Jeremy and Audrey Roloff's Wedding Video and Blog Of Their Move to LA

Jeremy and Audrey  Roloff have shared their Wedding video that they had put together. It was made by "Moving Picture Weddings".

The 2:53 video includes different parts of the wedding that viewers did not see in the wedding episode that was aired on TLC -- More of Jeremy and Audrey's vows are heard in this video and a bit more of the speeches.

Watch the video here

In other Jeremy and Audrey news, they left Oregon for their apartment in LA.

Unfortunately, it did not get off to a good start as Audrey tweeted that she broke her foot 10 minutes into unpacking the Uhaul.

http://twitter.com/audreybotti

"God must just likes to bless me with lots of stories... Broke my foot 10 minutes into unloading the u hual..."

There also are pictures on the photographer's website/blog.

http://montanadennisblog.com/?p=3814

Audrey tweeted and Instagrammed more about her broken foot.

Already dreaming about being back here.... On Friday Jeremy and arrived at our appartment in LA. 15 minutes into unloading the u-hual, I rolled my ankle on the curb while carrying in our mattress. A couple hours later I went to the urgent care only to see the line through my broken right foot on the x-ray results. I left with crutches. Oh the familiarity.... The next day Jeremey worked an all-day job which left me at our appartment alone with no power, no food, no hot water, no internet, no where to sit and unable to leave or accomplish anything. HUMBLING. Then I come to find out that I can't start my job until my foot is completely healed, 3 weeks. Through blurry eyes I hear The Lord whisper, "don't let Satan get a 'foothold.' I am writing your autobiography. It's a book of relentless stories, and I am gifting you with a voice to share them in My name." Ok Lord, I will. www.aujpoj.com (once I have internet and can post them) But I still hate crutches. Hate. #alwaysmore #aujpoj #journeyofjerandauj

Audrey also just posted about their move to LA on her blog. You can read Audrey's blog here: http://www.aujpoj.com/2014/10/19/larchives/

So Beautiful! Jeremy and Audrey are the best couple!

That 3 minute video was better than the hour episode.

No fake drama. Just Jeremy, Audrey and their marriage for God.

Judy said...

I love it. It's very moving.

Does someone want to count the number of times God is mentioned?

I hope certain Jeremy and God hating posters and reviewers watched.

JEREMY'S VOWS DID MENTION GOD!

They were just edited out of the show due to time restrictions.

You need to be deaf or dumb or blind to not see how Jeremy and Audrey put God first.

Also I can't help but notice the other great part of the video...absolutely no Jacob.

No Jacob in Jeremy and Audrey's official wedding video. They did it right.

Angela said...

Jeremy and Audrey are an example to everyone (except for bashers like Jacob).

How can you watch that video and not be inspired? They have a relationship that everyone should seek. It's all about Christ.

Greg said...

Can someone answer me how Jeremy and Audrey "put God first"?

Really. I see this said over and over again. Why? How? Just because they shout out to Jesus? Do they sell their possessions to help the poor?

What exactly do they do "for God"?

Laura said...

That's why Jeremy and Audrey have the support of their Christian fans.

No matter what some want to say, Jeremy and Audrey put God on the forefront of their wedding and in their relationship/marriage.

What great memories they have and I'm glad they didn't let Jacob ruin it.

Carly said...

I love the video. I cried!

Denise said...

God Bless Jeremy and Audrey.

THAT is what fans love and expect from the Roloffs.

How can Jacob not want to be closer to God after witnessing to people begin their live together with Jesus as the focal point?

Audrey is really gorgeous in this video.

Thank you Jeremy and Audrey for sharing. God will bless their marriage.

Everything else aside... Those two do make a cute couple and I hope everything works out well for them in LA.

Jer and Audrey should be emulated by all the 20 somethings and under crowd.

TML fan, to be honest, I got sick of Jeremy and Audrey and their non stop #roloffwedding

Even now that the episode is done, they are still on it.

Sorry, but I think they are self-absorbed. My friend got married. He didn't go on non stop about it.

They act like nothing else in the world matters and the whole world should care about their wedding and marriage.

They didn't cure cancer. They got married, something everybody can do (well, except if you're gay in some states).

And yet the blessed Christians didn't choose to air their Christian vows on the tv show.

Why?

A guess? *Money*

Seriously folks - Matt and Amy control the show and this was edited out. *Think about it*.

Jeremy and Audrey put god first as long as it doesn't affect the money. Jeremy was on board with God being excised from his vows for public viewing.

It's incredibly noticeable that in comparison to their real vows, that they didn't shout out to God on tv.

WHy not? Aren't they loud and proud? Why would they be content with God being edited out?

I mean, I know why - money - I just want to see the Christians twist themselves into a knot explaining why Jeremy was fine with his vows being edited to be more godless friendly. :)

Lynn C said...

Jeremy and Audrey are marvelous. Both sets of parents should be proud they raised such good Jesus loving kids.

Rap541, Jeremy is not the editor of the show. I did hear Audrey talk God on the episode. The tv episode also didn't televise Audre's sister's speech. Do you think that's because of anti God agenda?

I don't get you. If you think TLC wants to appeal to non Christians (ridiculous because the base is Christian) why wouldnt they make Godless Jacob the focus?

Rap541 said...

Jeremy is not the editor of the show.

No, but his mom and dad are executive producers and have editorial control.

I don't get you, Lynn - if you think *Jeremy* is pushing a God filled agenda, why wouldn't he want his vows to God aired? Why would he be ok with them being cut?

Personally I think TLC's agenda is about making money - you and various others have been the ones insisting the show is for Christians, so why are YOU ok with the show being edited to be more secular?

PJ said...

First of all we don't know how many fans are Christian. Nielsen ratings doesn't ask that question of it's households (we used to be a Nielsen family).
Second reality shows have had a history of downplaying religion, even with the Duggars, in order to appeal to the largest audience. And nobody knows who's really first in Jer and Auj's lives if you don't live with them. We only know what they tell us. So don't assume they're such fabulous Christians unless you actually know them.
Lastly Matt and Amy seem to have some input in the editing and since they barely remember their youngest child he'll never be the main focus (unless it will make Matt more money).

Justin2 said...

Rap makes a good point except for the fact that they did leave the mentions of Jesus and God in her vows but I know Rap will say she wasnt a Roloff at the time and it does kinda make sense when you look at it in that respect..they left her mentions of them in because she wasnt a Roloff at the time and most likely because she asked for them to keep that in.
The only inkling Jeremy had about God and Jesus in the show was when he started crying when Audrey mentioned them in her vows to him. Jeremy could've easily just asked for them to leave it in and it really wouldnt have mattered anyways because most of the people who watch the show are Christian people anyways..but then the money comes involved because not everyone who watches the show is Christian. So its a fine line there in my opinion.

Needless to say, now we have all heard (at least the people who post on this site) that Jeremy has FINALLY mentioned the word God out of his mouth so nobody can complain about that anymore!:)

Rap541 said...

Both sets of parents should be proud they raised such good Jesus loving kids

And Matt and Amy are liable as bad parents for raising an atheist, correct?

Or is this a "When it makes Matt and Amy look good, they are responsible for how the kids turned out, but if it's bad, it's not their fault and Jacob's been a full grown man since he was 12 anyway so Matt and Amy are off the hook for how he turned out" arguement?

Ever think Jacob might have turned out better if his parents hadn't publically and openly declared themselves done and empty nesters when he was 12?

J45 said...

Jer [and Audrey] should be emulated by all the 20 somethings and under crowd.

Oh yes, all 20 somethings and under should throw cats and call people n*ggers and f*gs! Just imagine how wonderful a world we would live in! *sarcasm*

J45 said...

@Lynn C - why wouldnt they make Godless Jacob the focus?

Although this question wasn't directed at me, I must say: an episode surrounding the Jake/Christianity/etc etc would be very interesting and attract a lot of viewers, imao, but as it stands, Jacob refuses to be on the camera for any longer than a few minutes, and that's quite obvious.

J45 said...

@Angela - "They have a relationship that everyone should seek. It's all about Christ." - Why can't it be up to each individual couple determine what is most important to them in life, and seek that? Why is there a "right way" to be happiest?

@Denise - How can Jacob not want to be closer to God after witnessing to people begin their live together with Jesus as the focal point? - Perhaps Jake holds his own to his beliefs, and is sure enough in what he beliefs not to rethink his religious choices? Just as Christians here don't feel the need to reevaluate their religious choices, neither does Jake. Perfectly fair to me. Personally, I think it takes an inner strength to stay true to what he [Jacob] believes, and not to be swayed by others. I don't see anything wrong with Jacob seeking his own spiritual truth; I think it will satisfy him much more than pretending to be something he's not, and his beliefs aren't hurting anyone thus far (because I don't think his rudeness has anything to do with his beliefs, I honestly don't think he'd act any differently if he considered himself a Christian.)

J45 said...

Lynn C - "Jeremy and Audrey are marvelous." I must admit, the wedding was touching and beautifully done, and I think it's wonderful that they're happy and committed to God. (And yes, I can applaud Jer & Auj of their commitment to God, without actually agreeing with their convictions).

"Both sets of parents should be proud they raised such good Jesus loving kids."
I can't comment on Audrey, but I don't think a "good kid" (Jer) would be calling people n*ggers and f*gs and throwing cats, but that's just my 2 cents.

Jesus-loving, sure. But what else has Jer done to prove he is a good person?

Brandon said...

J45, it's been said for a long time that the real things in the Roloffs lives would make for a good show, but of course the show is fake.

A show about all the stuff online with Jacob would be great. Very interesting. But obviously it doesn't happen for several reasons.

Honestly Justin, I think you sometimes forget that this has been going on for a long time. I've been told since Jeremy was 17 and calling people faggotts and niggers that when he was doing so, it was because he was a Christian, a proud Christian walking in Jesus's steps and proud to stand up and say he was against homosexuals. Seriously, that has been the justification for Jeremy using hatespeech for YEARS.

That's why I find it so unusual that a Christian, who I am actually told starts every morning by falling to his knees and giving glory to Christ and ends every evening by falling to his knees and giving glory to Christ was NOT ONCE ever shown saying "Guys, hold up, time for me get down on my knees and praise Jesus". If Christ is such a big part of Jeremy's life that a)he's contantly praising Jesus to his pals and b) he is constantly openly and publically demonstrative of his faith.... my question is why is he never ever shown praying, praising God, going to church, doing anything of faith on the reality show.

Why? Why is it such a secret as depicted on the show?

Again, I know why - despite all the teeth gnashing and caterwauling, TLC is looking for a secular audience and Jeremy bible thumping would make him a lot less appealing. And Matt and Amy have creative control and don't insist that Jeremy's religious side - despite how much the Christian fans would enjoy it - be depicted. And Jeremy agrees because Jeremy just aired an episode of his wedding where his religious vows were excised.

Dangle a dollar and the Roloffs shut up about their faith. Sorry, I'm tired of seeing them get credit for it - Hell, Jacob catches flak for being an atheist or deist or whatever... but poor precious widdle Jeremy still won't make his fans proud by clearly and publically stating he is against homosexuality due to his Christian views. Don't tell me he's standing up proud when he is fine with his faith being hidden.

I'm genuinely curious how Audrey will handle this issue.

Jeremy and Audrey are so beautiful together. Their video and pictures were very touching.

Jacob is a douchebag for not putting on a good face for the wedding.

I bet Audrey's brother can't stand Jacob.

Justin2 said...

Rap, as shocking as it may be, I agree with you on this subject and honestly your point is proven on their wedding video. Admittedly I think their wedding video was really nice and it looked like an incredible wedding and yes you can even tell how much Jeremy and Audrey love each other in the video.

All that being said, Jeremy openly mentioned God in this private video, but he has never said anything close to it on the show as Rap says. Although I personally do not care what his views are or how proud he is of them, Rap does have a point saying it has to be the money as to why he keeps silent cause he has now been seen talking about it in private.

I asked a few items ago (I'll look back for the date and time, when I have time) the same question I'm asking again.
IF Jeremy is not the editor of the show, as has been pointed out, and IF TLC is looking for a secular audience, which has been mentioned, and IF Jeremy does not mention his beliefs because of the censure of TLC AND the Executive Producers (mom and dad), the HOW STRONG IS HIS RESOLVE?
Yes, Jeremy retweets bible quotes on his Twitter. Yes, Jeremy gives thanks to jesus on a private video. But the quesiton has always been, why not on a reality show? And if not, then why not? Would it be better to have Jeremy stand up for Jesus and tell his parents, "Look, if I can't be prouid of my faith and my trust in the Lord on TLC, then you can have your stupid TV show wihtout me in it. Oh, and have a nice day."
Now, if he actually did that and plastered THAT all over his media outlets, I honestly think more people would have some respect for his beliefs and how he stands tall for them. Just like people have respect for Jacob for his beliefs and how he stands tall for them.

Wouldn't that be a peach? The supporters and zealots and church trolls would have an absolute heyday putting Jeremy on a pedestal. Acclaims such as, "See? See Rap541???? Jertemy did NOT sign a contract with TLC because his belief in jesus and in god's plan for him and his wife will carry the day. He doesn't need or want ANY money from the secular TLC network, he is percectly willing to live on the love of jesus and complete trust in god."
I think that would be fantastic. I really do. There are channels on cable and sattelite TV devoted to differtent faiths, he would, I think be a candiddate for him and Audrey to carry their message on those channels. Give it some thought.

I'm going to be a grouch also, how long are they going to go on about their wedding?

It's almost been a full month and still every tweet or Instagram post from Jeremy and Audrey is the wedding.

When will they get over themselves and cool it? They aren't the only people to ever get married.

Lisa said...

It is great to see that Jeremy and Audrey love God. They made their vows all about Him, which is the way it should be.

In this age of moral decay and homosexual weddings, people like Jacob scratching away at God, it is heart warming to see Jeremy and Audrey.

PJ said...

Really Lisa? How is it they chose to move into one of the most gay-friendly cities in America?

Lisa said...

PJ, anybody who lives in LosAngeles condones gays?? Ridiculous. I'll remind you that the majority of California residents a few years ago voted down homosexual marriage.

Audrey and Jer's church which played a big part in their relationship makes it very clear that gays are sick and going to hell unless they let Jesus cast their demons out.

Auj also retweeted tweets highlighting the liberal media's bias in the difference of their reporting of Michael Sam VS Tim Tebow.

Rap541 said...

Lisa, when have Jer and Auj stood up for Christ, their god, and their church and said the same thing?

If this is what they believe, why won't Jer and Auj say so in a public forum?

Oh right, money is more important than their beliefs - funny how Proud to Stand Up For Jesus Jer was perfectly fine having his publically seen on national tv vows "god sanitized".

Lisa - if the kiddies won't say it themselves, where they can be held to it, they don't get credit for it. After all, they don't have the chops to handle the consequences and they'd rather have the money than the knowledge they stood up for their beliefs.

PJ said...

Lisa- They were talking about West Hollywood. Not L.A. And yes by and large L.A. is gay-friendly.
As for prop 8 there was a pole a couple years ago and the majority of Californians said they would not vote the same way as of then. Remember back, they anti marriage adverts were largely from large, out of state religions. Not home grown groups. And large parts of California outside of L.A., San Diego and the Bay Area are conservative.
We all shouldn't presume to know what Matt and Amy think about their youngest unless you've personally talked to them about the situation.

So their particular church says:

"makes it very clear that gays are sick and going to hell unless they let Jesus cast their demons out"

Does the church have any evidence to support this claim?

Do all Christians believe this?

What's the prognosis for Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Atheists, left-handed people, pygmies, redheads, Jets fans, night-owls, Kardashians, far-sighted people, zookeepers, Geminis, and ballerinas?

The church has it all figured out?
What if the church is wrong?

What if there was a typo somewhere and it's actually homophobes that are destined to Hell (whatever "Hell" might be)? Oops!

Oh, BTW, I'm not gay, but I do find it ironic that members of one group see fit to judge others yet get upset when a 17 year old judges them.

PJ said...

No, not all Christians think gays are possessed. in fact the Catholic church just had a conclave to discuss better ways to minister to their gay members.
And before anyone goes there, the Catholic church IS Christian.

See the best part is that if you say "Jeremy and Auj believe gays are sick and going to hell, per their religious, and believe gays need their demons cast out" then all the *Christians* will come running to say that even though Jer and Auj attend this church, they CAN NOT be held to saying gays are going to hell and all the haters are wrong.

As long as Jer and Auj sit silent and refuse to state their beliefs (and they are) they don't have to own the negative side of standing up for their beliefs. Aka being held accountable as someone who thinks gays are going to hell etc.

Its the same petty passive aggressive game Matt and Amy play. I don't see why the Christians here are sooooooo pleased as punch that Jer didn't stand up to Matt and AMy and have his beautiful god laden vows aired.... but Jer was content to hide his faith because the Christians here will kiss his ass for hiding.

Lisa said...

If anyone wonders what the Roloffs church, at least Jeremy and Audrey's church while in Oregon, as well as Molly, as well the entire Roloff family at Christmas as well as Jacob's ex girlfriend while she was still dating him, has to say about gays and gay marriage, you can watch this video.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gApYFFuerRY

The other video of John Mark Comer speaking about how gays can be cured if they pray to Jesus has garnered attention, but this video is fabulous as well.

John Mark makes it very clear that gay marriage is opposing God, that Jesus did in fact speak against gays and that gays actively being gay sexually is a sin that would prevent them from being a follower of Christian.

Rap, I know Jeremy and Audrey and I know they fully support John Mark Comer's stance in this video.

I don't care if you don't accept it, they don't need to prove it to you.

Rap541 said...

You know them so you agree and will say with your real name that Jeremy and Audrey believe gay people are going to hell? And are against gay marriage?

If they are *proud* to follow John Mark Comer, why wouldn't you want them to stand up and say so like the adults they theoretically are?

If its an intrinsic part of their life and philosophy, why is it that no one with a real identity will speak to how Christian they are?

I mean really, you're praising them as *fine* Christians - apparently fine Christians duck and hide and sit silent when their actual beliefs come up.... but give them the cover of anonymity and then "the friends" joyfully let us know how Jer and Auj hate gays... all while Jer and Auj sit silent and can, if necessary, deny they ever said such a thing.

That is what you consider outspoken for the Lord? As I have said many times, Jeremy is loud about his love of Christ when its easy... when it might not get him praise, funny how you never hear a peep from him.

Remember Lisa - Jeremy's godly vows were something he didn't want the public to see and he certainly hasn't protested one bit that he would have preferred his religious vows be shown. Dangle a dollar and the Roloffs will shut up - its been proven again.

Please feel free to insist again how refusing to speak for themselves at all and letting anonymous friends let them hide is two Christians loudly proclaiming their faith, Lisa.

"John Mark Comer speaking about how gays can be cured if they pray to Jesus has garnered attention"

Seriously?...How gays can be cured?! That implies something is wrong with them. Is being left-handed something else that needs to be "cured"? I think the percentages are about the same. Should redheads be forced to dye their hair because most of the population are not redheads?

What if I made a video about "how Christians can be cured if they prayed to [insert most any noun here]"? I suspect that would offend a vast majority of Christians.

I don't actually believe Christians need to be cured -- freedom of religion as long as it's not imposed on me. But when I start to hear/read nonsense like "curing" gay people, it's hard not to speak out about the hypocrisy...and that's what leads to the bashing.

Open question to any Christian: If a gay person doesn't harm you or anyone else, why do you care if they're gay? It's their life.

Raymond said...

Anon, gays destroy the moral fabric of society. Jesus said Man to marry woman. It is natural. It is against God's plan for a man to have sex with another man. It is wrong and disgusting.

You know it is bad when even Jacob is on record saying when gays act on their urges, they sin. He also realizes gays have something wrong with them mentally and can't be trusted so he doesn't want to be be friends with them.

Even Jacob who has everything else wrong realizes this.

Anonymous said...

Raymond, something that feels "wrong and disgusting" to you may feel perfectly normal and natural to a gay person. It doesn't mean they're sick and need to be "cured". Maybe they're just wired differently (differently doesn't necessarily mean wrong), just like other traits that distinguish human beings.

How does what two consenting gay people do with their private lives affect you or society as a whole? Is it necessary for all humans to procreate?

Just because some person named Jesus said something 2000 years ago does not necessarily make it correct. That's your opinion and you're certainly entitled to it, but that's not meaningful justification to a large percentage of the human population.

I am curious about your comment that gay people can't be trusted. I don't know what Jacob said -- I'll just assume you quoted him correctly -- but since you appear to be of the same opinion, please enlighten me as to why gay people can't be trusted? What if I blindly said Christian people can't be trusted? I don't actually believe that as I don't associate trustworthiness to religious affiliation, but if I did say that, I would probably offend most Christians and the Anne Bailey's of the world would be furiously typing away at their keyboards.

PJ said...

Raymond, God makes us all the way we are. God doesn't make mistakes so God made some people gay because that is what he intended. Gay people are no more mentally ill than the general population.
In nature a percentage of animals are gay, especially when populations outgrow resources.
Why if Jesus was so against homosexuality do so many Christian churches perform gay weddings?

Oh and I'm really sorry Audrey broke her foot while moving. That must have been awful.

Raymond said...

God does not make people gay. There is no evidence that people are born gay. No evidence at all.

Even if there were or even if you believe someone is gay and thinks they can't change, that is usually because of early childhood experiences. They don't need to act on their urges. Someone just posted a video from the Portland Pastor explaining that when he goes to the beach, he is "attracted" to the beautiful young girls on the beach, but he doesn't act on it because he's faithful to his wife.

Anon, let me put it this way. If you are a normal 17 year old guy, you not going to trust a guy who has shouted that he wants to have sex with guys.

Guys that age lay around and play video games. They run around outside without shirts on. They crash at each others houses.

No normal guy is going to want to be sleeping in the same room with a guy who he knows wants to kiss and have sex with guys.

Jacob tries to dance what he said, but everyone who is not PC and who has a brain knows exactly what he's talking about and on that one point, he is one hundred percent correct.

If even someone like Jacob who has "liberal" views on almost every other issue is uncomfortable being around the perverts (it is not normal, so it is perverted), then that tells you something.

Ecossais said...

How did the "we hate Jacob" squad manage to turn this blog into a "we hate gays debate"?

At the same time they credit god with not letting it rain on the wedding but do not blame him for Audrey's ankle injury.

pj said...

Raymond I'm sorry you're so closed minded. There is evidence that genetics play a role in who is gay, especially in males. And if you were to talk to gay men they will tell you they always knew that they were attracted to other males. Gayness cannot be "cured" it's not a disease and to suggest someone is Perverted because they were born different is incredibly rude. So again Raymond try reading something not published by some crackpot pseudo-christian group and see the truth.

I just read Audrey's blog. I have SO much respect for her.

She is all about God and giving thanks to the Lord.

To those that think Audrey would ever downplay God, I'll highlight many parts of her blog.

" Around 5 p.m. after a tearful and prayerful goodbye with our parents, we began the Journey of Jer and Auj to Los Angeles California, towing our new Jetta TDI sports wagon behind us."

.........................

I had never seen our new apartment because Jeremy found it this summer when he was still in school in Santa Barbara and would drive back and forth to LA searching for our new home. I trust his sense of style and safety too much to doubt I would love it. As we journeyed south we were struck by how grateful we are for what we were leaving behind. It seemed almost silly that we were leaving something so good, and yet something in us told us that this is where we are to go. That God has something for us to DO or BE here, and reminding us that he is a God of provision and his past faithfulness demands our present trust. Because of his past faithfulness to provide for us, we have no reason to undermine Him."

.....................

"As we were making our final push to LA, I was read Hebrews 6:19 where it says “We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor for the soul, a hope that enters into the inner place behind the curtain where Jesus has gone BEFORE us as a FORERUNNER on our behalf."

......................

"With Christ as our forerunner, He goes before us not only to test the conditions, but to make the changes necessary before we head down the ‘slope’ to which he has called us. Even more than that, we have a direct line of communication to Christ our forerunner. On the contrary, ski racers aren’t able to communicate with the forerunners for tips on how to ski the course. But we get to do just that with Christ! Therefore, our confidence should be unwavering, our hope should be steadfast, and we should ski boldly and courageously!"

.............

"Jer helped me up the stairs to our apartment where I sat holding my ankle and dying for ice and Advil. I was out. Soon after this unfortunate event 5 people showed up to help Jeremy finish the task. Praise Jesus!"

............

"The Lord provided yet again, and we were able to stay the night at our landlord’s guest-house because we had no power, hot water, or internet at ours."

.............

"I posted a photo to my instagram during all this craziness, where I shared what the Lord was speaking/is speaking to me through all this.

He whispered, “Don’t let satan get a ‘foothold.’ I am writing your autobiography. It’s a book of relentless stories, and I am gifting you with a voice to share them in My name.”

Ok Lord. I will.

This whisper came from Ephesians 4:26-27. “Do not let the sun go down while you are angry, and do not give the devil a foothold..”

May this blog, and these stories be honoring to you. May Your voice and Your name always be louder than mine. You’ve definitely given me an abundance of stories, I hope that the good ones and the bad ones can bring glory to You."

.........

"*(By the way why when I typed out “satan” in Microsoft Word it underlines red, signifying it is spelt wrong. In spell check it says the “S” needs to be capitalized. But when I type God with a lower case “g” nothing happens… Satan you have no power! Not even in Microsoft word! I rebuke you in the name of Jesus!)"

What more can I say about Audrey? Her faith in the Lord, her positivity, and her Trust in God is wonderful to see.

Judy, I couldn't agree more. Lesser people would turn angry and bitter at God that the start of her life in Los Angeles is not the storybook start I'm sure she had dreamed about, but she always knows to trust in the Lord.

Does anybody else wonder what Jacob REALLY thinks of Audrey (and only to a slightly lesser extent, Jeremy)?

I can only imagine Jacob's response if one of his Asker's had written about "the Lord was speaking/is speaking to me through all this.
He whispered, “Don’t let satan get a ‘foothold.’ I am writing your autobiography. It’s a book of relentless stories, and I am gifting you with a voice to share them in My name.”

I can imagine what Jacob would say/think if someone he wasn't related to had written exactly what Audrey wrote.

Angela said...

Such a contrast between Audrey and Jacob.

Audrey's commitment to God is inspirational.

Thank you Audrey for sharing.

"By the way why when I typed out “satan” in Microsoft Word it underlines red, signifying it is spelt wrong. In spell check it says the “S” needs to be capitalized. But when I type God with a lower case “g” nothing happens…"

I'd assume the same thing would happened if I typed "zeus".

Zeus, for example, is a god who is not named "God." (There are countless different examples, obviously). But basically, it's only logical (to me) that spellcheck would see "satan" as incorrect, but not "god". Because "God" vs. "god" is really all about context.

Audrey is a talented writer and inspirational on how devoted she is to Jesus. She could get into the Ministry but perhaps this is God's plan for her.

@Angela
Audrey's commitment to God is bordering on dangerous obsession.
Hearing voices speaking to you is the first sign of insanity.

Ecossais said...

I am now convinced that Audrey is crazy.
"The Lord provided again"
No he didn't - you are now a true Roloff and scrounged free accommodation from the landlord because god didn't tell you to arrange power and water and (catastrophe) no internet.

Laura said...

I'm genuinely certain you're not a board mod here, Laura, and have no right to tell anyone to shut their mouth.

Explain to me your *right* to tell eccossis to shut up and leave?

Come on... stand up like a Christian and explain how you want others oppressed rather than debate them. Christians hate so well. ANd telling people to shut up and not post is *hating*. Apparently Laura thinks free speech is for Christians who meet her approval only. Lucky the law in the US says different or else we'd be under Christian Sharia law.

Angela said...

It is just like we were saying. It is horrible that Audrey can't open her heart and share her relationship with Jesus without being ridiculed bu ecossais and Jacob's in the world. I am sick of Christians like Audrey always being under attack.

Peter said...

In all honesty real family dinners will be interesting. Not really, because the Roloffs avoid confrontation. Jacob doesn't tell his family what he thinks and they don't talk to him about what he posts.

But talk about 2 extremes.

You have Jacob who thinks the mere concept of prayer and heaven is ridiculous.

Then you have Audrey who thinks she hears God's voice speaking to her and thinks Microsoft's Word auto correct system is a message from Satan...

Jacob is going to need to learn to control his now famous smirk/eyeroll that the gif caught or it could make for some awkward moments.

ecossais said...

@Laura
Unlike a lot of the bible thumpers on here I was brought up to NEVER say I HATE anyone which seems a lot better than the comments from a lot purported Christians on here.

As to scorn - if that is how you interpret my comments - I admit guilt.
I think anyone who hears god speak and gives him credit for what they like and never blame him for what they do not like has a couple of screws loose.

That is my opinion and I will not shut up and just to annoy you more I did not capitalize "god" or "him".

By the way I NEVER said I approved or condoned Jacob's conduct but sympathize with his position. Since Mike died he has had no role model and a mother who says she has an "empty nest" despite his existence.

Raymond: "Someone just posted a video from the Portland Pastor explaining that when he goes to the beach, he is "attracted" to the beautiful young girls on the beach, but he doesn't act on it because he's faithful to his wife."

Wow, this is from a respected pastor? Seriously? So he's patting himself on the back for not cheating on his wife and comparing it to a gay person's urges? That's a pretty flawed comparison. What about when he was single and dating his wife or other women? How come he was allowed to act on his urges but a single, gay person can't act on his urges? That would be the valid comparison.

I won't even address some of the other homophobic nonsense you posted, but you have a right to your opinion and beliefs, just like the pastor, just like Jacob.

Hey Lisa, its been actual days since you claimed to know Jeremy and Audrey personally and I asked you to state your real name so we could have some proof of how Jeremy and Audrey believe in Christ as Jeremy and Audrey won't make public statements themselves.

WHy aren't you standing up and telling us your real name so you can prove to us that Jeremy and Audrey stand with John Mark Comer??

Lisa? Why aren't you willing to stand up where Jeremy and Audrey wont? You claim to *know* - what is your real name so we can ask Matt and Amy and Jeremy and Auj if they know you and if you really know how they would speak?

The next day Jeremey worked an all-day job which left me at our appartment alone with no power, no food, no hot water, no internet, no where to sit and unable to leave or accomplish anything.

So to be clear, Jeremy left his beloved wife, per her, injured, sitting on the floor of a completely empty apartment with no power, nothing to eat, and no way for her go somewhere else.

What a peach! :)

Judy said...

Good Grief, Rap!

Jeremy is working to provide for his wife.

If he elected not to work because of Audrey's injury and stayed home you would have been bashing him for that too.

I understand that Jeremy needs to take what jobs he can get but he should have at least made sure his injured, in a new place wife had food or someone to check in on her.

Jeremy and Audrey have a traditional marriage. Audrey does the womanly things like bake and sew. Jeremy is working.

From Jeremy's twitter today "My wife woke up today just to make me breakfast before work... Woah. She loves me."

Ecossais said...

I mam all confused.
They take a U-Haul loaded with furniture yet Audrey says she is sitting on the floor. I thought she said she hurt her ankle carrying things like the mattress in?
I love the "Oh poor me" angle. (She must have learned that from Matt).
No power, no food, no hot water, no internet, no place to sit and unable to leave.

Is Jeremy so used to TLC organizing everything that he cannot fend for himself.

A U-Haul towing a brand new Volkswagen (Wonder who paid for that)and nobody thought to have the power turned on and internet connected. Why didn't god whisper to Audrey to tell her what needed to be done?

Rap541 said...

Judy - he left his broken legged wife in an empty apartment with no food and no power and no furniture. Per her words.

No food, no electricity and she's sitting on the floor with a broken leg. That's her description.

He couldn't bring a chair in from the Uhaul? Couldn't run down to the store before leaving for the day so the wife had something other than nothing to eat?

I mean, for god's sake, it apparently was so bad she was worried Satan would take her. Per her own words.

And what exactly is his job? Or is he still oddjobbing?

Meredith - did you forget the part where Audrey is also going to be working?

Rap541 said...

PJ - exactly.

If Audrey was left alone in an apartment with no food, no furniture, no power, and a broken foot - and btw I sense this is a somewhat exaggerated tale of woe because it really does make Jeremy look like an asshole - but hell, lets assume Audrey was totally honest.

Her husband left her alone in an apartment with no power, nothing to eat, no furniture to sit on all day to where she was worried about turning to Satan. What part of this am *I* exaggerating? AQUdrey said it - she spent a miserable day with a broken foot, nothing to eat, on the floor of a bare apartment that had no electrical power and that's how Jeremy left her when he walked out of the place that morning.

If I am lying - what am I lying about?

PJ said...

Auj and Jer have a traditional marriage? I thought they moved to LA because she was offered a job.

Ecossais said...

Audrey's story does not make sense.
No furniture in the apartment. What happened to the guys god sent to unload the U-Haul?

No hot water or internet.
She said god had blessed them by getting the landlord to provide temporary accommodation?
Jeremy says she made breakfast in a bare apartment with no utilities?

Marsha said...

Ecossais, I assume time had passed since they were staying in a hotel and Jeremy saying she made him breakfast.

Rap541 said...

I actually wasn't going to go there but...

In her blog, she says she broke her foot and drove herself to urgent care while Jeremy finished unloading the U-Haul and returning it. The picture of the uhaul suggests there was some furniture in it.

So why was the apartment bare with no place to sit? And Audrey and Jeremy both had cars and she was capable of driving herself to urgent care so really, why couldn't she drive down to the corner store for some ice, and some food?

Because seriously, there's some holes in this little tale of woe.

Ecossais said...

@Rap541
This tale of woe is not a TLC production (or is it?) but it sure has all the TLC manufactured signature drama.

Maybe there is a crew secretly filming all this for a future Jer and Auj "reality" show?

Rap541 said...

Hehe maybe eccosis, but honestly I really doubt it. I don't think there's enough audience for two pretentious adults, neither of whom are comfortable being the focus on camera showing us their marriage. There's no hook.

I also actually wouldn't wish that on #themagicaljourneyofjerbearandaujchrist.

Reality shows destroy marriages.

But seriously, Audrey is clearly fibbing about her horrible trials in the completely bare apartment where she had no food, no power and was *trapped*... all despite having a car, being capable of driving herself with a broken foot, and despite all their furniture being unpacked....

Gail said...

I think it's terrible that Audrey, who has tremendous character, is accused of being a liar.

You don't know all the details or the timeline of events.

But there are people already accusing of Audrey of lying. What does Audrey have to gain?

She is a young woman of Christ. She is living to please Jesus and lying about that is not in character.

I think people are just trying to tear down Audrey because she's a shining example of what a Christian woman should be.

Rap541 said...

You don't know all the details or the timeline of events.

Really?

Here's some quotes from Audrey's blog.

Wednesday October 8th My new husband and I set off down the 5 in a 14 foot U-Hual truck packed to the brim with Crate and Barrel boxes, our grand parents furniture, and Jeremy’s motercycle nicely tucked in and covered with quilts to prevent my parents from noticing

The Uhaul had furniture. It also had a separate form of transportation for Jeremy.

15 minutes into unloading the truck I rolled my ankle hard on the curb while helping Jeremy carry in our mattress.

At the very least Audrey had a mattress to sit on.

Jer helped me up the stairs to our apartment where I sat holding my ankle and dying for ice and Advil. I was out. Soon after this unfortunate event 5 people showed up to help Jeremy finish the task. Praise Jesus! They also brought me ice. After we were all unloaded and the truck was empty I drove (barely able to use my right foot…) to the urgent care to get an x-ray. I know my body pretty well from all the running injuries I’ve endured. This wasn’t just an ankle sprain. Jer was going to come with me, but he had to return the U-haul before they closed

Timeframe wise - Audrey is very clear that the Uhaul was emptied into the apartment that evening and that she was capable od driving her car to urgent care by herself. SO not only is there a mattress in the apartment but all of the furniture that was in the uhaul - the uhaul that Jeremy returned that evening.

In the morning Jer left early for a job in Ojai, so I was left at the apt alone with no where to sit, no power, no food, no internet, no hot water, no ice for my foot, no one help, and unable to drive or walk.

Again Audrey's own words in her blog establish the time line. She's also clearly stating that her apartment had nothing to sit on, there was no food and she was unable to drive - despite driving the night before and....

As evening approached, I searched for hotels nearby for us to stay at for the night. Everything was booked in our area because it was a Saturday, so I had to drive with my pathetic foot out by the airport to the cheaper hotels with rooms available. I waited there longing for Jeremy to come home, which wasn’t till around 12:40 p.m.

She is clearly able to drive the same day. She clearly has a car, and she is establishing that this was her first night and day in their apartment.

Gail - what am *I* lying about when I say Audrey is fibbing? About being left alone in an empty apartment with no power, unable to walk, and unable to drive when she is CLEARLY also stating she had the entire uhaul contets inside the apartment and was able to snag a hotel room by *driving* (and no doubt walking)

And what is she to gain by fibbing?

Why a whole lotta people praising her for being so brave in the face of her trials, all alone in her bare apartment that she was trapped in to where her despair almost drove her to Satan until she lets you know how she gutted it out with God.

I'm quoting Audrey - explain to me how she is telling the truth when she says she was unable to drive or walk, but in the next paragraph describes herself walking and driving the very same day? Explain how its true that the furniture from the uhaul was emptied into the apartment the evening before but Audrey was left with nothing but a bare floor to sit on the next morning?

Come on. Explain it to me.

Gail said...

Rap, she drove herself (barely) to urgent care because she didn't know the extent of her injury. You know people can walk on a broken foot before they know how bad it is all the time they are doing more damage.

Then after she knew that it was broke, she was obviously not allowed to drive.

She's not lying and she certainly doesn't need to lie because Christians recognized that she is a loyal follower of Jesus.

Rap541 said...

Again

This is after urgent care, and after she says she was left alone, unable to drive - she was unable to drive yet she drove out to the airport hotel to wait for Jeremy.

I notice you also don't address the furniture being in the apartment the night before Audrey says she was left in the apartment with no place to sit.

How is she not lying when she is clearly in her own words saying two different things?

Pj, thank you - I don't pretend to be a Christian but I do know a bit about the faith and really, it amazes me how people posting here think they're acting like good Christians by pointedly driving the kid away.

I personally think Jacob is having a typical teenage moment about his parents religion.

Oh I don't think its a waste of time eccosis, because it points out how obstinate and silly and willfully ignorant some people posting here are.

To be blunt, all I think Audrey is guilty of is being a bit whiny and dramatic and lying by exaggeration to get herself some attention and praise. By her own words she wasn't left alone, immobile, in a bare apartment with no food and no ability to leave... because she clearly states that yes, she did get into the car and drive to the airport hotel and their possessions were indeed unloaded into her apartment.

Without being too judgmental about the power and internet situation - I do wonder what the laws are in cali, because here in the AZ, you can't even move in your stuff until you prove you've had the power turned on.

Gail obviously is refusing to acknowledge what Audrey has written because it proves my point.

Debbie said...

PJ, What we are happy about is that (like Anne has said many times) Jacob is no longer free to intimidate Christians like he was.

You're blind or stupid if you can't notice the difference pre-Anne and post-Anne. The fact that Jacob is deleting stuff after his temper tantrum anger tweets tells you that he knows things are different now.

Yes, as a Christian, I am very happy about that.

As far as "driving Jake away from Christianity forever" sitting quiet as he intimidated Christians by mocking Audrey and what we do wasn't going to bring him to God.

I hope when he hits rock bottom, which I am confident that he will, he will turn to Jesus in the depths of his despair. But it wasn't going to happen by staying quiet as he mocked Christians or by praising him for "being honest" like some were trying to do.

All Jacob needs to if he wants to see what Christianity is all about is look at Jeremy and Audrey for examples.

PJ said...

Debbie,
I am neither blind or stupid. I don't read Jake's twitter, not being interested in what a 17 year old has to say. The only thing I see is that TLC or Amy and Matt threatened Jake to stop.
How is he intimidating anyone? Is he cruising the streets and threatening to beat anyone up if they don't give up religion? I sincerely doubt it. What your lot keeps missing is that he has a right to express his opinion no matter what anyone else thinks.
I sincerely hope that Jake has a successful life and if he turns to religion it's because of a true epiphany of faith.
i also hope all the supposed "Christians" who have posted here have an epiphany of true faith and see the error in their thinking. Christianity is a religion of love and caring not vitriol and hate as it has been displayed here.
As far as Jer and Auj being good examples. Jer is an animal abuser and bigot. Auj has apparently been fibbing (I hesitate to say lying only because she may have been given Vicodin for her foot and it can change your perception of reality). I wouldn't want my kids to follow either one.

Rap541 said...

Yeah, I am not sure "intimidating Christians" is a valid arguing point here.

I personally don't keep a constant watch on his ask.fm (its really kinda immature all around) but I have never seen or heard of Jacob insisting someone else change their views or Jacob threatening someone (aka intimidating).

PJ - I think Audrey is fibbing, or lying, in the sense that her story as provided simply isn't true as to the facts. The fact is, she wasn't stuck at her apartment with no furniture and no way to leave. The fact is, on the very same day she was stuck at her apartment with no way to leave due to her broken foot, she clearly states she did leave, and drove, to an airport hotel. She says the uhaul had furniture, and that it was unloaded the night before so it's hard to believe she had no place but the bare floor to sit.

I'm simply tired of hearing how every word out of Audrey's mouth is the truth because she's such a Christian.... and I notice not one Christian will stand up and agree that Audrey can't both be stuck alone unable to drive AND drive herself to the hotel on the very same day she's too injured to leave her bare apartment that wasn't really bare.

Seriously guys - its actually a little pathetic that not one of you that crows how Audrey is a precious Christian who never lies will even concede she had a not perfect moment here. And that by the way, is something that drives people away from the Christian faith - when Christians won't even concede in minor situations that someone isn't on the up and up.

Look at this conversation - I am being yelled at for attacking Audrey because I am pointing out her story can't be true - she can't drive to the hotel and also be unable to drive - but Audrey is a follower of Christ, so Gail insisted this isn't a lie since Audrey loves Jesus and loving Jesus apparently means Audrey gets to lie and be praised for telling the truth.

Its really quite obnoxious.

Again, Audrey has no reason to lie. She is a great Christian. She volunteers her time every summer to help at a Young Life Christian camp to mentor youth.

From everything I read, Jacob's ex girlfriend was very depressed and had been suicidal (is it really surprising that Jacob didn't help?) and Audrey stepped up to introduce Stephanie to Jesus and Stephanie now describes Audrey as her biggest inspiration in life.

Audrey is answering God's calling.

Rap541 said...

It's wrong to call Audrey a liar. I think some people are just confused about what days Audrey is talking about. She knows the story, you don't.

SHelby I will ask you very nicely to point out where I am confused on what day Audrey is speaking of.

I have read her blog - she very clearly states they unpacked the uhaul, she broke her foot, and the next day she was left alone in the apartment, until she drove to the airport hotel and waited for Jeremy.

What sequence of events am I misinterpreting? She clearly states the Uhaul was unpacked the day she broke her foot - that's why she drove herself to urgent care, because Jeremy had to return the empty uhaul.

Therefore she was not left alone in her bare apartment with no furniture. What am I misunderstanding? She is clearly saying the uhaul was unpacked and returned the same day she broke her foot.

She then clearly states the events of "the next day" - that she was left alone in the bare apartment and was unable to drive, and then that evening drove to the airport hotel.

You're twisting yourself in a not to defend her - I am using her blessed true words here - she wrote it not me - how am I wrong?

Why am I the one wrong when I am quoting Audrey? Help me out here - is thre an answer other than "NANANAANA CHRISTIANS ARE NEVER WRONG SHUT UP!"

Because really - she clearly is fibbing about her woes and her situation being so dire. I get it - she's immature and being dramatic - but I refuse to see why I am at fault for pointing out Audrey's tale is full of provable contradictions while Audrey is held up as a precious perfect Christian who can't possibly have lied.

And spare me the "Audrey isn't perfect and no one said she was" crap - you're insisting she can't possibly have lied, that's insisting her religion makes her perfect.

Rap541 said...

Debbie - so Christians are so weak in their faith, they can't be mocked lest they fall to Satan?Really? You seriously think the calls to have Jeremy physically beat Jacob for his views aren't intimidating? But if a Christian threatens for CHrist, its ok to be intimidating? But non Christians need to shut up and never ever say anything other than praise Jesus lest they turn some weak Christian aside?

And you don't realize you're basically on board with oppressing the views of others aka Christian sharia law?

Rap541 said...

It's wrong to call Audrey a liar. I think some people are just confused about what days Audrey is talking about. She knows the story, you don't.

You don't know all the details or the timeline of events.

Audrey is the one writing the story. She laid out the timeline. I am not confused at all. Audrey said they got there, she broke her foot and drove herself to urgent care while Jeremy and five others finished unpacking the Uhaul that had furniture in it per her written words. She then said "the next day" she was left alone in her apartment with nothing to sit on, no food, no electricity and no ability to leave. She THEN said "as evening approached" - and very clearly specified it was the same day by noting how Jeremy met her at the airport hotel after his job and that they had to stay at the hotel that night and the next few nights because of the power issue - so Audrey has indeed set the time frame.

WHat am I lying about?

And you are saying I am lying soi come on Christians... stand up and HATE for Audrey :)

That's what you're doing, you know - Audrey's own words are very clear, I've pointed it out, you can't deny it so you HATE.

Does Christ love you more for calling someone a liar to defend a Christian caught in a fib? Because that's what you're doing :)

Does Christ approve of blaming me for Audrey's words not being true? Because some of you are sure quick to insist *I* must be lying yet you won't prove it.

COme on Christians - prove *I* am lying or admit you are just hating and calling it Christian.

OK I didn't read all of the responses, but surely I'm not the only one who noticed how absurd it is for Auj (stupid nickname) to state the following impossibilities. 1) She heard something "through blurry eyes." Whaaaaaat? 2) Jesus is writing her AUTObiography.

Holy crap. Aside from these 2 ridiculous (yet laughable!) writing blunders, how can anyone be fooled into believing that they're humble??They're anything BUT humble!! Oh and Jacob is a selfish, know it all, condescending prick.. Nothing new there.

PJ said...

Shelby please tell me where I'm going wrong in this timeline.

Day one Jer and Auj begin moving into their new SoCal apartment. During this time she has an accident and hurts her foot/ankle. People come and help Jer carry the furniture and other stuff to the apartment and bring ice for her injury. Later she drives herself to medical care and discovers she broke her foot.
Day 2 Jer has to leave early to get to a job in Ojai. He leaves her with no furniture, no food, no electricity, no hot water,no internet, no way to go anywhere and no ice for her foot. Later that day she drives herself to a hotel (despite not having any way to go anywhere and get food or ice). This is her own timeline and she contradicts herself. No one is making this stuff up except maybe Auj.

Debbie
I'm sorry so many people here are insecure in themselves and their religious choices that anything said by some random guy they don't know is intimidating. And virtually no one on this site actually knows Jake, they only see him on TV. But really, just don't read his stuff. Even by complaining you're giving him just what he wants, attention. It's not like he's following you around and taunting you or intimidating you. He's a random voice on the internet.

Anonymous said...

Oh man, that's rich. No internet? no hot water? she needs sponsors!

Lynn C said...

PJ and Rap, I've read Auj's blog a couple of times and again after you two are calling her a liar.

Basically you are attacking her integrity because of two points.

1. You think shes lying because she said she had nowhere to sit. But also said they emptied the Uhaul.

2. You also call her a liar because she said she was at the apartment alone unable to drive but later said she drove to the hotel.

Well those are minor discrepancies to attack her character. 1. All she said was Jer and the 5 people emptied the Uhaul. Maybe they didn't put everything in place. Maybe new table furniture wasnt unpacked. Their kitchen table is a door Jeremy converted into a table. Maybe he hadnt set it up yet? Maybe she didn't consider sitting on a chair in the hall with nothing else set up? Maybe Audrey doesn't consider sitting on a random chair as a place to sit?

2. Unable to drive ..maybe she thought the power would come on in the morning. When it didn't she realized she would need to find a hotel and was forced to drive. I could see being prepared to wait out a morning when you're not supposed to drive, but then driving when you're desperate (facing multiple days without power).

Lynn C said...

I notice neither of PJ or Rap acknowledged what Debbie said about Audrey serving Christ through volunteering to help youth find Jesus. Jacob's ex had been in a dark place. Audrey guided her, reminded her that Jesus loves her. As per Stephanie, Audrey is her idol.

Audrey selflessly saved Stephanie while Jacob left her in a dark place. Why don't you guys comment on that?

Rap541 said...

Maybe Audrey doesn't consider sitting on a random chair as a place to sit?

How is a chair not a place to sit?

Or a mattress for that matter?

Maybe she didn't consider sitting on a chair in the hall with nothing else set up?

How is a chair not a place to sit?

All she said was Jer and the 5 people emptied the Uhaul.

She also said she hurt her ankle moving the mattress with Jeremy - she was helping him "carry it in". She then sat on the steps of their apartment while the Uhaul was unpacked. She also states they were parked in front of their apartment. Are you suggesting the contents of the Uhaul were unloaded someplace other than the apartment? In order to say Audrey wasn't lying?

When it didn't she realized she would need to find a hotel and was forced to drive. I could see being prepared to wait out a morning when you're not supposed to drive, but then driving when you're desperate

In fairness, Lynn, I am not the one portraying myself as alone, on the floor with no food and unable to leave to where I had to cry out to God and of course delight in letting everyone know how I stood up for Jesus.

You also just *made* my point that she was fibbing - if she could drive then she wasn't trapped in the apartment with no food and no power. And knew she wasn't trapped so her hysterics over needing to have God lift her up thru her crisis are based on a lie - she wasn't stuck there, she could drive.

The two points you're referring to are where Audrey isn't being honest. As I said, I don't find it soul crushing to realize she's fibbing (unlike some of you) but again - I am not putting words in her mouth - by her own words, there was furniture in the apartment and she was capable of driving.

But plus points to you for not attempting the innane "you just don't know the timeline" silliness.

She fibbed. She was being overly dramatic and enhanced her story to make it sound scarier than it actually was and various Christians lapped it up. When the discrepancies are pointed out - the people who pointed out the discrepancies were attacked by Christians and called liars. Classic Christian hate.

Feel free to tell me again how Audrey is a Christian and therefore NEVER lies.

Audrey selflessly saved Stephanie while Jacob left her in a dark place. Why don't you guys comment on that?

Because I really don't care?

Also because frankly I have no idea what the details of "Audrey selflessly saving Stephanie" are and now that I see the details of "Audrey alone, in despair, in her desperate apartment crying out to God", I now suspect that people are prone to exaggerating Audrey's healing powers thru Christ.

PJ said...

Okay I'll answer. First of all the volunteering is great on the old college application. And it give Auj power over younger children. AND aren't "Christians" supposed to brainwash others into the same beliefs for the glory of their Lord and Master? Hardly selfless. As for rescuing Stephanie, if Auj was really trying to save the girl she would have gotten her professional help rather than point her at something else to obsess about. Jake couldn't leave her in any place she got there herself, that's why Stephanie needs professional help to be able to withstand life's bumps and bruises. It doesn't seem like she can now.
As far as serving Jesus. Anyone who's entire life is wrapped around religion with nothing else, regardless of what the religion is has a problem. Religion was invented to explain the natural world. Leaning on it to the exclusion of thinking for ones self is not a healthy way to live. I'd be far more impressed if she were volunteering at homeless shelters or animal rescues and saying nothing instead of shouting it from the rooftops for her OWN glory.

Rap541 said...

Btw part of the hilarity here is the insistence that Audrey can't possibly be lying.

People have put her on a ridiculous pedestal to where you can't even concede she's fibbing and exaggerating her situation.

It frankly sounds like she had a rotten day and needed some sympathy and made her situation sound more dire than it actually was. It would not be the first time someone needed to be bucked up and fibbed a little.

Now tho, because you've all turned it into "AUDREY IS A CHRISTIAN WHO NEVER LIES" now you have to play games like "you don't know if Audrey considers a random chair a place to sit".

Is she really this saintly? Really? Because its really pretty obvious she's making it sound much worse than it was.

Lynn C said...

Rap, you're ridiculous. You ignored my points and you keep saying the same thing. The discrepancies in Audrey's story are minor. If Jer and the guys from the church put the mattress on the living room floor and Audrey sat on that and didn't consider that to be "furniture" because it was on the floor, I don't think that's crime. You do.

And you "not caring" that Audrey saved Stephanie speaks loud and clear about you. You're quick to lash out at people who admire Audrey, yet when we give you an example of why Christians have so much respect for Audrey and why she is a wonderful Christian example, volunteering her time to make a difference in the lives of young people, your response is, and I quote "Because I really don't care".

Lynn C said...

PJ, you astound me with your answer. I try to anticipate how certain people here will respond and you sank lower than I thought.

Dismissing Audrey's giving up her summers as selfishly padding her resume being her true motivation? She's been doing it for several years according to her blogs long before she was Jeremy's girlfriend/fiancee/wife.

I'm sorry PJ that you deny the power of Jesus to help others. God does turn people's lives around. That's what Audrey taught Stephanie. As per Stephanie herself, that is what Audrey has done for her and Stephanie, repeatedly, expressed her gratitude and admiration for all of the selfless love and guidance that Audrey has provided her.

Even after her relationship with Jacob ended (Thank God), Audrey did not abandon her and Stephanie attended Audrey's wedding.

She is proud of her faith. She is showing people what it means to be Christian and what you can do if you live for Jesus.

Rap541 said...

You ignored my points and you keep saying the same thing

Because you're not actually saying anything valid, Lynn. You can say I am ridiculous all you want - Audrey is not telling the truth when she says a)she was left in an apartment with nothing to sit on but the floor and b) she wasn't capable of driving and was therefore trapped at said apartment.

I don't think that's crime. You do.

Actually I don't consider it a crime. I just don't consider it "Audrey telling the truth".

And you "not caring" that Audrey saved Stephanie speaks loud and clear about you.

Yes, I know, its awful when someone who isn't a Christian isn't particularly overwhelmed by your religion. But, I am not a Christian, Lynn - I'm not particularly against the faith, but part of your obtuseness is that you think people not of your own faith should assign merit to your religion's views. Why should a non Christian care in the slightest that Audrey "saved" Stephanie?

And really - I repeat my view that since "Audrey alone on her own, trapped and unable to drive" is not true, why should I believe "Audrey saved Stephanie"?

Ecossais said...

Newly wed or not I would suspect from the way Audrey is whining that, to some extent, Jeremy is in the dog house.

He moved them to a house without utilities.
Why did it take so log. Where I live you fill in a form, sometimes (depending on one's credit) have to pay a deposit and the power is on within 24 hours.

He scheduled a job that is so important and inflexible that he left his new wife with no place to sit, no electric, no hot water and no food.

They end up scrounging a night's lodging from the landlord then move to a cheap hotel.

PJ said...

The only thing I find selfish is Auj crowing about her acts to the glory of God. The way I was raised that's a sin all by itself. The sin of Pride. The truly religious people I've known go quietly about their good works without looking for approval or praise from anyone.
I'm sorry but suicidal teens need more help than Auj is qualified to give. Although I'm glad Auj stuck around to help the girl don't you think it was kind of rude to Jake to have his ex at his brother's wedding?
I would concede that Auj was on pain meds and that may have colored her inconsistent comments. In LA urgent cares and ERs hand out Vicodin like Pez. I've been offered it for things as simple as a sinus infection. Only took it with 2nd degree burns which is why I know it can color your emotions and perceptions.
And it's funny,LYNN C,you don't answer questions with anything but retreads of emotional claptrap.

PJ, rude to Jake? Why should Audrey and Stephanie be forced to not be friends because of Jake? He's the one mocking Audrey and rolling his eyes at the wedding and cursing on twitter the night of the wedding? But it is rude to Jake??

PJ said...

Angela, the invitation would have come before the eye rolling at the reception. And yes it was rude and rather thoughtless to her new brother-in-law to invite an ex to a wedding Jake had to attend. No wonder Jake has little or no respect for Ste Auj.

It's obvious that Jacob could really care less what any narrow-minded willfully igonorant people think or believe about what his ask.fm or his Twitter appears like now, and it is pitiful and unspeakably sad that those people actually feel you have some sort of victory.

Oh, and when you feel you can quote the printed word as "evidence" and the so-called truth therein, please also feel free to quote the printed words of Audrey's blog entries, and the so-called truth therein.

Rap541 said...

Hey Christians - still waiting on some answers.

Where in the stated timeline am I wrong? What did I misunderstand in Audrey's blog about the timeline. I'm being called a hater and a liar but so far none of you are willing to show how I am wrong about the time frame.

The uhaul was unloaded the night before. Per AUdrey, there was furniture in it - at least a mattress. So far the only defense on the claim of having no place to sit is that "Audrey may not consider a chair in the hallway a place to sit."

Also no one is able to refute that Audrey said she was unable to drive or escape her bare apartment with no food or power, but also states she drove to a hotel on the same very day she was despairing to god. Where did *I* lie - and please understand Christians, you are as CHristians, declaring me to be lying when you say I am not right about AUdrey's statments.

Why is this CHristian behavior? Or is this "We get to act like utter crap, and insist precious Audrey never lies as long as we privately say "sorry Jesus" and of course as Christians we are God blessed and the God blessed never have to admit to being wrong"?

Christians (and Audrey) aren't perfect but when Audrey says she couldn't drive and then drove in the same day, she's NOT lying either time, and both stories are true even though they contradict each other and anyone saying AUdrey isn't *perfectly* honest is hating her.

But CHristians aren't perfect! But Audrey never lies and to suggest she does is HATE!

Do you guys even see the pedestal she's on?

Rap541 said...

Why should Audrey be criticized

Well, she's clearly fibbing about being left in an empty apartment, unable to transport herself away since by her own written words, not only was the Uhaul unloaded the night before, the Uhaul containing their furniture, but she also drove herself to a hotel on the very day she was left alone, with no food, no place to sit, and no way to leave....

I mean, the whole "alone, no food, with a broken leg stuck on the bare floor and no escape" set up is why she got a whole lotta praise for crying out to God to save her in her *extreme* moment of agony.

Only huh, the apartment had furniture and she clearly was not stuck there.

Janet - was she telling the truth when she said she couldn't drive away and then drove away that very day? Which part of her story am I lying about? Because remember, Audrey is so perfect and so above criticism, the only answer here is to insist I am wrong so explain how I am wrong.

Eccosis - it was a Saturday. I assume it was a wedding photography gig. Now, technically wedding season is never really over but it does slow down a lot in winter.

The question I have is this - does Jeremy make enough off the occasional wedding to support himself and or to contribute equally in a financial manner in a two person home?

Note - I am not expecting him to fully support Audrey. But... he's the one who loves the church that says traditional marriage means the man is the main breadwinner. Does he bring more in than Audrey or is Audrey's job supporting them both?

Audrey's commitment to God is bordering on dangerous obsession.
Hearing voices speaking to you is the first sign of insanity.

This is so true. Whenever I read anything Audrey's written all I can think is "Wow she is insane". The way she speaks about religion and Jesus is truly frightening. I hope that maybe living in LA will open her eyes to other cultures, religions and viewpoints, but it's probably too late for that. Plus, she'll probably only associate with people who think exactly like she does. She is the worst kind of Christian. Totally full of judgment, ignorance and hatred for anyone around her that doesn't fit into these crazy ideals. Her ideas about wives needing to be submissive to their husbands is gross and bad for women. Beyond all of that she just seems very immature and unintelligent.

I applaud Jacob for questioning the beliefs of those around him. I think his level of critical thinking is amazing, considering who he grew up with. I don't always agree with everything he says, but I'm impressed with he desire for knowledge and interest in keeping up with current events. I definitely wasn't like that when I was 16/17. I hope he's finding some groups (whether online or in person) that are encouraging his exploration and critical thinking. He shouldn't be getting attacked online. He is probably the smartest and most level-headed person in that family. I think after he turns 18 he should move far away from them and into a more intelligent, accepting community.

All of your criticizing him should be ashamed of yourself. First of all, he is a kid. Stop attacking him. Secondly, your judgment is not very Christian of you.

Ecossais said...

@PJ
I have just been looking at Audrey's website/blog and you are right in that Jeremy would be wise to run for the hills.
Apart from all the god stuff this girl is absolutely egocentric.

Poor Jeremy has already screwed up.
Audrey states clearly that Jeremy found the apartment and she had not seen it before arriving in LA.
He must not have listened to her statement that "bare brick walls are essential" and that such apartments are plentiful in LA.

Lynn C said...

Wow, the Audrey bashing is very sad to see.

All because she is a Jesus follower who Christians admire.

There is nothing egocentric about Audrey, imo.

I also fail to see how "Jeremy screwed up".

The fact that Audrey had the trust in Jeremy to choose the apartment without her seeing it speaks to the strength of their relationship.

PJ said...

Ummm I've lived in LA my whole life and "bare brick walls" are incredibly rare. after brick wall fall down in earthquakes and buildings old enough to have been built of un-reinforced masonry mostly have been pulled down. Unless she wanted to live in downtown in an old factory type building. But that's lots of money and mostly condos.
Lynn, many of us do not consider Ste Auj's religious obsession anything that vaguely borders on normal.

Lynn - is she flawless?

Or

Are we not allowed to criticiize a "Jesus follower"?

If you aren't insisting she is flawless, then yes, Lynn, she has flaws and chooses to interact with the public on a reality show where viewers will criticize her.

Are you standing up tall and proud and stating for the record you believe Audrey is a flawless human being?

If you deny she is flawless (and I suspect you will), then you need to understand this website functions under the laws of free speech and NOT the CHristian Sharia law you want, where you insist Audrey is a Christian and therefore all criticism of her is against your God.

Is that it, Lynn? You think non Christians shouldn't be allowed to speak of Audrey without being muzzled?

And for that matter, what part of *my* criticism of Audrey has been UNTRUE? Since you know, I asked previously and as usual, all the Christians shut their mouths when they couldn't deny that Audrey's story of woe isn't entirely honest.

Lynn? Only Christians may speak here, is that what YOU want? Because you sure seem hell bent on making sure no one says anything but "Audrey is a perfect Christian, oh wait, no one is perfect but there is no valid criticism of Audrey, so he's not perfect but nothing she does or says is wrong, priase Jesus when Audrey says she couldn't leave the apartment and then describes how she left the apartment on the very same day, she's not lying bless us no, she's praising Jesus!"

Well, Lynn? Got anything other than "Anyone who isn't Christian needs to shut up and praise Jesus?"

Is "couch surfing" when you randomly show up at a stranger's house and ask them if you can stay at their house instead of spending your money on a hotel room? And if you've been on a reality TV show all your life and are used to not paying for things?

All of the Roloffs are so out of touch with what life is like for most people.

In some places if you showed up on someone's doorstep they would shoot you.

Do they realize this isn't reality for most people?

Rap541 said...

http://about.couchsurfing.com/how-it-works/

It *can* be just staying at a friend of a friend's place but its also an actual thing where people volunteer their homes to travelers for the experience and for the mutual stays.

It's meant to be a reciprocal sort of thing.... you get a free stay at person X's house and you then volunteer your place to guests.

There's an element of risk - you are essentially staying with strangers, the positive is that you get a free place to stay. So its an actual thing.

Rap541 said...

It is interesting that Audrey's self pitying rant with all the contradictions and untruths gets only 141 comments because she is a Christian and therefore can do no wrong.

Its mostly because none of the Christians are willing to acknowledge that Jeremy and Audrey aren't the example Christians that they want them to be. Whenever the criticism is fair or too difficult to refute, all the Christians simply shut up.

Examples? Lets see.

No matter how loud and proud people insist Jeremy is about his faith, the reality is that he was completely on board with displaying his wedding to the public. He's a 24 year old man. He's old enough to say "Mom, Dad, if you want me on this show, I need to have my vows to God shown because my belief in God is central to my marriage." Did he say this? Obviously not, because he did the show with a smile on his face and has had no problem with his vows to God being excised.

When it's pointed out that he wasn't loud and proud about his faith, there's a ton of excuses thrown out - excuses that pretty consistently contradict other claims - folks, if you genuinely believe TLC is making this show for a Christian audience, then producers aren't going to cut the God stuff. Then various people repeat themselves with how religious Jeremy and Audrey are... and then everyone shuts up when its pointed out that Jeremy and Audrey don't take any public stances on certain religious issues.

Yup, it gets pretty quiet. Sure, a few people like Lisa and Laura will insist they personally know Jeremy and Audrey and know for certain that Jeremy and Audrey believe gay marriage is wrong etc etc.... and that Jeremy and Audrey are living for God but are not in any way required to provide any proof or examples.

Think about it - does anyone think the Christian crowd here would allow this sort of argument if it was Jacob the Brat? That x or y was absolutely true and no one is required to provide any proof because well, an anonymous Christian fan said so?

Seriously - Jeremy and Audrey are so strongly with John Mark Comer's views that they can't once ever say "we stand against gay marriage"? If that's what they genuinely believe - why are there no examples of either of them ever having the courage to stand up and say it?

And when the anonymous Christians who "know" Jeremy and Audrey are pressed for their actual names so that there's at least a confirmable person claiming to have heard these views come from Jeremy and Audrey, oh look at all these proud Christians shutting up and sitting silent. Why? WHy so silent if a)its true and b) Jeremy and Audrey genuinely believe x,y, and z? Oh right - because announcing certain views to the public might affect the money. That's why no one who knows the Roloffs ever uses their real name when making these claims.

And look. when Audrey clearly lays it on a little too thick and gets called on it - and called on it mostly because so many of her fans tonguebathe her every word and insist she is a perfect Christian - sure enough, there's some protest at first and anyone questioning Audrey is deemed hateful because Christians are NOT to be questioned ever. Then, when that doesn't work and look thru the thread, I was told by several people I misunderstood the timeline but NOT ONE CHRISTIAN was willing to explain how I got the timeline wrong even after I asked - then guess what? A Christian, Lynn C in this case, dismisses the lies Audrey told as no big deal and the non Christians are of course wrong to question it. Then they all shut up because they realize they are basically insisting a person who clearly is fibbing isn't actually fibbing because well, she's Christian and even they realize they're being ridiculous.

Honestly I'd have more respect for all involved if people would just acknowledge Jeremy isn't standing tall for his faith when he allows his faith to be sanitized from his depiction and Audrey is a human being who sometimes lies.

PJ said...

I so hope it was through their church. Being semi-famous puts them at a much higher risk staying with strangers. i.e. they're on TV they must have wads of money...

Look at your own behavior as to the reason the discussion was deleted. How did anything Jacob did or could do affect an independent blogger enough to delete the thread. Where is your responsibility in the muckraking that occurred against minors no less. Your so-called "Christian" self-righteousness is loathsome and insulting to real Christians who seek God's strength to not treat anyone the way you cowards have. Your behavior is childish and cruel. Start your own blog if that is how you want to get your rocks off. Please just leave. You have nothing constructive to add. The continued use of the "Christian Right" rhetoric is tiresome and demonstrates your inability for logical discourse. Go play with a snake and if you remain unbitten hold that up as proof that God finds you to a glorious, perfect individual who always projects God's image. Or better yet, just leave the discussion. Accept your behavior as inappropriate and slink away - it isn't as if anyone knows who you really are (that's where you got the courage to be so inhumane). So you're the first to throw a stone? Let me help explain why this is an untrue remark from Christian Debbie.

Spirit actually isn't allowing *Jacob* to mock anyone on the blog. Jacob hasn't mocked Audrey on the blog. Even in the removed comments, JacobR didn't mock Audrey. Christian Debbie is making a very public accusation that is not actually true but she's a Christian so she gets to lie and spew hate... and Spirit actually allows her to have a voice.

Now I am sure Debbie will insist that she wasn't lying, that she was refering to Jacob's comments on twitter and ask.fm, and to that I merely say "of course - now explain how Spirits has the power to monitor Jacob's twitter and ask.fm.

Come Debbie, you Christian hater and liar - explain how Spirit has the power to control Jacob on *other sites* and please provide an example of Jacob mocking Audrey on *this blog*.

Jacob has not been provided a pulpit here anymore than anyone else has been.

MS - Exactly - Laura is attacking Spirit for nothing. If Anne wants to control a blog, Anne can make one. Laura has no right *as a Christian* to demand *as her Christian right* that Spirit give up the blog to Anne because *Anne is a Christian*.

Laura - that is your point right? That Christians have the *right* to demand whatthey want? You as a Christian are demanding your way or else?

So that Brat Prince gets what he wants? He throws a temper tantrum and gets what he's want.

Shame on Spirits for acting like a spineless fan and doing whatever Master Jacob wants.

Eric said...

"That thread had gone way too far, especially one of the last comments about an ex-girlfriend."

What are you talking about? Stephanie's public You Tube video was linked and she was called "hot".

I see. Is that going too far because calling the ex "hot" might hurt the feelings of the current one?

Someone else commented on what a shitty person Jacob is because Stephanie said she attempted suicide last month and Jacob didn't even give a crap.

We can't have that opinion of Jacob? Ridiculous.

Pamela said...

I don't think it's necessary for Anne's well thought out article to be removed.

If Spiritswander didn't like the comments directed at Jacob's girlfriend they only needed to stop those comments.

Removing the whole thing hints to me that Jacob Roloff was behind this.

It's not a good sign to fill his head with even more power and to let him know he can get whatever he wants by throwing a fit.

Nancy said...

Wow, I can't believe the whole thing is gone.

This is garbage.

Jeremy has been bashed and bashed and bashed for years on this blog. He has been called every name.

Nothing was every deleted about Jeremy.

But Jacob is protected? Jacob and his friends whine and get what they want.

Spirits is just teaching Jacob and his friend that they just need get mad and the world will do what they want.

If they didn't like what people were saying about them they should change their behavior instead of censoring.

What a bad, unjust decision by Spiritswander. Hopefully it will be rectified.

I am familiar with Blogger. It is very easy to restore an article.

Jacob Roloff, star of a reality show does everything he can to be as offensive and attention grabbing as possible by going against everything the show stood for and everything the show portrayed him as.

He does around on social media screaming and swearing at people. He was obnoxious as possible. He even admitted he didn't "have to be" insulting but he enjoyed it.

His girlfriend (who apparently can't be named anymore?) is intertwined in Jacob's twitter and ask. That was the girlfriend's and Jacob's doing. There are ways for the girlfriends of famous people to fly under the radar but she and Jacob didn't want that. They both her a focal point of social media. They also giggled with each other publicly about what people were posting here.

This, Spiritswander blog, was supposed to be a place for people to discuss Roloffs. People do that. It should be expected that the more Jacob and his friends act like asses, the worse opinion people are going to have of them.

Everything said about his girlfriend was known because it was brought to the public domain by either the girl herself or by Jacob. From her dog to her family history to their drug use. That was all stuff that is known because of her and Jacob. People have a right to discuss them because it is part of Jacob's social media thanks to Jacob always linking the girlfriend.

Jacob and his girlfriend come here and wish everybody a miserable Christmas and say "F you" to everyone and for that Spiritswander caves into what they want and slaps the wrists of Christians?

Awful decision making.

Melanie said...

People have a right to express their opinions.

If they don't like it, they shouldn't be reading.

Did Jacob and his friends ever think that if they tried being nice maybe things would be better?

Of course they don't because Jacob isn't a nice person and is vocal about how no one except him and his friends matter.

Debbie said...

Answer my question.

Audrey has been attacked. Audrey has even been attacked about Jacob.

Audrey is expected to take it.

But when Jacob's posse dishes out and then doesn't like when people tell them what they think of them, then that's not allowed?

Barbara said...

Jacob obviously got it removed because when he stomps his feet he is used to getting whatever he wants.

MS said...

All these accusations about Jacob being behind the thread removal, but not one shred of evidence. All we get is, "the thread is gone...Jacob must be in control" worded in different ways.

Anne's letter was up for a long time. If Jacob was in control here, how did the letter get posted in the first place?

Constant Jacob-bashing for a long time. Again, if Jacob was in control, wouldn't the anti-Jacob comments have been deleted?

Instead of lauding Spiritswander for even allowing Anne's *guest* letter to be posted here in the first place, the haters are out in full force bashing her. I'm sure the letter is archived somewhere. Laura can paste it in big, bold print on her sparkling new Christians-only blog.

Spiritswander has no obligation to keep this *guest* letter on her site. For those that get off by bashing Jacob, your opportunity is still there -- just use a different thread.

Michelle said...

Why are some of you acting like Jacob and female friends were innocent?

They instigated. They were rude. They were insulting. Jacob admitted his cockiness and said being arrogant is something he's proud of. He told everybody on the blog to "F off".

You act like a jerk and people aren't going to like you.

Diane said...

MS, did you not read the JacobR posts before it was removed? He didn't want the article thread public.

Rap541 said...

Michelle - technically Anne Bailey's article where she said Jacob was steeped in the devil and needed to be removed from the internet was *instigating*.

Melanie, I don't know if you fall into the "Christians are always right" crowd, so this isn't necessarily directed at you, but I have to comment on your first two sentences. I fully agree with them. But when I say Jacob has a right to express his opinions (mockingly or otherwise) on religion and those who don't like them don't have to read them, not one Christian here will tell me why he doesn't have this right. Instead, we get this ridiculous campaign led by Anne to silence Jacob when he's completely within his rights.

I agree with you. You and others have the right to bash Jacob all you want. I suspect Spiritswander agrees as well. After all, she has allowed hundreds of Jacob-bashing posts and I suspect will continue to allow such content. Even posts criticizing Spiritswander herself were allowed to be posted here. She's been very fair allowing everyone to have their say.

I don't know the exact reason for the thread removal, but I can understand. It was heading down a different, darker path with talk about Isabel's deceased family members, Stephanie's battle with depression and suicidal tendencies, and various he said/she said unfounded gossip about Jacob's exes. Maybe enough was enough and she didn't want her site to be associated with such talk. Again, this is Spiritswander's site and she can run it any way she pleases. I think she's been more than fair in letting everyone get their say in.

MS said...

Diane, I think I read everything Jacob posted. I'll take your word for what he said, but that doesn't mean he had any say in the decision-making.

Melanie said...

MS, Jacob is allowed to say whatever he wanted on Ask and he did. People want to discuss what he does with other people who know his history.

If Jacob gets to call people "annoying cunts" who don't matter, I think people should have that right to express their opinion.

All I will say about his gf is that she wasnt innocent. She wanted to be as mean ss Jake so people think similarly of her.

I didn't see anything inappropriate about his ex. I saw late last night about 2am. Jake's ex has a vlogging you tube channel where she is honest about what she struggles with because she she wants to share her story. Someone called her hot/beautiful and someone said they don't like Jacob because Stephanie was crying talking about how people around her were embarrassed. What is wrong with that?

NJC said...

When you loving Christians reached the point of blaming a girl's "un-Christian" behavior for her mother and brother's deaths and supported each other in hoping that the same misfortune would befall her boyfriend it became pretty clear to any reasonable person that that thread had run its course.

And I Can't help but notice that some of the same people crying censorship over Anne's post being removed were arguing just yesterday that Jacob/Isabel should be banned from posting in it.

MS said...

Melanie, I've already agreed with you that people have a right to express their opinions on Jacob. That doesn't mean Spiritswander is obligated to accomodate all content you or anyone else sees fit. It's *her* site. Jacob can say what he wants on his Ask account because it's *his* account. If you create a blog, then *you* get to be the decision-maker.

I doubt the thread was removed because someone said Stephanie was hot. There was other typical teenage talk as well about Jacob wanting to get back together with Stephanie, whatever. I don't really care about any of that, but that's what I meant by unfounded gossip. I'm not saying that by itself led to anything. But you've got someone who is apparently emotionally unstable with suicidal tendencies in Stephanie (I don't know her -- just going by what people have posted). Who knows if she follows this blog. People seem to like her, but what if she misconstrues something said here and does something harmful to herself? Look what's happened with Isabel. People have implied that her "ways" or "bad Karma" have led to misfortune in her life. I saw some recent tweets from her that one could interpret as suicidal thoughts. Maybe just drama, but who knows. These are teenagers, both of whom have already dealt with a lot in their lives.

Now put yourself in the position of Spiritswander. What if one of them does something drastic to themselves because of comments posted here? Would you want your site associated with that? That's what I meant by the thread going down a darker path and crossing a line beyond standard bashing.

Again, this is all speculation. I don't know Spiritswander nor anyone who posts here. I could be completely off base, but it's something to consider.

PJ said...

Wow dix you all see the nice photo of Matt, Amy, Zach and Molly ar an immigration hearing for Camerino? A nice, generous gesture by the Roloffs.

Ecossais said...

I think Spirits will have to close this thread too.
The bible thumping Jacob haters have moved on here now.

It is hard to believe that all this started over a wedding on TV.

Anne and the jesus freaks started by counting how many times god was mentioned in the couple's vows instead of just enjoying seeing a young couple getting married.
Then they pick on a few seconds of Jacob, in their narrow opinion, rolling his eyes and disrespecting the ceremony.

Then it is off to the races. Audrey's stated lies cannot possibly be lies because she is a Christian and Jacob's atheism lead to several pages from Anne and over 800 comments about how bad Jacob is.

MS is absolutely right. The thread was heading down a nasty path when it spread to Isabel's family and Stephanie's depression.

I hope the godsmacked witches are proud of themselves.

Other Christians, I am writing spiritswander@gmail.com and demanding that Anne's article be restored in its entirety. Please do the same.

The hypocrisy going on here has sunk to new levels that cannot be justified.

If the criteria for something being banned is because it contains people expressing their negative opinions on a Roloff, than all the Jeremy articles should be removed. He has been called a racist, an animal abuser, a "fake Christian". Not an article goes by here with Jeremy's name in it where he isn't mocked by the likes of Rap and Podge/Rodge groupie for being "Jeremy Jesus" or having his faith attacked.

But Jacob gets upset that people hold him accountable for his classless postings on social media and Jacob succeeds in censoring.

If the issue is one of the non immediate Roloff family members being commented on then again, it is hypocritical to let people like Rap and Ecossais (and Jacob on Ask.fm) bash Audrey as being a liar and stupid and lacking life experience, etc.

Audrey was judged even before her marriage to Jeremy.

And Audrey, unlike *Jacob's girlfriend* never insulted or swore at anyone.

There are double standards here against Christians and it reeks of Jacob's influence. I am not even allowed to say what I really think of him. I pray for his family for what they endure.

Yes, I also propose that Anne or myself or another Christian here take control of all Blog management decisions because that is what the customers want.

If a restaurant opens up as a burger and fries place, but then all the customers demand salad so they get salad and then more and more people ask for salads, than the restaurant should cater towards salad because that is what the customers have demanded. It is called good management.

I know that Anne has explored the possibility of her own blog. So I have I. But Spiritswander has a power in search engines because of existing for many years where as a new blog doesn't have that luxury . That's why Anne or myself should be promoted and given authority.

I am praying for satisfactory solution because I know that God doesn't want to reward Jacob's brattiness by allowing him to censor Christians after he attacked US and attacked Jesus and attacked Audrey and disrespected Jeremy. Like Anne said in her article, Jacob has social media followers because of the Christian audience. We have the power, he should not be given any power.

Melanie - no one is stopping you from calling Jacob names. However, no matter how you insist, Isobel and Stephanie have not been on the show There were starting to be some problematic comments being made about two girls who have never been on tv.

No one is being stopped from starting their own blog to call Jacob and his girlfriends names. Feel free. I bet Spirit would even let you advertise it. Heck Spirit is even letting you post your nasty complaints about Spirit. Kindly grow up.

Rap541 said...

Eric, perhaps the problem is that Stephanie's suicide - a person who has never been on the show, and who apparently has some issues despite being besties with Audrey - is being discussed at all on a website about the Roloffs. She's a minor (I think) and may have some serious mental problems, and has never ever been on the show and people here are commenting on her apparent suicide attempt as it relates to Jacob Roloff who she no longer dates.

Come on Christians - if you want to hate, why isn't *Anne Bailey* proud to attach her name to "I HATE JACOB ROLOFF.blogspot.com"?

Judy B - Jeremy actually did use racist language and actually didn't make any apology for it. Jeremy actually did take a series of photos of himself holding dead animals. Jeremy actually did say he didn't drink and then actually did get caught drinking under age.

Point me to some proof that Isobel or Jacob actually hurt their pets and I will back you one percent because I hate animal abuse. But not *opinion* Judy - actual proof.

I would like to read Anne's article again. I vote that the article should be public again.

It was a well put together and researched article that accurately described what Jacob was doing on Ask.fm and twitter.

Jacob was embarrassed when he realized that people were seeing him for what he was doing and that's why he censors because he is arrogant like that.

Eric said...

Rap, you're wrong on two points.

1. Stephanie. 2. "Pet abuse".

1. Were you reading different comments about Stephanie than I did? Because I called Stephanie "hot". Ok, sorry, I should have been classier and called her "beautiful" or "pretty". She looks very good in her latest You Tube video.

Now I see someone refer to "the horrible comments about Stephanie last night"....they're talking about my comment that she is hot!

If Stephanie wants to make You Tube video to discuss her story so that she can help people going through the same struggles as her, I don't see why people can't mention that Stephanie struggled with depression, etc. No one was mocking for that.

2. You exaggerate and twist what was actually said like you always do on this blog.

Jacob and "his unnamed girlfriend" (so silly)were NOT accused of animal abuse.

What people did say was that Jacob has a bad record of neglecting animals and it's not shocking to hear that an animal he spends time with was in bad health.

You're talking about a guy who tweets that he hears the family cat crying and screetching outside the door and doesn't even bother to check to see if he can save the poor cat.

He then posts a picture of the cat after the fact with a cut up face/neck/ears and doesn't express any remorse.

You're talking about a kid who on tv got a turtle and surprise surprise, the turtle is dead a year later.

You're talking about a guy who when the family dog was old, sick and dying just would complain about not wanting the dog around him because the dog smelled.

In my opinion and many others, this is not a guy who has a lot of love for animals and I'm definitely not surprised if the animals he spends time with every day are less than healthy.

That is my opinion that I'm entitled to and that is not accusing Jacob of "animal abuse". Nobody said he's beating the dog with a stick like "animal abuse" implies.

MS said...

Wow, Laura, I think you've really gone off the deep end with your ridiculous demands and justification. It was like reading something from theonion.com yet you're apparently serious. Again, wow.
