time the big *boy* stopped hiding behind his daddy with his head down? Oh wait.... I forgot, Jeremy is a *boy* and his daddy has to speak for him and he's too widdle to know better about anything! I really don't expect Jer-Bear to ever leave home since he's mentally incompetant and not capable of acting like or being a responsible adult! After all, he's made a mess and everyone is wondering how his *daddy* will fix it.

"... From the camera angle (being so short) I bet Zach is taking the picture and part of the fun."

Zach, or anyone else in the world sitting down .

Diane said...

Rap, I had forgotten about Jeremy pretending to jump on the baby bird they knocked out of the next at Kirsten's birthday party. Now that you mention it, that was the first clue that Jeremy had a sick mind with animals.

But that's not what I meant. It was from Mueller, Jeremy and the other friends this summer on one of their hikes. Even Gray C on Matt's board was talking about it. They were talking about a bird they named "Lou" never saw what hit him as his life was being snuffed out - a size 13. Mueller corrected them by saying he's a size 15 or something. Nothing like a good ol nature hike for these servants of God that stomp on birds.

Now we know they obviously throw cats too.

Jackson said...

They are jerks. Like the producer friends didn't know they did stuff. I think they are all a bunch of liars and con artists.

Olivia said...

Is Molly really related to Jeremy? I always thought Mueller was trouble. Like somebody says he has a resume. Says expletives to fans, uses hate speech and is mean to cats.

Kev said...

If Matt and Amy were good parents they would have put an end to Mueller's friendship with their kids about 10 years ago.

Samantha P said...

Matthew 7:3 Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?

Listen, some of you will have to accept that Jeremy and Jacob are not cat people and probably will never be cat people. They like dogs. Jeremy loves Rocky. Jacob grew up with dogs. He was very sad when it died. He got a cute hound dog puppy with the cutest ears this summer and loves it a lot. Some people are cat people, some are dog people.

David said...

Brandon, Rap, Becky: I can guess what Amy's response would be based on her response to Jeremy's offensive language. My prediction

'It is very sad that Jeremy can't even take pictures of Mueller throwing the cat without strangers judging them. Strangers posting behind names on the internet judging him and criticizing my boy when he wants to throw cat with his friend. I've never said my kids are perfect. Stop judging. It's very sad that Jer needs to be concerned about being judged when all he wants to do is throw the cat with friends."

I bet I would be close :)

abstractdaisy said...

@Samantha P: Trotting out the bible as your argument against judging someone on “cat tossing” is shameful and has no merit. Tossing a helpless cat into the air is wrong. Plain and simple. Most people with half a brain cell or for that matter, simple human decency typically know it’s not the right thing to do. I guess since I’m not a dwarf person, it would, in your opinion, be okay for me to toss them around, shoot them out of canons or just in general make fun of them simply because I prefer tall people to short ones.

Rap541 said...

Samantha - so you approve of animal cruelty?

I mean, I don't like dogs, so if I throw Jacob's sweet lil puppy up into the ceiling... he needs to SHUT UP and not judge, right?

After all, he isn't a cat person so being cruel to cats is cutey pie fun and no one should judge so when it's HIS pet, he will smile and approve?

(actually considering his apparent tendency to stomp animals to death and laugh about it, he probably WOULD approve)

I mean, I am not a dog person so I get to torture dogs? Really? Thats your idea of acting decent? What is wrong with you? "Jeremy and Jacob aren't cat people so throwing a cat is FINE"

Is THAT what you learn in church? IF Jeremy doesn't like something, he gets a free pass to hurt it?

I repeat - what is wrong with you? Do you get off on like your buddies, Samantha? I swear, the faith bible crowd gets more and more charming... do you burn animals in the Roloff bonfires for kicks? I mean, its ok if you don't like the particular sort of animal so why not?

Rap541 said...

David - I bet you're right.

If this is what they take pictures of, I hate to think what they're not showing us.

Chantelle said...

They are jerks. Plain and simple. I will never think of Jeremy the same again. People that get joy out of something like that are messed up.

M said...

I cant believe some are trying to justify what they did by saying theyre boys, they do stupid things. They are almost 21. you know, an adult and adults are supposed to know better. Its pretty pathetic to see two grown men throwing a cat up for fun. I wonder how Matt and Amy are going to spin this to make Jeremy out like a victim

They might not be beating the cat but theres more then one way to abuse animals

Michelle said...

I think Mueller should toss Matt or Zach up in the air and see how they feel, no, better yet launch them from the trebuchet and snap a picture of their terrified faces! Poor cat!

Emily said...

I'm trying to imagine the conversation that went on between Mueller and Jeremy before this. It must not have been the first time they've tormented the cats. You throw it and I'll take pics of it. That will be funny. Hahahahaha. Praise Jesus!"

I have no respect for them.

Brandon said...

Well said, M. "Pretty pathetic" is a good description for Jeremy and Mueller.

Louise said...

It's not Matt's or Amy's fault. Nobody should be talking about them. Be mad at Jeremy and his friend, not Matt.

Logan said...

Mueller's expression in picture no. 1 makes me want to smack that stupid grin off his face and Jeremy deserves to have that camera shoved up his butt in picture no. 2.

Anybody that says a nice word about Jeremy now either has no morals or is a complete ignorant fool that doesn't know that they are a butt of the Roloffs joke.

Leah said...

Those pictures are really disturbing actually. Sickos. Jeremy definitely has an angry cruel side of himself that the producers buddies carefully concealed.

Alex said...

I've always wished our criminal justice system would adopt the policy of an eye for an eye for people that abuse animals. You drag a dog on a leash in the back of a truck, we drag you. You throw a cat around big men, we throw you around.

That would wipe those stupid smiles off their faces.

Counterfeit God said...

Seeing Jeremy and that slimy best friend of his doing that to a defenseless animal makes me want to knock some sense into them.

I've had cats all my life and would never do that because cats are intelligent independent animals that you actually have to earn to attention of unlike dogs which will come to whom ever waves a treat in its face.

In a lot of ways Jeremy is like a dog: he's a big dumb slobbering fool who will follow the leader blindly.

Rap541 said...

It's not Matt's or Amy's fault. Nobody should be talking about them. Be mad at Jeremy and his friend, not Matt.

Jeremy lives at home with Daddy Matt. Jeremy has no job and does not support himself, Daddy Matt does that. This occured in Daddy Matt's home.

If that's not enough to assign some blame to Matt for allowing his son and his son's friend to abuse the family pets, then remember....

Jeremy is off the hook because he's a BOY. A BOY! A CHILD! Jeremy Roloff is not to blame for his wrong act because he's a child at twenty and not responsible since he's a widdle boy. So since Jeremy is a BOY, A CHILD, A KID, and "Boys will be boys!" then where were the actual adults, *Matt and Amy*?

If we're gonna play the "Jeremy is just an irresponsible child who doesn't know better" then where the hell were his mom and dad?

Or is this how it goes?

"Jeremy is blameless because he's an immature boy."

"Don't blame Matt, Jeremy's an adult"

"But Jeremy isn't at fault since he's a boy and at just almost twenty one, a boy can't know throwing cats is wrong!"

"But Matt has no responsibility for how his adult son behaves in his home!"

Make up your minds, folks.

Jackie said...

I just posted a message on Matt's FB page asking about his thoughts about Jeremy & Mueller abusing their cat Moe--isn't she the blind cat? I suspect I'll be either deleted as a friend (which I'm not nor intended to be--friends are folks who tend to think alike and have something in common--which we don't) or my question/post will be deleted forthright. I suspect it'll be ignored or watered down with some insignificant response. I'll post Matt's response if received. Might be interesting.

Christine said...

Jackie, it doesn't really matter, but the blind cat (I don't believe that it's really blind) is named June. It is orange and black and white. The cat that Mueller and Jeremy are throwing around is black and white named Moe. It was in the Rocky episode when they showed the two cats in the room with Rocky.

Jackie said...

Thanks for clarifying Christine. I guess, in my opinion it doesn't reallly matter if the cat's blind or not; frankly, either way, I find it incredibly offensive to abuse (and these pictures show definite abuse folks regardless of the excuses)anything living and breathing which cannot defend or help itself out of its current situation. I'm really just appalled and saddened that this sort of behavior is acceptable to the Roloffs. God help those animals that are dependant on the Roloff's for their well being. What an absolute shame. If I were Matt & Amy I would be embarrassed and ashamed of Jeremy to say the least.

Julia said...

I can't believe I once thought Jeremy was a nice guy. I agree with Rap. If this is what they take pictures of, I don't even want to think about what they do that they don't film.

Alan said...

This helps explains why the Roloff cats are surly towards Rocky. They are being abused by Dumb and Dumber.

Rosalie said...

I don't know about anyone else, but I just finished writing a hand written letter to TLC about this and my disgust.

Alyssia said...

Those pictures especially that last one make me very mad and angry. That poor thing. To know that these idiots that did it are sitting there smiling and taking pictures of its distress makes them inhumane.

Adelaide said...

This is proof that Jeremy had a personality that they kept off the television show. I thought Jeremy didn't get angry or aggressive. He must have been saving it for away from the TLC cameras and the cat.

Jackie said...

Rosalie--you've done what I plan to do. Send an email to TLC letting them know just how disgusting, offensive and utterly disgusting this family reallly is. The Roloff's talk about acceptance and tolerance and then this clear and apparent animal abuse comes to light. The local ASPC needs to descend on the Roloff home and remove each and every animal from their residence. I think a link to PETA also is necessary. The Roloff's want some publicity--we'll get 'um some.

Jackie said...

Just reported this disgusting family to PETA. Included the links to the "cat tossing" party. Let PETA descend on them and give the Roloff's the media coverage they're after.

Donna said...

People who torture animals have deep-seated psychological problems. Jeremy is an arrogant, spoiled, lazy, unintelligent, worthless human being who is basically good for nothing. He has no goals in life other than to live with and mooch off his parents until they die and then he will hope that they leave him enough money in their will to support him for the rest of his life. Amy and Matt really screwed up as parents. Zack and Jeremy are totally worthless and Jacob is a lazy little smartass with a horrible attitude. I feel sure that there was a mix up at the hospital when Molly was born and Amy and Matt brought home someone else's daughter after the birth. There is no way that she is related to that family of losers. As for the cat incident, someone should report them to the animal humane society.

Vic Rattlehead said...

This kind of behavior (abusing animals for fun and personal pleasure)is the same sort of behavior that serial killers exhibit as children before they start killing other people as adults.

Someone should send an email with these pictures to P.E.T.A I'm sure they'd be very interested in taking this to the media and destroying Matt's so carefully created image of Jeremy as being a "sweet gentle god loving boy who wouldn't hurt a fly".

Jeremy Roloff and Jacob Muller are the scum of the earth in my opinion and should be treated as such.

Ruth said...

How can people that claim to love animals be so ruthless to HUMAN beings? Jeremy and his friend are not perfect. They make mistakes and don't always do the right thing. But they are humans with feelings. I don't like that people are talking about like they are scum. They are good people that do some bad things, like many many people.

Look at Michael Vick. People forgive him because he can throw a football and what Jeremy and his friend are doing is not even a fraction of a fraction as bad as what Vick did. Maybe if Jeremy could play football people would have more compassion before talking about Jeremy like he is a terrorist or something.

Vic: I sent the pics to PETA today. Hopefully they will do something about this despicable family who has family pets that are treated like trash. Amy should be absolutely ashamed to show her face and be begging for donations for, what someone else said, and rightfully so, her "worthless charities". What garbage and full of crap this family really is.

Eleanor said...

Where was Molly when this was happening?

Jackie said...

Ruth: So, you think that Jeremy is just imperfect? Really. Let's assume you've got some domestic animals and you leave for the weekend--you wanna have Jeremy tend to them while you're gone? I have cats. I wouldn't want Jeremy or Mueller within 10 foot of my house nor would I depend on them to care for them whilst I was gone. No thanks. I'd rather stay home than wonder or know they were being abused. Your comment is nonsensible and has nothing to do with Michael Vick or his animal abuse. In fact, I'd offer up that Michael Vick would be just as appalled as the majority on this forum are regarding Jeremy's abuse--Michael V has at least has owned up to his transgressions, paid a very dear price and turned his life around. Far different than our baby Jeremy who see's nothing wrong with abuse of animals.

Brandon said...

Ruth, the problem with Jeremy is that he is never made to be held accountable for anything. Mom defends him because she is terrified of one of her babies being mad at her and Matt fixes Jeremy messes or spins it because he does whatever it takes to make the family marketable.

Jeremy never needs to do anything. Doesn't own his behavior. Not made to feel shame or apologize.

Lauren said...

I used to like Jeremy but being mean to animals is one thing that ruins a person for me.

Rap541 said...

I didn't forgive Michael Vick. I think it's disgusting that people fawn over him because he can throw a football and ignore all the animals he got his jollies fighting and destroying in dog fights.

Maybe if Jeremy wasn't *abusing animals* people wouldn't be saying he thinks *abusing animals* is cutesy cool cute.

Ruth? Do you agree that perhaps Jeremy shouldn't be grinning and *taking pictures to make memories* as his best friend throws his pet cat at the ceiling? Or was he being a *good person* when this happened?

Ruth? Did Jeremy *do good*? Or did Jeremy *do wrong*? If the answer is "yes, it was wrong" then pray tell, should we all sit silent and praise the *boy* (Jeremy isn't man enough to be responsible after all, he's a widdle baby boy) for doing something we all agree is wrong?

Maybe we should be praising him so his precious self esteem isn't damaged? Yay Widdle Baby Jer-Bear, you sure hurt cats good!

Poor Jeremy! How dare people hold an adult man responsible for his stupid actions that he photographs.

Poor Widdle Jer-Bear is clearly the victim here! Thanks Ruth, for setting us all straight! ;)

Jackie said...

Rap: I think the argument here is that Michael V. did indeed pay the price ultimately for his sins and no, I never thought what he did was ok, acceptable or just a lapse in judgment. I think we, as humans do indeed need to realize that he paid dearly and move forward; otherwise, we're believing we're better and without blemish. Michael's animal abuse was awful and he and us realize that. On the other hand, Jeremy thinks he's without blame and his attitude is that he's untouchable and this is just simple fun. That's what's unacceptable to me and just simply abhorrent regarding him and the entire Roloff clan.

Sherrie said...

I agree that this cat throwing is stupid, but it isn't cruel or abusive and to compare it to what Michael Vick did is irresponsible.

Aidan said...

It amazes me that some people are trying to defend such actions with "boys will be boys" or ""they didn't hurt the cat" or saying we're blowing this out of proportion.

Boys being boys is roughhousing, getting dirty, building stuff, breaking down stuff and has nothing to do with abusing animals. 20 year olds should know better and I hope they both get in serious trouble.

Even if they tossed the cat from 2 feet off the ground into a giant pile of down-pillows, they're TOSSING A CAT AROUND. Can't wait to hear Matt try and spin out of this one, because we all know Jeremy will never (be able to) comment on it.

Emma said...

I can't believe some people defended this behavior. This is unacceptable. I don't care who they might be. Animal abuse is not okay. To those who wrote to TLC and Matt, I applaud you. I also applaud the ones who sent these pictures to PETA. People as disgusting as they are do not deserve to get special treatment. If the media can rip apart celebrities for being "scandalous," I can't imagine what they'd do to a famous person abusing animals. (They can't possibly be considered celebrities...famous yes. Celebrity, no.)

Peter said...

Rap541, Are you comparing what Vick did to what appears to be, shameful but playful tossing of a cat in the air? That's a disgusting comparison.

If Jeremy were my son and I saw these pictures first I'd tear a strip off his hide to make him feel as small and meaningless as possible then I'd throw him out into the gutter where he belongs, I'd then disown him and tell him he's no longer welcome in my home and just to prove my point I'd throw out all of his belongings get rid of any photographs of him I have and sell off his cars and keep the money as back rent.

People who abuse animals are just slightly above men who beat and abuse women or molest children. No sympathy from me at all for Jeremy and Mueller, they are swine of the lowest kind.

What Vick did was obviously worse, but lets not minimize it. Being mean to animals is being mean to animals.

I was wondering how the people that defend the Roloffs were going to defend them for doing something that the majority of people detest.

Rap541 said...

Peter - you might want to ask Ruth that question since she's the one who made the Michael Vick comparison.

And if you think tossing a cat is "playful" then you're clearly condoning Jeremy and Mueller's animal abuse. Tell me Peter, after a hard day's work, do you throw your cat up into the ceiling for kicks? And grin? And take pictures of it?

Since you think it's "playful", perhaps you'd like to share your own photos of yourself "playing" with your cat?

But back to your point - point your "I'm disgusted" finger at Ruth since Ruth is the one who brought Michael Vick into the discussion with her accusation of hypocrisy - but she's taking the Roloff side so you won't admit you've made a mistake. ;)

Dios Mio said...

I wonder if Jeremy would like it if Molly or Jacob were to throw his precious Rocky down a flight of stairs?

I'm sure he wouldn't but not because he "loves animals" and more because he's a selfish pig who only cares about himself and things that he considers "his".

And I'm sure that Meuller wouldn't like it is someone took his precious little mutt and went to town on it with their foot just for "something to do".

Timothy said...

People trying to downplay obviously have an agenda. Playful? They aren't throwing it from a high rise?

What will it take for some you people to criticize the Golden Boy? Jeremy was wrong. Mean. He was not being a good person when he took photos of his best friend throwing the family cat to the ceiling.

If you need an education, throwing a cat upwards to the ceiling is not healthy for a cat. It's mean from both physical and emotional levels. Filming something being thrownand its reaction is funny? There are some sick people wanting to protect Jeremy.

Christine said...

Steve, now that you mention it, I pray that Mueller and Jeremy haven't thrown the poor cat off the roof since we know the kids like to go out the window and jump off themselves.

Like Rap said, if this is what they take pictures of for fun, what do they do that they don't film? I really wouldn't put that past them.

David said...

Katie O, classic blame the messenger. You can't accuse people of lying, blame the messenger. There is nothing for Spirits to make look bad. What is there is what people are upset about.

People don't think Mueller is skinning the cat. It is the act of Mueller throwing the cat in the air and Jeremy taking pictures of it that people are upset about.

I hate to think about what the people who are defending Jeremy and Mueller are doing to their own pets.

Rap541 said...

Steve - what would Mueller and Jeremy need to do to the cat to make it meanspirited and wrong?

Since you believe throwing the cat to the ceiling isn't outragous or abusive?

Just two twenty year old "boys" having a *boyish laugh? And since they *don't like* cats, per pal Samatha P, its sorta ok to abuse cats?

I love the Christian view that its ok to torment animals if you don't like that particular sort of animals!

Katie O - maybe Jeremy shouldn't grin and allow his BFF to throw his cat if he doesn't want people to think he gets his jollies tormenting pets.

I now officially worry for Rocky when the end times come since Matt already thinks blowing the dog's brains out like Old Yeller is awesome pet ownership so sending Mr Scruffyface Sadist to the barn with the dog doesn't bode well for Rocky.

But at least Mueller and Jeremy will get a kick out of it since tormenting pets makes them smile like schoolboys!

Bob said...

What a shock that Dana and Judy B won't dare criticize the holy one Jeremy. Like someone else said, if this were Jacob and Levi throwing cats at the ceiling there would be an outrage from you -- and they are 14. Jeremy and his friend are in their 20's. This isn't a case of "children not knowing better", these are grown men being cruel to animals and it is not acceptable. Someone should call PETA the ASPCA and other animal protection groups. Also someone (everyone) should bring this up at the next Amy coffee chat and see how she defends this.

To all the people defending Jeremy and Mueller's despicably evil behavior towards an innocent cat I propose this:

What if those photos were of Jacob and one of his friends or Molly and some of her friends doing something mean to Rocky just because "it's fun"?

Would you be singing the same song?

My bet is that you would be screaming for Jake or Molly's head on a silver platter because you're hypocrites.

When Jeremy does something wrong you all jump on here and defend him saying that "he's just a boy having fun" or that "you Jeremy haters just don't understand how much he loves god" or in the case of his obvious use of racist and homophobic language you all said "he doesn't mean it and should be pardoned because he's such a sweet innocent christian boy".

But when it's were Molly or Jacob being talked about in a good way you come on here and cut them down by marginalizing them and comparing their much more impressive achievements to Jeremy being on the "all star team" in a tiny private high school league with only 8 schools in it or being on a hobby "first division" soccer team that anyone with fifty dollars and a set of cleats can join along with bumbling his way through a second rate community collage (like he did in high school) and spending his time when he's not a part time student playing like a five year old with his best buddies.

Ignorance is never justified and Jeremy is plenty ignorant (just look at the choices he makes in who he listens to when it comes to religion) along with apparently being someone who enjoys abusing animals.

There is so much about Jeremy that is ugly and vile but you refuse to see it or hear about it.

Like that old adage goes: see no evil hear no evil speak no evil do no evil.

Ah. I see. So a *little* bit of cruelty is okay, got it. Just so I'm clear on the concept, could you define when "okay" cruelty becomes "unacceptable" cruelty? You know, so I can enjoy myself scaring and tormenting defenseless animals, but still be a morally good Christian person and all, like Jer and his bud. Thanks!

"Truly I say to you, Inasmuch as you have done it to one of the least of these my brothers, you have done it to me." Toss that cat! Yay Jesus!

Deb said...

Robert, that (Mueller as a bad influence) has been something I've thought about.

I think it's worth noting that every time Jeremy gets into trouble, it is doing something with Mueller.

I'm not giving Jeremy a pass because he's not 5 and old enough to make his own choices, but there is a pattern that Jeremy is at his most obnoxious when he's with Mueller...unfortunately that appears to be nearly every hour of every day.

I agree Matt and Amy should have nipped that in the bud many many years ago. I consider it a big failing in their parenting that they continue to welcome Mueller into their home and allow him to influence their youngest.

Jeanie, I don't understand why some people like yourself are shocked.

If you've paid any attention to the Roloffs over the years and didn't strictly get your news from Matt or their LPBW producer buddies, you wouldn't be shocked at all.

There has always been stuff pointing at the real Jeremy with his buddies being nothing like the image they want people to believe. From the slur language, to the insulting of the fans, to the drinking references, and now mistreatment of animals.

People that thought they knew Jeremy because of how they thought he was from watching him in LPBW makes me understand why Matt laughs at people for being fools for believing the show.

Josh, you throw your baby in the air and let it fall to the ground????? Post pictures of it and child services will be called and you'll be charged with child abuse as you should.

Some of these people are making me sick. They didn't throw it off a bridge, they didn't throw it off a high rise. Throwing a cat 9 or 10 or 11 or 12 ft in the air and taking pictures of it for your amusement is WRONG and it is cruel to the animal.

Anyone that is defending them is sick as far as I'm concerned.

Marissa said...

Josh said...

Be concerned Carol, Be concerned that people are exaggerating a situation in order to create drama. Like everyone else you are trying to create drama. I pray for you and hope that it isn't just a knee jerk reaction on your part to accuse people of cruelty when you do not have all the facts.

Carol said...

Josh, if Mueller is 6-4, his head in the first picture is in between the second and third shelf of the book case.

In the last picture the cat appears to be at the same hight as the top shelf and that's making the large assumption that the picture was taken when the cat was at the height of the throw.

I think you're sick for trying to justify this.

Matt is probably conducting meetings as we speak with TLC's PR team about how to proceed (again). Jeremy has probably been given the same instructions he has been given since he was 3 years old. Don't say a word and we will clean it up for you, little boy.

I am guessing they will do what cowards do and try to ignore it because Roloffs have proven in the past that they don't have the moral character to own up to anything and accept responsibility.

BeckyM said...

@ David - the real interesting thing here is that since TLC no longer does a show on the Roloffs, technically they are on their own to fend for themselves in the PR world.

I highly doubt that TLC is sending lawyers or providing advice anymore. TLC is a shark, who could care less about anyone that has suffered from their corporate greed.

As soon as Big Brother, TLC, is no longer around, these photos surface. For those that think it is coincidental, I write think again.

Can't wait until TLC is no longer sheltering Khate Gosselin from the "reality" of life. The Roloffs are learning it now the hard way - no PR machine to hide your little skeletons in the closet anymore! These photos are not receiving compliments at the websites I've seen them on.

You reap what you sow.

To the people that are upset and were asking what to do. I wrote TLC through viewer relations. They still have Little People, Big World listed as one of the options. I followed the steps and sent them my letter.

http://corporate.discovery.com/contact/viewer-relations/

This was my letter.

I am writing about LPBW and the Roloff family. It has come to light that Jeremy Roloff and his friend Jacob Mueller have been abusing cats. There are pictures of them throwing the cat in the air while they take pictures of it for their own amusement.

The pictures are very disturbing to me and lots of people are outraged at this animal cruelty by *your* tv stars, that you pay, and that you support and that you portray as likeable people on your show.

What does it say about the accuracy of your programming if you hid this side of these people? I don't like being fooled into supporting people that treat living things this way.

I understand that although the LPBW is not currently in production, TLC is planning on future specials with the Roloff family.

I would expect this news would alter those plans.

I watch many other TLC programs, but I will stop watching TLC forever if the network supports the Roloff family when people now know that the *Real* reality is that Jeremy Roloffs and friends you filmed and took on vacation are abusing animals. I hate to think of what they are doing to animals that they aren't taking pictures of.

I look forward to your response. I hope TLC is taking this matter seriously as anyone with ethics and compassion should and will not support the Roloff family in the future.

samuel said...

Lindsey, I hope you realize this letter only helps the Roloff's. TLC is a a business and controversy helps ratings. Why else would they put Sarah Palin on their air? The more you post and write letters, the more it helps them. The fact that this blog is still discussing the Roloff's almost 4 months after the last show was on is really telling.

Carol said...

Lindsay, I wrote a hand-written letter that I am dropping off at the post office in the morning.

I want to see PETA and the ASPCA protesting at Roloff Farms during pumpkin season thereby disrupting Matt's ability to profit off of their whole fake image as a "good christian family".

If the general public in the area actually knew what kind of vile disgusting behavior that Jeremy indulges in I'm sure that they would avoid going to Roloff Farms like the plague and would head to other local pumpkin patches or to the local Safeway or Whole Foods.

The only way to teach selfish narcissists like Matt and spoiled brats like Jeremy a lesson is to take away the one thing that matters more to them than anything else: their money.

Brandon said...

A pile of laundry my foot. Some people just can't dare say "Jeremy was wrong".

Did they talk to the cat about he feels about being launched by big strong Mueller? It's common sense to see what was going on. Now the Roloff damage control crew are grasping at straws.

Samuel, if the Roloffs did what you say they did, they are even more sick and twisted than I thought. They throw the cat in the air...because they are so desperate for attention they want people to get upset?

Is that on the checklist of being a good Christian man, Samuel? Let's throw the cat in the air because hopefully we will upset people, get attention and maybe we can exploit it to make some money for ourselves. Just as Jesus taught....

Carol said...

Samuel, you are sick person. Throwing a cat is WRONG. What is your problem?

Doing this to a defenseless animal because they want to get bad publicity and negative attention is even more psychopathic than previously thought.

David said...

Samuel - I don't know if you realize it, but suggesting that the Roloffs throw cats around because they are such attention whores that they want to offend people is more of an insult on the Roloffs character and morals as human beings than anything anybody else have said about them.

Samuel, is this Matt Roloff's official story? That he endorsed staging animal abuse to get attention? Thats really "lol".

And if that is what the Roloffs do - disregard common decency to stage animal abuse, can we all please stop calling them good Christians? With kind loving hearts?

Matt? Decent people don't "pretend" to torture cats to get attention and money.

Mind you, I think Samuel is just lying so Jeremy and Mueller don't have to take responsibility for their animal torment fun.

Since Matt owns Jeremy's manhood, when will *Matt Roloff* be endorsing the "we made pretend animal torture films to twist the public's tails, ain't I a widdle stinker? LOLS!" storyline? I see a lot of random anons... I don't see any Roloffs standing up for themselves and explaining how they wanted attention and this was the only way...

Btw - I think we should all apply Occam's Razor to this. The most obvious answer to what we see in the photos is that Mueller and Jeremy were getting some kicks torturing the family cat and were dumb enough to take pictures. The convoluted, two days later excuse of "we did it to wind up the public and the cat was a stunt cat and all precautions of safety were taken, you stupid overreacting fools" seems a wee bit too little too late especially since no one in the Roloff household is willing to endorse it personally.

@ Carol - corporations like TLC care only about the bottom line. If the Roloffs are an inconvenience to them, they won't be spending money on them. That is why in a way I AM GLAD about the cat story coming out - this damages the Roloffs' saleability and will lessen TLC's interest in them.

Personally, being "under contract" just means that TLC can stop the Roloffs from hawking themselves to another network (this is how they have prevented Jon Gosselin from being in the media). It doesn't mean they care.

When I look about I don't see TLC PR finding quality, national outlets for the Roloffs to be interviewed or publicized. When was the last time they were in a NATIONAL media (not hometown or local) such as People magazine, any of the talk shows (i.e. The View), any talk/variety shows....?

What we get is Matt's Facebook postings, home video, and Amy's desperate attempt to stay relevant with her LITTLE talk show. Look at the numbers that tune in - they may seem large to the average person but these numbers don't support a television show (and TLC saw this and cut them off from the gravy train).

Lack of their publcity shows clearly that TLC has no reali interest in promoting or protecting the Roloff brand.

You all are a sick bunch of effs. Nobody here cares about that cat. Even Spirits had angel visions when those pictures popped up. Everyone is trying to get their 2 cents in because they think they have 'something important' to say? BS everyone here is trying to get their own attention. Spirits would toss their cat off a cliff to have a tv show and the money that comes with it. The river of jealously that runs through the BS here is deep and wide. "Do a show about us, we want to be on tv. We'll do and say anything..." Lol, Spirits tell them how this is all a part of the TLC stealth publicity machine.

Is it coincidence that both Jeremy and Mueller's Facebook profile pictures are of them embracing animals? Jeremy hugging the Roloff dog Rocky, and Mueller on a donkey. Can anyone say damage control?

Allison - are Jeremy and Mueller also a "sick bunch of effs"? After all, per Samuel, this was all so they could get attention and be back on tv....?

Btw - I know the theory is "All publicity is good publicity" but really, if Matt's master plan is to stage animal abuse to get his tv show back on the air, he's not the business man he claims to be. What next? Staging a drunken rape "to get people talking"?

Allison,

Is this really what it has come down to? If you don't endorse Jeremy Roloff and Jacob Mueller throwing a cat in the air for their entertainment, than *you* are sick and jealous?

And I realize that you're resorting to the 'distract by attacking' method of defense, but no...I would not "throw my cat (or any cat) off a cliff" for "a tv show and money..."

Imagine that, there are actually people in the world that believe throwing a cat in the air is wrong.

Apparently pet abuse is Jeremy loving Jesus and showing us his great big loving heart, Spirit.

Matt sure has NOTHING to say about how he has no problem with this. :)

Funny that - I mean, we're all just stupid chumps for falling for the staged animal abuse that is gonna rocket the Roloffs back on tv!

Lindsay, I wrote too. I can't believe there are people that think this is acceptable.

I lost all respect I had for Jeremy. I knew Jeremy sometimes did stupid things, but I never thought he had a bad heart that he would get off on being mean to a cat.

Timothy said...

I don't know why anyone is surprised. It's not like there wasn't warning signs that Jeremy and Mueller are nasty jerks when they hang out.

For guys that claim they love Jesus so much they sure do a lot of mean things that aren't very "Christ-like".

What Jeremy and Mueller are doing in the picture is so SICK.

No if and ands or buts. They are sick. It makes me very upset.

Hey Allison:

Would you be singing the same tune if those pictures were of Jacob or Molly abusing Rocky and Mueller's little dog?

People who abuse animals in any way are lower than scam artists who steal from the elderly and slightly above murderers/pedophiles on my list.

You make me sick, defending someone who abuses animals for fun shows the kind of low despicable and amoral person you really are.

You should be ashamed of yourself for even defending Jeremy's behavior.

Brandon said...

Vic, they probably would. It's not about dogs vs cats.

These people with the Roloff agenda would defend the Roloffs no matter what they do. Look at what Samuel is suggesting. That it is OK to do anything as long as you get attention/money.

They have no morals. Just like the Roloffs...
