New Episode of Little People, Big World Tuesday July 7th On TLC

A new season/set of Little People, Big World began Tuesday July 7th at 9:00 PM on TLC. The episode featured more scenes and unseen footage of Jeremy and Audrey's wedding last year.

The episode was watched by 1.369 million people and received a 0.4 share of the key demographic.

Guest reviewer Rap541 was kind enough to submit a recap of the episode:

===============================================================

Written by Rap541:

Good lord, are we really devoting a two hour special to the six episode wedding that took place a year ago? Is this really all the Roloffs have left? I’m really missing a new episode of the Real Housewives of New York City for this?
Hey Christians… please explain to me how TLC actively endorsing a positive show about a transgender child is “keeping it hate filled for Christ, let us all pray only straight people are endorsed on TLC”? Because I am genuinely curious how you think the Roloffs actively accepting money from a network that endorses something you consider morally wrong is somehow a-ok and right for Jeremy and Auj to be a part of?
Hey, what are Jeremy and Audrey’s opinions of transgender folks? Have these two paragons of Christ and TLC ever had the gumption to have an opinion other than “I like having money?”
Oh hey, Rap update! My mom just got a pacemaker this morning and also she and my dad had their fiftieth wedding anniversary. I know the assumption is that Rap is from a terrible family but actually, Mom and Dad were married in a church and beat Matt and Amy.
Now the Jeremy and Auj journey with the marrieds on the hay bale reading lines. Jer reminiscences how gross he found Auj. Apparently they kissed in the hay but Auj was all “eww you kissed my forehead” and then they realize how they are long distance. Of course they went to the trestle to think. Of course Auj thought it was cute. Of course Jeremy bought a typewriter for writing notes. Auj dumped him for a bit. Jeremy thought she was weak and cowardly.
Of course Matt loved her. Of course Amy loved her. In theory Auj was hitting major events although the Costa Rica trip (where Auj wasn’t a gold digging whore but Tori was) Oh look filmed scenes for the show where Jeremy “spontaneously” tells his folks he will be asking her to marry him on camera. Btw so far not seeing any new footage.
Now we’re rehashing “Jeremy designing the ring” and “Jeremy knows how to use a typewriter”. Jeremy snots how it was so far beyond Auj’s reality to understand he was planning to propose… I see a lot of Matt in Jer and that is not a compliment. Auj voices over how surprised she was and that’s new.
I think the showing off the ring scene is new. There’s a pointed on camera scene of “are you getting married on the farm” which appears seemingly seconds after the proposal. Jeremy whines how hard a wedding is. Auj loves how into weddings Jer is. I wonder if she noticed how bored he was. Now there’s a lengthy “how hard it is to be rich and to have to plan a fancy party” sequeway. They both whine how quick the wedding was without mentioning the whole “it had to happen at a certain time for filming!”.
Now we’re on Matt’s visions for the wedding…. After all we can’t go ten minutes without Matt on his mechanical penis. Matt hates Zach disagreeing with him, and so does Jeremy, and Jeremy loves snotting how he delighted in pissing off all of his siblings. Matt notes how he and Jer are simpatico. Btw Jeremy mostly sounds like he is reading queue cards in his hay bales. It’s also very noticeable that the hay bales were filmed a year later.
FYI  - Lengthy commercial breaks
I’m also sort of amused that Jeremy spends his hay bales staring at Auj like how Michelle Duggar stares at Jimbob. There’s some lengthy reminiscing over the lawn. Jer shares his plan with Auj to build a house on his parents property.
Matt merely tells everyone he’s too physically messed up to paint but he will happily bitch at all them for how they paint. Also he takes a great deal of pleasure of messing with everyone.
Back in Matt’s office, Amy and Matt plan a hand made gift. Matt’s idea is to make a picture frame from wood from the tree house. There’s some grandkids talk. Tory and Zach want kids, Jeremy and Auj not so much.
Another commercial. Seriously, this is clearly the B-roll with Jeremy and Auj reading queue cards. More Jazz commercials.
Jeremy is delighted to be offered a comped custom suit. Auj and Jer play dress up for the cameras. In the hay bales Jeremy looks totally bored. Zach notes how clothes are no big deal him, Again, this is mostly rehash of the actual six episodes of wedding last year. Now we’re up to the bridal shower we already saw. Auj seems annoyed that older photos of her and Jer were circulated. At the forty five minute point, I am amused to note Auj has dominated the hay bales…
Tory and Molly did an art project for a bridal gift.
Now we’re up to the best man stuff. It’s actually sweet that Zach practiced with Molly. Also Molly a smidge older is much prettier.
Now we’re at the bachelor party….Matt basically snots at Zach over how he was violently assaulted and blindfolded for his bachelor party. Zach is more tv friendly and wants paintball. Matt wants some sort of of chainsaw massacre fantasy. You know, this is a lot of hay bales after the fact and b reel stuff. There’s paintball with voiceovers and hay bales. Then Jer is pranked? Oh hey Tye and Jeremy spent a lot of their photography classes taking nudes of each other.
So at the end of the first hour… I haven’t heard anyone mention God. Also really? This is two hours long?
More hay bales from Auj. She’s getting ready to get dressed. Jeremy looks so bored in the hay bales. To be fair, I am not “girly” at all so this wedding dress/bridesmaid dress stuff is like ick. Again not new scenes but Matt and Amy are clearly pleased. Now Audrey reads a letter from Jer. If I assume the letter wasn’t cut, Jeremy’s letter didn’t directly mention Jesus. Also the branding iron is clearly the standard “official roloff wedding gift” from the wedding shows. And really this is very very Audrey focused. Seriously look at the hay bales and consider who is mostly talking. It ain’t Jer. This is Auj’s display to the public.
There’s a lengthy ironing session. Again, the hay bales are clearly filmed well after. Matt and Jeremy do a commercial for the people who made the suit. Matt proceeds to tell Jer how terrified he was, and Jer notes how he loves the farm. The men folk do shots. Again this seems like b reel. I mean I am sure there are people out there with wet underpants over this two hour special but honestly its all mostly already shown footage.
There’s a kerfuffle over the ring. It’s lost? Zach lost it? There’s lengthy voiceovers over a screenshot of the barn. It seriously runs for two minutes and I have no idea if Jeremy ever got his ring.
Now we’re up to the wedding and still Jeremy hasn’t said God. But after commercials, they share the intimate stuff! Auj is proud to tell us! But she’s not in it for the money!
Btw a lot of commercials for I Am Jazz.
More hay bales from Auj. There’s lengthy letters to each other (at 1 and half hour in, no mention of Jesus or God) Now to be fair – the new tracks sign mentioned God but neither Auj or Jer mentioned that and had I not looked up, I would have missed it. Not sure, since it was the “officiant” – I admit to finding it curious that the person doing the vows was an “officiant” and not a reverend or minister or referred  to in a religious – if I should count it.
More Audrey hay bales. I genuinely waited to see if Jeremy threw down his love for Jesus and how he was marrying Audrey for God…. Yeah funny, how that wasn’t shown. Audrey’s vows, as depicted, mention God twice . And apparently Jeremy’s ring was never found.
They run off ot be filmed.  Then we’re at the reception. Molly likes having sisters. And now more reception. Matt and Amy give the kids a framed photo of the kids made from wood from the far. Auj in the hay bale *loves* it while Jer looks bored, liked he’d rather be off having fun.
Now we’re on to Matt and Amy speechifying. Matt starts telling a lengthy story and chokes up. Then we get Margo, Audrey’s sister making a lengthy speech. Seriously this goes on and on and really this episode is wayyyyyyy toooo long. On the other hand, I don’t see Jacob vomiting pea soup and twirling his head backwards like in the Exorcist. Zach makes an endless awkward speech  and commercial!
Am I crazy or does it seem like the new episode scenes are more video and less film?

Now we’re back to Zach’s endless speech about playing fugitive. Then finally it’s over. The marrieds dance. This was genuinely a good two hours longer than it needed to be. Hehe Molly caught the bouquet and finds it hilarious. Matt and Amy both note how quickly Zach’s wedding is coming. Will this ever end?

TLC is smart. They know the way to go is focus on Jeremy and Audrey. That's why they are back to focusing on them.

If TLC are smart, they'll make Jeremy and Audrey the focus of this season instead of Zach and Tori.

It sure is too bad that Jacob didn't stick to his word and stay off the show.

Janet said...

I think with Matt and Amy's divorce, they realize that Jeremy and Audrey are the future of the show. Can't wait to watch tomorrow. Their wedding was the best. God bless them.

Denise said...

I feel like TLC is listening to the viewers by giving us more Jeremy and Audrey. Thank you TLC.

PJ said...

The show is Little People Big World.Neither Prince Jer or Ste Auj is little. It makes more sense if the show doesn't dissolve to feature Zach and Tori adjusting to each other. And Denise not anywhere near all the viewers want more of Jer.

Megan said...

PJ, you're wrong. Jer and Auj are on the verge of making it big. They've already been featured in mainstream magazines like People ans US Magazine.

MS said...

PJ, I agree. I think the Zach/Tori dynamics would be the most interesting part of the show moving forward. Janet, it's supposed to be *reality* TV. Why should Matt/Amy's divorce shift focus away from them? Jeremy/Audrey are pretty blah, but inevitably ratings and viewer response will dictate what direction the show takes. We'll see. They do need to find some new material though. 19 And Counting pretty much went the wedding and baby route before being shelved. LPBW has one wedding pending and no apparent babies on the way. Mud races will only go so far...

PJ said...

"PJ, you're wrong. Jer and Auj are on the verge of making it big. They've already been featured in mainstream magazines like People ans US Magazine. "

I'm not wrong. Ste Auj and Prince Jer do not in any way fit the title of the show. Going by the comments here and in other places Jer is not looked on well by many of the fans.
And if they really are as pseudo religious as touted here the network may not be at all interested. After all the Duggars just seriously burned the same newtork and Duck Dynasty did a number on A & E not that long ago. unless some religious channel would pick them up I pretty much think these kind of shows are dead in the water.
The pseudo religious right here also seriously over estimates the power they have.
For reality show people to be in People and Us is nothing, usually arranged and paid for by the production company.

Rap541 said...

Megan - making it big at what? I mean, as reality show whores? I mean frankly, is that all they want out of life? To sit in front of a camera and do nothing but vaguely scripted scenarios? I thought Jeremy wanted to be a photographer for National Geographic? Heck, I thought he wanted to build a business as a wedding photographer...And instead he's still what? Sitting on the haybale and accepting money to keep his well cherished beliefs hidden.

More seriously, I think they have problems if Jeremy and Auj want to be the stars but despite that - this opening episode sounds a whole lot like "We had a lot of unused footage so instead of something new, we're just going to cough up the scenes that didn't make the cut from last year and *years* ago. I mean, really, that's an interesting decision, all things considered. Mind you, I agree with Janet a bit - Jeremy's wedding was popular, and god knows watching Matt bitch about Amy and vice versa... but considering the divorce, the other wedding, so many potentially interesting issues with Jake, the best they can manage to start the season is to essentially do a clip episode for events that took place years ago?

Makes me wonder.

Peggy said...

I completely agree with you, Rap. The show (LPBW) is dying, it's done for. Now we only hope to revisit it in years to come for Molly's wedding and Jacob's wedding. Other than that, it's a really dead, boring ass show with hardly any material.

Lennon P. said...

Rap is right! They used a bunch of unused footage and kept that going because the wedding was a huge deal, so they literally start of a new season with old footage? Laaaame. So little is going on in their lives that's what they resort to! Fun stuff.

tanya said...

I'm very excited to see the two best Roloffs tonight. I loved their wedding. I hope we see a lot more of it. Go Jeremy and Audrey! God bless.

Andrea said...

The best part of tonight will be seeing more of their devotion to God tonight.

Anonymous said...

I wonder how many commercials TLC will run for their new show about the transgender child during Andrea's "devotion to God" fest tonight?

Andrea said...

Anon, I don't know what your hate-filled point is?

There are plenty of people on tv who don't are incredibly immoral. That makes Jeremy and Audrey all the more special and all the more important that they are showing people what love and Jesus can do for your life - just give of yourself to Jesus.

Libby said...

I'm excited to see the best Roloff on TV... Jacob! He's in a lot of episodes this season and I hope his beautiful girl is there, too:)

Paula said...

Tori comes across as very fake to me. Audrey is much more genuine. I like that she didn't just jump for Jeremy and broke up with him for some time. It shows she wasnt desperate to use him for the attention.

Angela said...

I couldn't agree more, Paula. You can't say the same about Tori or Jacob's girlfriend. Audrey is such a great girl.

Brenda said...

I think all the Roloff boys have picked great girls. I don't understand the sick obsession to put Audrey on this pedestal. She probably doesn't even like being up there.

Madison said...

Tori isn't fake! Jacobs girlfriend isn't fake! Audrey isn't fake! SHUT UP. They're all fine. Get over it. WE UNDERSTAND you like Audrey better. Okay

Debbie said...

This episode is great. It's heartwarming to see how well Jeremy and Matt are on the same page. Jeremy and Audrey are great together.

Jason said...

Jeremy and Audrey are so self indulgent. Everytime I see Jeremy with his idiot friends I remember these so called loving Christians told people to kill themselves.

Angela said...

Jason, go away. You're just a hater if you don't have anything good to say about this Jer and Auj episode.

Debbie said...

I wish they wouldn't show Jacob. Knowing how hateful he is I don't want to see or hear him.

Rap541 said...

Angela, and you were appointed board mod when? Who exactly are you tell anyone that you demand they be silent?

I mean, you are American, right? Do you believe in our free speech laws? Or are you a hater who believes only you and like minded people have rights? You have NO right to tell anyone to shut up and go away.

Sharia Christian law? Is that your game, Angela? Only you and your buddies are allowed to speak per *Jesus* and screw man's law? If you're not Christian, shut up and be silent? Only Christians are allowed to speak?

Thank God we live in America and not Angela's Sharia Christian America. You need to apologize to Jason.

Christie said...

This is boring.

Luke said...

God you people are so obnoxious about Jeremy and Audrey..

Denise said...

Tori wants to have kids right away. That's not shocking at all. It's how girls like Tori get latched on forever. Shes very insecure. There's a lot of contrast between Audrey and Tori.

Judy said...

This is the best episode ever. TLC must see that they should do a whole show just with Jeremy and Audrey and a lot of Matt visiting.

Christopher said...

THE FACT THAT JUDY JUST SAID A SHOW WITH AUDREY, JEREMY AND MATT IS SO HILARIOUS. The 3 most malicious, worst Roloffs to do a show about. Hahaha that is too good.

Lily said...

The new season looks boring as shit.
I just want to see Jacob.
News flash Debbie you better not watch this season then because he's on every episode :) hahaha idiot.

Tamila said...

Ughhhhhh... the whole Audrey and Jeremy thing is so annoying... They're completely boring. "oh, honey, look, Jesus told me to ride a motorcycle today! Are you coming?" "Yes honey let me just take work off for the 4th week in a row, who needs money anyway as long as daddy war bucks I mean Roloff is supplying! Freedom!" :)

Leela said...

HAHAHAHAHA. Tori wants kids!?

Bernie M. said...

I wish they showed more of Jacob and Isabel. At least their life is exciting and fresh!

Mike P. said...

Amy eats with her mouth open.

I am not surprised.

Jacob had a hickey on his neck.

Go, Jake!

Milan said...

Matt and amy have hated each other for year. It'll be interest to see how they act in new season

Kathleen said...

It's a shame to see Jeremy turn out just as money hungry and fake as his pops.
At least Zach is a mama's boy and Jacob is independent.

Tallia said...

I wonder if Jeremy lets his dad get it on with Audrey!

Denise said...

Zach is rude. I understand he wants to be funny but it's rude to call Audrey high strung and really insulting to refer to Jeremy as "mentally absent".

Connor said...

Lily, I don't know why you are so happy. It just proves Jacob is a liar and a sell out. Wahhhhhhhhhh!!! I hate the show! Pity me!!! It sucks! I'm quitting! !! Everyone look at me, I'm quitting!!! Oh wait, he's not. Jacob being in ever episode just confirms Jacob is a loudmouth full of crap.

Vicky said...

So did they ever find Jeremy's ring?

PJ said...

" Jacob is a loudmouth full of crap."
So that's why you don't like him Conner, you're too much alike.

Denise, maybe Zach wasn't being funny, maybe he meant what he said about Jer and Auj.

Lynn C said...

God has great plans for Jeremy and Audrey. They stand out compared to so many others who get attention for being ungodly.

Brandon said...

Kinda says a lot that even in a "unseen footage" 2 hour episode they still don't show Jeremy's God filled vows....how come they cut all that out, again??

Barb said...

Audrey's vows were perfect. They are the best couple.

Angela said...

Look at how miserable Jacob looked during Matt's touching speech. There is something wrong with him.

Megan said...

Next week is Jacob moves out. Bad that he's in the episode. I agree with Connor. He spent so much time protesting the show now he's filming stuff for the show.

It would be refreshing if they tell viewers what a messed up guy he is loaded up on drugs and Satan.

Brandon said...

So is Jacob going to say the real reason why he's leaving? At least it will have some truth to it.

Connor said...

Jacob's girlfriend is in the next episode. She was standing in the kitchen. Can we say her name then? Finally freedom of speech. She will be on a reality show. Open game for us to post comments.

Kaitlyn said...

Jacob is so good looking in that 2 second clip when he says "move out" in the preview.

Angela said...

Connor, I agree. No more kid gloves. She is choosing to be on a reality tv show. Free game to talk about her. And there's not much good to go by at least from how she carries herself on social media. I wasnt surprised to hear she was nasty to the uncool kids in school.

Podge/Rodge groupie said...

People, I just watched and will watch gain to check, but can anyone help me on the exact sequence of Jeremy's vows? There was a camera break, and an off camera (probably scripted) short commentary during Jeremy's vows. Any idea why? There was NO break during Audrey's vows, though. One continuous shot without commentary. No problem there. Help please.

Daniel said...

Frankly, I agree Connor. There just doesn't seem like much to say about her honestly.

Shelby said...

Somebody tweeted Audrey asking if they were going to show when Jacob gets hurt? She got me excited. Lol. I thought maybe something recent happened but probably just a fan thinking of old clips. I've never wished harder for bad karma. Jacob is such a bad person.

Tiffany said...

Angela, then we had Amelia, a friend from school, deny those lies.
You deny the Benjamin story about Jeremy, I choose to deny that Isabel is all horrible and mean. Wait until we see what she's like on the episodes.

Gloria said...

Shelby, by wishing bad karma on someone, you are just asking for bad karma to be done to you.
I personally wish for bad karma on Matt for being a lie and a cheat on Amy.

Podge/Rodge groupie said...

Lily et al, can you please direct me to the episode synopsis or other listing that say Jacob is going to be in EVERY episode this season? Or are there only two episode this season, this one and next week's that has been advertised about? I'll check TLC's website but I found nothing there earlier on this claim. Or perhaps three episodes with the mud race that has not been broadcast yet, so we don't know if that is even going to used? I'll look again.

Eric said...

Shelby, when Jacob starts going to bars if he acts as half as obnoxious to people in person as he does online I would be surprised if he provokes the wrong guy and gets knocked out.

Ashley said...

Podge, or Lily is a friend of Jacob's who knows he filmed for every episode. I'm surprised he's in the next episode moving out. I didn't think they would reveal that. It sounded to me like they will put a fake spin on it, just say Jacob graduated early and that's when they have Amy stage ask "what's next?" I do agree with Connor. It's hard to have respect for Jacob when he's a giant sellout. Fine be on the show. But don't whine for 3 years how horrible it is and how he's refusing if you're going to be a slave to money and then join it.

Podge/Rodge groupie said...

Thanks Ashley. Lily, how many episodes are there in this season? You know Jacob personally, so I'm jut curious how long this season will be. They seem to keep being shorter and shorter. It seems to be getting down to summer repeat replacements for TLC, and that's it. I just checked TLC's website and there's no help there. Any info would be appreciated.

@Shelby, you wish harm on Jacob... how *Christian* of you.

Angela, I'm not surprised to hear Jacob's girlfriend was a bully. So is Jacob. He was in school and he's been one on social media.

Duncan said...

Just because one person said she was a bully doesn't mean she was.
Jeremy had sex before Audrey.
Just because I said it makes it true?
(That is true by to way)

SP said...

Shuuuuut the helllll uppppp already! Jacob is hot as hell. Notice how the blog about Jeremy got almost no comments? 76? Because he's BORING. Notice how every thread about Jacob gets like 400+. Because he's living a more interesting life. I'm sorry, but bible thumpers live pretty boring lives.
Jacob and his girlfriend do something fun every day...

Milly said...

Jacob and his girlfriend look really cute together, but she's kind of tall for him:)

Gracie Lou said...

I don't think Jacob is a bully on social media at all.

puddin said...

Well i have seen about 40 minutes of this new episode of LPBW. Its all the same stuff for the most part that has been on already...rehashing same ole same ole...Like TLC always does. I did like seeing Zach and do want so see Zach and Tori's wedding. Auj needs that big chin mole removed!!! ;)

MS said...

I figured this episode would bring out the nut cases. So Angela, haters can only hate as long they hate what you hate? Good stuff. Jason should "go away" because he doesn't like Jeremy/Audrey? Yet if Jason said something negative about Jacob, you'd be patting him on the back. Tiffany, good luck using logic with Angela. She doesn't grasp the concept.

Paula, what in this episode led you to conclude that Tori is fake as you put it? Let's be honest. You and a few others have put Audrey up on a pedestal for some bizarre reason and feel everyone must measure up to her. I suspect your mind was already made up about Tori no matter how she came across. It's as if you view Tori as competition to Audrey in some warped way.

Denise, let me get this straight. Tori wants kids so she can latch onto Zach forever? She's worried about losing Zach -- someone who doesn't appear to have ever had another girl in his life -- so she wants to have his babies right away? Good stuff. A saner person might conclude that maybe Tori just happens to enjoy kids (she is a kindergarten teacher after all) and is looking forward to starting a family. If Zach/Tori feel like they're ready to start a family, who are you to judge? Oh wait, "good Christians" like you specialize in judging others. You know very well, if Audrey had a baby, you'd be singing her praises. By the way, in Duggarland, the "good Christian girls" are encouraged to start churning out babies right away after getting married. Are they also just latching onto husbands forever, especially prized possessions like Josh Duggar? What exactly are the rules?

It was good to see the quieter Roloffs plus Tori get some air time. The Jeremy/Audrey fluff gets old. They need fresh material. Brandon/Ashley, I agree -- it will be interesting to see how they spin Jacob's move. Could next week's episode sort of be Jacob's farewell from the show (except for the occasional mud race cameo) -- a convenient way to write him out?

Tenelly said...

There are going to be 10+ episodes this season and Jacob is in almost all of them. Matt Roloff even says there will be 10 episodes this season, and a next year's season. He said it on his Facebook page. Jacob will be involved in that season as well.
Also, you can't even shame Jacob for "being on the show even though he talked shit about it". Tlc has become a joke, a mockery... But it's free money. He gets paid to be on camera. He'd be a fool to turn down the money, honestly. He's no fool. He knows what he's doing. And he knows how mad you bible thumpers are, and it makes him laugh.

Dina said...

Kaitlyn, Jacob is not good looking. It's called TV make up. Look at the Instagram picture his girlfriend posted last night. Jacob looks hideous. Don't be amazed by what tv can do.

Lily said...

There will be 10 episodes and Jacob is in every one of them, I'm pretty sure. There may be one or two where they mention him but couldn't get him to do the scene, or he just has nothing to do with it at all.

Malinda said...

Are all the episodes gonna be as boring as the first one? Not a very good start unless your the Audrey and jer loving crowd (which I'm not) soooo...

Hanna said...

How many people saw how hot Jacob has gotten?

Samantha said...

Jacob is a cute guy. I'm excited to see him with a girl... I'll just imagine it was me.

Brody said...

Jacobs girlfriend is a redhead too. He sure does love what Jeremy does

Carson said...

No, they begged him to be a part of the show. Why would they write him out? The years of isolating him and making him feel left out with the whole "4th kid syndrome" amy tried to pull was enough to push him away completely, when he declared he was done, he wanted to be I bet... Then I can almost garauntee you that big daddy Matthew got a call from Tlc that said we need Jacob, this is a FAMILY show, Jacob is part of the family. Tlc doesn't care that the whole family has treated Jacob like garbage most of his life. They just needed him for publicity. Just like Tlc didn't care that Jim Duggar touched all his sisters, it's a FAMILY
show, they need him for publicity. It's for TV. So the fact that Jacob is now on tv is more than likely because they begged him, offered enough cash, and he took it because why not? He's getting handed free money to be on his parents silly reality tv show. He's bringing his girlfriend along and he's happy with it. You're foolish to think Tlc wouldn't feature him for what you think he writes on the Internet. He gets paid still and you don't. Jeremy may have it figured out playing the God card gets you more cookies, but Jacob figures either way he's getting paid, and he can still be free to do and SAY what he wants. I wonder if Anne bailey still thinks she "won" somehow. Lmao.

Does the god smacked squad have to turn every thread into a "hate Jacob/love Auj&Jer" thread.

This was supposed to be about the new episode but Oh No let's jump on yet another opportunity to bash Jacob. No sane person can deny that much maligned Jacob is the best looking Roloff.

It's really odd that after the big stink you guys made about Isabel's bikini profile picture, you take no issue with Jeremy stating that the first time he met Audrey, she was wearing nothing but a bra and shorts (the same as Isabel) and in public no less. At least Isabel was on the beach. Audrey went on a public date like that. But of course with Audrey it's fine because she tweets Bible verses. Ugh.

Podge/Rodge groupie said...

Ooops. Pursuant to my post yesterday @ 9:21 PM, the camera break and comments were during Jeremy's written words about what he loves about Audrey. My mistake, but I still can't understand why it was done to what was omitted in Jeremy's speech, while Audrey read hers without interruption. Sorry about that.

Next. Lily et al, thanks you for the information. I admit I did check Matt's Facebook page last night and found the same information.

I do not remember the wedding episode of last season, I noticed that all the groomsmen were carrying signs with different names, titles and such like Sexy..., Auj (perhaps his pet name for her), and Babe (perhaps her pet name for him) on them. What was the significance of these? Was it explained in the first wedding episode?

Finally, did anyone else notice that there were quite a few quick shots of Jacob ( more than Ron, Sam etc.) during the speeches and stories during the reception? Due to the way my mind's wired I'm not good at all with reading faces, so I refuse to make any kind of assumptions about what was on the show. I will therefore wait for the word from on high, that being the Gospel of Ste. Anne, for another opinion on the subject.

J45 said...

It was a refreshing episode (since I didn't see Jer's original wedding episode); not as much unique content as I expected for a 2-hour special event, though... really (that reflects TLC moving on from LPBW IMO. Not a bad move, honestly, but I'm a little disappointed).

I'll give Jer credit: he was clearly very invested in the wedding and cares a lot for Auj. It was interesting to watch how involved Jer was (going to great lengths to make the wedding exactly how he always pictured it would be). I would've liked to have seen more collaboration with Jer and Auj on the look of things, instead of lots of Matt and Jer collaboration (It probably happened and just it just wasn't shown, but I would've like to have seen it). Matt even says Jer and he think alike and there's plenty of episodes that showcase their father/son dynamic, so this was not much different IMO.

I mean, it IS a show about lps and overall that should be the focus, obviously - but for a Jer & Auj very special wedding ep.... yeah, I expected more Jer and Auj than the addition of cutesy interviews (which, yeah, was kinda refreshing. LPBW should do more group interviews in general).

J45 said...

All that Jeremy praise was deserved, IMHO. But, I decided to separate my criticism and praise.

I was very disappointed (but not at all surprised) in Matt plainly catering to Jer's every whim. After unanimous decision to leave the sentimental shed untouched, Matt must consult Jer (after already getting "no's" from Zach and Molly). If Jer said "yes, tear it down" I have no doubt Matt would've done it. Despite Zach, Molly and maybe Jake not wanting the shed torn down. I mean, sure, Matt could've torn down the shed without consulting *anyone* (because this is Matt Roloff), so it's good to see he cares about _someone_ else apart from himself..... but really, asking Zach and Molly how they feel about the shed just to disregard their opinion entirely until Jer gives his say - that's over favouritism, which never ends well.

The second thing, is Matt completely revamping the farm to Jer's beck and call. I almost found it heartwarming: Jer has a wonderful vision. And Matt and Jer go through such trouble to make it happen... how sweet.

Until I learned Zach, Molly and Jake were NOT board with the revamp. Destroying the iconic flagpole and white wooden fence, knowing full well his other 3 kids were VERY upset about it. Not okay.

Jer said in a TH that Zach, Molly and even Jacob called him up, all clearly upset - all turning to Jer to try and stop Matt from destroying the white fence (Jer is probably the only one who can reign Matt in). And from what I understand, Jer basically laughed at their commotion.

Lastly, Jeremy _blatantly_ saying he WILL get the farm (no mention of Zach, Molly and Jake's share of the farm). It's very arrogant and selfish of him. Of course he'll get the farm, he's the golden boy. But I seriously hope Matt and Amy will at least _attempt_ to divide the property evenly among their kids.

Connor said...

Tenelly, Jacob is a fool, he even went further! He managed to prove that he has no integrity. He has proven that he's an arrogant liar who can be bought if you throw some money at him.

Go ahead and be a life long reality tv show. If that's easy money, go ahead.

But Jacob whined about the show for years. He wanted sympathy for being forced on it. He talked shit about how fake it is and how it sucks.

He then smugly announced that he was quitting. When people called him out on it and said he would be bought, he arrogantly doubled down and said he was quitting. The whining lying brat even went so far as to describe his role in future episodes. Remember that? Remember how all he was going to do was sign the waiver so they could show his face without needing to blur him out? But that was it, otherwise he was refusing to be apart of it and money wouldn't change that.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Not only does this mean that he has no integrity and is a liar but it shows that you can get him to do whatever you want if you throw some cash his way.

You could get Jacob to start posting about how police are the most courageous people in society if you gave him some money.

You want to respect an asshole like that? Somebody who says one thing, arrogantly spits on the people who (correctly) predict that he won't follow through and then sells out for money.

Pumpkin said...

anyone else think Connor is annoying as hell. Take your dumb Jacob hate somewhere else.

Audrey and jer ARE so self absorbed.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Not only does this mean that he has no integrity and is a liar but it shows that you can get him to do whatever you want if you throw some cash his way.

So in other words he's just like Jeremy, Audrey, Matt, etc... Dangle a dollar and Roloffs will dance. Remember, Jer's integrity is such that he'd rather sit silent and get his reality show money than stand up for what he truly believes. Why should Jacob be different when he's bluntly told by people here to look to Jeremy and do as Jeremy does. Jeremy shuts his mouth and takes the money.

Duh said...

Ecoassis said it, any sane person can agree that Jacob is the best looking Roloff.

Timothy said...

I actually agree with Connor about Jacob gladly doing the show now. It's hard to take anything he says seriously when he did the complete opposite of what he said he was going to do. Give him a dollar and he will say and do whatever someone wants.

Easy way to make money, but you lose your character.

Megan said...

Connor , you're right. You speak the truth about Jacob as always.

The difference between Jacob and the rest of the Roloffs (maybe Zach is a bit like Jacob and that's not a good thing) is the rest of the Roloffs didn't cry about how hard they have it because they have the show in their lives and needed to film. None of the other Roloffs went around telling people they were DONE with the show.

Jacob did that. Then he made himself into a joke by throwing all that aside the second a dollar came calling. I think Jacob owes an apology to all the people who said he wouldn't follow through on his threats to quit the show.

Jerome said...

@Dina..."Jacob is not good looking. It's called TV make up. Look at the Instagram picture his girlfriend posted last night. Jacob looks hideous. Don't be amazed by what tv can do."

If this is the case then why didn't TLC do something to hide Molly's horrendous acne?

LC said...

Of course Jacob starting doing the show again once he had to pay rent. Who expected him to get a real job that involved actual work? I'd be surprised if Matt and Amy really do make him pay his own way, though. They don't have the best track record of making their adult children be adults. By the way, shouldn't Molly have graduated college this past year? It seems like she's been there a long time.

Rap541 said...

Mega - so is Jeremy also a joke for taking the money and sitting silent over his deeply held religious views? Because he does.

Or when he carefully excises his views from the show because TLC theoretically asks him to - is he an example you want others to emulate?

Jamie said...

Remember new Jacob fans, he has said that you are all stupid and irrelevant and unworthy of even speaking to him because of your stupidity. Soak that in before you give him praise.

Gail said...

"I’m also sort of amused that Jeremy spends his hay bales staring at Auj like how Michelle Duggar stares at Jimbob"

What does this mean?

Why is Rap541 allowed to attack Jeremy and Audrey and get it featured in the main story???

Janet said...

"I am amused to note Auj has dominated the hay bales…"

Are you sexist Rap? Why can't Auj speak during the interview segments? You can see the mutual love between them both. I think you're trying to make Audrey sound bossy or something?

Rap541 said...

Gail - because I volunteer to recap and review the episodes. Spirit has never turned down a pro- Jeremy/Matt reviewer. I bet if you ask, you could also review the episode.

And the Michelle Duggar reference is to Michelle Duggar of 19 Kids And Counting and her blank eyed staring at her husband as they are interviewed together. As Audrey did the vast majority of the talking, as Jim Bob Duggar does, I assume Jeremy was doing the same thing, letting the dominant partner do the talking.

Brianna said...

Was anyone else surprised that Jeremy chose Zach for the best man instead of Mueller?

Do you think it was only because it was filmed and from a filming point of view, it makes more sense to have Zach get the attention than one of the friends?

Faye said...

How staged was the "prank" with the nude photo of Jeremy? I like how they made it seem on the spot, like Zach going outside and summoning Tye "Come here, hey do you have any funny pics of Jer?"

Does Tye travel around with a giant billboard with a naked picture of Jeremy???

Rap541 said...

Janet - I'm not sexist at all. I am also not one of the people here who insist Audrey's role as a wife is to stand behind her man and only express opinions he endorses. That makes it amusing that along with having the steady job that supports them, Audrey is the one who does all the talking.

And personally I think it reflects that Audrey is quite interested in being on camera as a Roloff while Jeremy, as usual, does nothing but sit there and nod.

Debbie said...

What makes Rap so special that Rap gets to bash Audrey in a lengthy rant that gets published?

"And really this is very very Audrey focused. Seriously look at the hay bales and consider who is mostly talking. It ain’t Jer. This is Auj’s display to the public."

You're saying this like it's a bad thing? Audrey is lovely. She is the best thing to happen to the Roloffs. I just love her and Jeremy. The more Audrey the better. The powers that be on the show are smart to feature Audrey.

Kelly said...

What is Rap talking about? Just trying to create trouble. Jeremy didn't look bored. I saw love between Jeremy and Audrey. They were awesome together.

Gail said...

Rap, you were trying to insult Jeremy (and Audrey) with that comment. Audrey speaks so she is the "dominant" partner? Jeremy did not have a "blank look" on his face. He was interested in what Audrey was saying just like most of the viewers. Audrey is great.

Hillary said...

Jeremy did plenty of talking. Rap is a basher plain and simple.

Barb said...

I vote for "Ban Rap?

That wasn't a recap or a review. It was a try to demean Jeremy and make Audrey look bad?

Not one negative word about Jacob??

If Rap doesn't get banned, Rap better have a lot bad to say about Jacob and his girlfriend next week.

Rap541 said...

Debbie -have you offered to write a recap? I did. In fact, I actually made a point of offering Spirit a test recap way back in the day when I first asked Spirit. Have you? Or are you in the spirit of Christ, sitting on your ass being lazy, and bitching about the end result when someone else bothers to do what you can't be bothered to do?

Way to step up for Christ and Jer, Debbie. Lemme guess - it's just easier to complain?

Audrey is clearly loving the camera. Frankly, I thought one of the complaints about Tori was how Tory wanted to be on camera and yet hmmm Audrey was just right in her glory for a two hour special on how she got comped for being a Roloff. If it was Tory (and it will be soon) I assume the same behavior that you delight in will be used to call Tory a gold digging whore who secretly is marrying Zach to be closer to Jeremy/Molly/whtever other conspiracy theory other than Zach you Christians decide on. Btw - still no God in Jeremy's vows and not once did I hear either of these two mention how Christ was the reason for their marriage and how every thing they do was for Christ. God was mentioned twice by Audrey in two hours. Jeremy mentioned the name of the company that comped his suit more.

Rap541 said...

Barb - write your own.

I didn't mention Jacob because frankly he was hardly in the episode. Come on now Barb - cite me some examples of bad things Jacob did in the episode.

Hey Barb, why don't you ask Anne to remove me from the net? The way you did Jacob? :) Come on Barb, the power of Christ compels you :)

PJ said...

Podge/Rodge groupie said...

Barb, Gail, Debbie, why don't you all GET OFF YOUR BUTTS AND WRITE A REVIEW? I've written reviews of three episodes and Spirit always published them. And Spirit has repeatedly invited ANYONE to take the time and put their observations and opinions out there on an episode review. A few seasons ago, blog poster Expressed wrote reviews for many episodes, and they were considered pro-Roloff, and especially pro-more shirtless Jer (Hi Expressed!!) so, instead of birching and sitting on your pedestals judging and bad-mouthing Rap541, have the courage to write your own reviews and they will be judged by the readers just as much as Rap's reviews get judged by you! And after your recent posts, any reticence or excuses will only make all of us think less of your future comments. People, this is what the forum is all about! Instead of complaining about someone else's views on an episode, write your own views about an episode on the blog. Then we discuss it on the blog. Net week should have many different reviews that will be discussed from many different viewpoints. Same with the rabid Jacob haters. Let's hear from people!

J45 said...

@Gail "Why is Rap541 allowed to attack Jeremy and Audrey and get it featured in the main story???" Rap541 has consistently done the recaps for the past few seasons. As Rap said before, I'm sure if you asked Spirits they will let you do a recap. (If I recall correctly, Podge/Rodge groupie and Expressed used to do some recaps. Expressed was pro-Jer btw).

I'll remind you that Anne Bailey was allowed a whole article based on the Jacob discussion (it was taken off briefly and all the comments were wiped, but it _was_ reinstated).

I'm sure if you took the time to write a Pro Jer & Auj article, Spirits would oblige and post it.

@Barb, I find it amusing that the Christians condemning Rap541 and Jacob from voicing their opinion are the same ones who'll stop at nothing to push their Pro Jer & Auj stance on everyone else.

I highly, highly doubt Spirits will ban Rap (a consistent and entertaining recapper who backs up her arguments up).

J45 said...

BTW, how does the God Squad feel about this:

NJC said...

Seriously, a two hour show about one of the most sacred events in a person's life and Jeremy can't manage a single God reference? How can that be? I read again and again about what an amazing Christian soldier he is but he can't squeeze in a single "I thank God I found Audrey" or "God brought us together" or even a "Nice job with the weather God"? I guess there just wasn't enough time. To be fair though how could he possibly find time to praise Jesus when he was so busy praising himself? Sure Jesus walked on water but Jeremy invented pants without belt loops.

Oh and be careful Rap. This crew take credit for getting Jacob "banned" from one of the most irrelevant sites on the internet, your MySpace could be next.

It's ok to have differing views. Not everyone drinks the JerAuj kool-aid. I'm sure there will be plenty of Jacob-bashing after next week's episode. Maybe one of you will even be allowed to guest post.

Good stuff, Rap. I enjoy your posts.

Connor said...

Rap, why do I have a feeling that if Jeremy had arrogantly tweeted that he was quitting the show and then appeared in an episode and had a prominent scene in the preview for the rest of the season, that you would be going on about what a liar Jeremy was?

Your excuse for the lack of negative Jacob sentiment was that he wasn't in this episode very much. But he was in it. After saying he quit.

How long are you going to keep treating Jacob with kid gloves?

Rap541 said...

Connor - I have never really cared one way or another whether Jacob does the show or not. I personally have never taken any stand on it because frankly, I don't consider it that big of a deal. If Jacob is willingly doing the show once he hits 18, then he's just like Zach, who didn't want to do the show until he got paid (and who no one cares about because he's a little person/not as attractive as Jer/not as outspoken as Jake)

Will Jake be a hypocrite if he's doing the show? Yup. Was there any reason to whine and moan about the footage in this recent episode that was all filmed before he turned eighteen? Not really.

I've been quite up front, Connor - Jacob is no better than his brother Jeremy - dangle a dollar and a Roloff *will* dance for it. Jeremy prefers money to standing up for Christ. Jake prefers money to making a strike for independence. I have no problem saying both are wrong. Do you have a problem saying *both* are wrong?

PJ said...

Conner,
As someone that thinks Jer is a true yutz I would just assume the economic reality hit him and he went back to TLC. Same as I think of Jake.

Jamie, that is so right about Jacob. His defenders should remember that Jacob thinks they're all irrelevant. It looks like he has a good match with his girlfriend. Jacob is so rude and mean spirited and apparently she was the same way. People like that are disgraceful. They have no idea or care about the damage they inflict.

Rap541 said...

Gina - I am absolutely sure that Jacob got that attitude from Jeremy who used to call his fans "irrelevants" "randoms" and of course "creepers" and at the age of 18 delighted in mocking those fans. Any thoughts on the fans *Jeremy* hurt, at age 17-23 - other than how all those fans need to understand how Jeremy was *blessing* them with insults and how poor Jeremy can't be expected to be pleasant to anyone that doesn't meet his high standards of physical appearance? Since Jeremy has never offered an apology for his bad behavior, I have no reason to think he has any idea or cares in the slightest about the damage he caused.

Please tell me how the important thing, when Jeremy shits on someone, as he has many many times, is that we all remember Jeremy loves Jesus so everyone needs to not be hurt when Jeremy decides they're too fat, ugly, or gay for him to be pleasant to - in Jesua's name, Jeremy gets to hate and judge and Jesus blesses him for shitting on the "randoms", right?

Heather said...

"Apparently she was that way" *says one person*, lol. I think Isabel looks sweet.

Yeah! Wouldn't it be great if we all prayed to Jesus for Jacob to die and Jesus heard us and killed him? Good Christians, let us all pray for Jacob to die! He made the sun shine for Audrey, so in His Name, let us pray for Jacob Roloff to die! Thats what being Christian is all about! I'm so excited to be a part of the Christian faith!

WMH12 said...

Jeremy and Audrey both look totally dead behind the eyes, no interest in one another, and self-absorbed. The fact that they're both conventionally attractive and into Jesus is pretty much the only reason people are interested in them. Boring. At least Zach and Tori make eye contact with one another, laugh together, and seem to enjoy one another's company.

PJ said...

Okay I watched the special. Boy Auj loves to talk and in more than one talking head Jer looks really disgusted that she won't shut up. Auj is a pretty girl but as a former make-up artist I can say her beauty is about 50% makeup. Tori had the confidence to appear without the excess (but well done) make-up. The other thing I took away from the talking heads is that both Jer and Auj have inflated views of their specialness and creativity.
As part of the creativity thing Auj should have gotten professional help to make her dress fit properly, it did little for her figure and could have made her look shapelier if properly fitted. Where was her traditional veil? It symbolizes virginity in Christian weddings, what is she telling us? And the bridesmaids dresses were a joke. They were one pattern made with bedsheets. Not so much custom as Pinterest specials.
Auj even chose some of the stories for Zach's speech. Talk about controlling.
And Jer was cute as a teen what happened? He's not aging well at all.
Jers missing ring is on his finger at the reception.

Ashley said...

"Where was her traditional veil? It symbolizes virginity in Christian weddings, what is she telling us?`

PJ, in one of Audrey's blogs before she was ever on the show or engaged to Jeremy, I remember her writing that she had abstained from sex for a certain number of months.

I wish I could remember exactly what she wrote so I won't be called a liar, but it was definitely something that made it clear that she wasn't a virgin, that she had "sinned", asked Jesus to forgive her and vowed to wait from then until marriage.

Pam, that's genuinely idiotic to think she's just "trying to get fans something free". She's promoting products. She hypes them up so (ideally) the few thousand that entered and didn't get one will want to buy it theirself and Ste Auj gets commissioned. When people say Audrey is the female version of Jeremy, I believe it. They're both revolting people on the inside. I feel bad that so many old ladies on here fall for their load of crap.

I wouldn't be surprised if Audrey did quit her job. She married into a family of free loaders. It looks like they're just going to build a house on the farm and milk the gullible fans for all they can get.

Ecossais said...

Pam,
How dumb can a person be?

Audrey is not getting her "fans" something for free. She is promoting herself. Do you for one moment think she is not getting some compensation for the promos like the current one - Copa wines?

The whole Roloff thing is about getting things free - from trips paid by TLC to a wedding. Gee - Jeremy couldn't even buy his own wedding suit????

Naomi,
Jacob is better looking than any of the other Roloffs and he has "dark" eyes because he has brown eyes.

Zane,
I am with you. Excellent post.

I don't understand the God Squad's fixation on Jake's "dark and vacant" eyes. Dark (brown) eyes is a genetic trait. "Vacant" eyes is subjective (an opinion) not a fact.

Jeremy is no better for having lighter eyes, just as he is no better than Zach for being average-height.

Jacob is such an obnoxious jerk. I laugh at these people who try to defend him by saying you can't judge him based on a few minutes of a (fake and) edited TV show.

The show tries to hide just how obnoxious and rude he is. Look at how he carries himself online. He has so much arrogance. Like other people have said, he's a whiner, a hypocrite and a liar. He's a know it all spoiled rich brat.

I assume the reason why his girlfriend is with him because she wants the attention and perks from dating someone on a show (how much do you want to bet the she's benefiting from free trips this summer just like fellow moochers Tori and Mueller in days gone by).

I think reality TV shows should be forced to display the people's Twitter accounts on the show so everyone can see how obnoxious Jacob really is when he's not being protected by producers. He's a very hateful arrogant person.

Denice said...

Taylor, nice try.... Lol
You keep trying to go off of his Twitter when all of his Twitter is literally just information about worldly issues. He retweets tweets about news and issues going on in the world. And when he does tweet it's usually an educated opinion about what's going on. Just because YOU think he has an arrogant attitude doesn't mean he does, although he might have learned that from his older, very egotistical older brother, Prince Jer.
"I assume the reason his girlfriend is with him because she wants the attention and perks from dating someone on a show"... Yeah a dying reality TV show about Little People and he's the least filmed person on TV... The perks are being bashed on the Internet and two seconds of her face on camera, meanwhile everyone drools over Audrey and Jeremy. I doubt there are very many "perks", I believe based on what she says about him that she really loves him.
Your opinion of him, Taylor, is not fact. It is opinion.

So pleased with the new tone of this blog. :) Now, let's focus on actual pressing, interesting issues, rather than Jacob hate. How about it, folks?
who do you think is more upset about the divorce, Matt or Amy?
Personally Matt looks like he's living the life. Perhaps it was a stupid question. But a divorce could put Matt in some pretty big trouble, he may have some legal ties to her that he would not be happy to deal with. Happened with my parents and my dad is still bitter and upset about the whole thing.
Honestly, in my opinion, Amy seems pretty casual about it, but I have a feeling she's hurting.

I don't know whether this will be censored, but I wish people had a chance to know that I have made an offer to write a review as an alternate to Rap541 who clearly should be banned and not allowed to write "reviews".

I see the comments saying "Why don't one of you write a review" I have made an offer to Spiritswander and I haven't heard back.

I believe this is censorship and anti-Christian in the bias.

I have learned some valuable lessons since the last time I allowed Spiritswander to use my writings on their blog.

I have terms and conditions that must be accepted. The following is the email I have sent to Spiritswander. As of yet, I have not received a response to my offer. Therefore if only Rap541 continues to have published reviews, it is because Spiritswander is choosing to only publish the views of an Anti-Christian Jeremy and Audrey Roloff basher. The so-called "invitations" to write would not be true.

Here is my letter:

Dear Spiritswander,

I have seen the invitations to write a review of the Little People, Big World episodes and I am submitting my name Anne J. Bailey to write the review for your blog.

However, as a strong minded Christian woman who values integrity and honesty, I have terms and conditions that must be met because I have learned from the last time you used my writings for your blog.

If you do not accept all of my terms and conditions, I cannot allow you to use my writings for your blog.

1. I command a $150 honorarium.

2. I must have full creative control. There will be absolutely no censorship of my work. Every word I submit will be published as is and will not be deleted or amended in any way shape or form.

3. You will not write an introduction to my writings. From the title to the end of the article, will all be my work. I will take it upon myself to explain who I am and that I am writing the said piece.

4. In addition to term #3, this is the case to my use of names. Nothing I write about Jacob Roloff or his [name excluded] girlfriend will be removed or censored. Any words I write about anyone I choose will be published as I wrote them.

5.I have free reign to post links to any site I see fit. This could be someone's social media account or political or religious sites where readers can donate and support the cause.

6. I will be granted full authority to remove any comments to MY ARTICLE from users that I deem inappropriate.

7. My article will stand alone on the site for a period of 24 hours as the most recent article. Rap541's review (or any other article) will not be allowed to be published until a period of 24 hours has passed since my article was published.

8. As this is my work, I have full copyright and permission to publish my work on any site or venue of my choosing.

You may email me your confirmation that you agree to these terms and I will submit my writing to you as early as Midnight Tuesday and it will be published no later than 8:00 PM Wednesday.

Sincerely,

Anne J Bailey

Anne, Thank you for coming back! Thank you for all that you've already done in the name of Christ and truth.

Spiritswander, you better publish Anne.

Debbie said...

Welcome back Anne!
Anne better be published.

Does Rap receive a fee?

Does Rap have moderator control over the comments?

Anne, I want to see your review of the show on Tuesday. It has Jacob in it and I want to see someone who is not afraid to write the truth no hold bars about Jacob.

Gail said...

Thank you Anne! This is great news! From the preview, next week is going to show Jacob moving out and his girlfriend is filmed on camera. I want the truth to be spoken and featured and Anne is the best one to do it.

Bring on Tuesday!

Connor said...

Well, it will be nice to have an alternative to Rap. Sorry Rap, I'm not buying that your avoidance of Jacob being a jerk is because of how much or little he is on the show. You would find a way to work it in if it was Jeremy. You go easy on Jacob. That's a fact.

I want Anne's review.

Anyone see on the TLC Facebook page that there's some backlash from viewers because TLC is still all about Jeremy and Audrey. Now they're posting "With Zach and Tori's wedding fast approaching, Jeremy and Audrey have advice for them".

People are saying enough with Jeremy and Audrey, the beautiful people and give the time to Zach and Tori.

Janet said...

Thank you Anne for your efforts.

If Spiritswander is too cowardly to give you what you need, have you thought about having your own blog?

Angela said...

Janet, Anne (and others) have explained this before.

It's hard for a brand new blog to get an audience, to show up on Google Searches. Because this Roloff Blog Spiritswander has been around for many years, it does well on Google searches.

In short, Anne's works being displayed on Spiritswander means more exposure than on a brand new blog.

Ban Rap from writing on this blog?
"you USED my writings for your blog" You SUBMITTED the article Anne and Spirits was kind enough to publish that vitriol.
Honorarium to write on a blog?
Full authority to remove comments? One must assume no Auj/Jer criticism, only Jacob bashing will be allowed.
24 hour exclusivity?

Who the hell does Anne Bailey think she is? This woman is out of her mind.

J said...

Anne, that's so ridiculous. You "command" that Spirits pay you (seriously????) and allow you control over THEIR blog? And if they don't it's Christian persecution??? Start your own damn blog. I've never met a more ridiculous person in my life.

Demanding to remove any comments you want is censorship to the extreme and that's something that Spirits has never been about. This is Spirit's blog and she(?) has absolutely no obligation to let you crazies bully her into giving you control of it. Her even allowing you to post your ludicrous email in a comment shows that she has more tolerance and grace than most. Her allowing you guys to insult her on her own blog shows that she has much more tolerance and grace than you so called hands and feet of Jesus who do nothing but bully, talk crap and repel people from Christ.

Bottom line, Anne, you have no right to anything you have demanded of Spirits. Get over yourself. I honestly hope Spirits posts a public response roasting you entitled and delusional old hags. In the meantime, I'm sure she will allow you to keep posting any opinion you want in the comments.

Anne is the best thing to happen to this blog, in my opinion.

The blog was idle for a few months, can't Spirits just hand over full control of the blog to Anne? That would solve many of Anne's issues and it would improve the quality of the blog.

Paula said...

By the way, if Anne was in control, I would even offer to volunteer for the blog to report on what Jeremy and Audrey are doing and conversely, what Jacob and his girlfriend are doing next.

So in other words, you Christians don't want to do the work, and insist you're owed something. (and Anne wants 150 to speak her mind)

Yes, several of the Christian crowd have explained in detail how they don't want to do the work of setting up their own blog and gaining their own audience and therefore feel they have the right to demand Spirit cater to them because their laziness is a precious Christian choice.

Seriously, if it really meant something to you Christians, you'd do something other than nothing... Does God love you more for refusing to make an effort without riding the coattails of someone you don't agree with.

For the record, I don't get paid a cent.

Spirit has full right to edit my reviews and has, sometimes for tone.

WHen there have been other reviewers, I have made no demands on their content/editing/posting.

I have no control over comments posted, or any moderator control.

Did I mention I've never been paid?

Janet - if you feel Anne deserves 150 dollars, how about *you* offer to pay Anne?

Rap541 said...

Paula - why shouldn't Anne offer to pay for the blog? Why does spirit have to *give* it when Anne won't even write an article without payment of 150 dollars?

Rap541 said...

I'm seriously asking btw - why does Spirit have to give? When Christians like Anne are demanding payment? Will someone who walks with Christ explain to me why Anne deserves compensation while Spirit does not?

Laura said...

Anne,
Thank you so much for returning and making the offer. This could be the beginning of great things for this blog.

I urge all Christians reading to flood Spiritswander with emails and comments that you demand Anne's reviews be seen as Anne outlined.

Judy said...

Rap, you've had your say for how long now???

It's time for Anne to take the reigns.

Rap541 said...

Laura - are you willing to pay Anne 150 dollars? Or in the name of CHristian decency, are you expecting Spirit to pay for what you don't want to pay for?
